-Tenant Requirements: Tenant stated on the Agreement/Booking must be at least twenty-five (25) years of age, and acknowledge that they will occupy the property during the entire tenancy.

-Manager and owner of the rental property are not responsible for citations received while staying at the property.

-Be respectful of the house and contents - it is someone's home. Respect the neighbors and neighborhood.

-No events or parties. If it is determined that a party/event is taking place at property, management has the right to evict tenants and guests with no refund.

-If determined that a party took place on any of the nights reserved, reservation guest will be charged $500, no exceptions.

Cancellation 60 days or more before your stay will receive a refund less the cancellation fee of $350. Cancellation 60 days or less before your stay will not receive a refund unless the same dates are re-booked. If that occurs you will receive a refund less the cancellation fee of $350. Additional details with regards to cancellation policies and procedures may be found in Section #15 of the Rental Agreement as provided at checkout.

This was a great option for my large family of ages ranging from 1 to 70. Everyone could go up to the apartment as often as they needed from the beach and switch over to the pool when needed. The apartment was well stocked with linens and kitchen things. The view of sunrise was beautiful. Only down sides were the water pressure in the showers wasn’t great and made washing a lot of hair pretty difficult and the beds were comfortable but a little wonky in shape. Finally, Kure Beach itself just needs a little knowledge of where the tide reaches and when so you don’t get your things wet. The beach gets to be pretty small during high tide so maybe a better time to be at the pool then if you have a lot of people or little ones hoping to play safely. The property managers were very responsive.

My family had a great trip. The condo was exactly as described, right on the beach. The Rec Center was an easy walk. This part of the beach was nice and sandy (the higher number buildings had rocky shoreline…to each his own but we liked the sand) What really set this trip apart was the communication. From booking, to instructions as we got closer, to checking in with us while there, to helpful notes left there. Top notch communication really helped us feel comfortable and welcomed.

We chose this property for its location and space and it did not disappoint! Short walk to the coquina (mossy) rocks. 3 bedrooms with the master being huge! 3 bathrooms so no sharing showers. Had a wonderful time!!! Tons of fun activities within a short drive!!!

It was a family gathering. My two sons and their families along with me - total 9 (5 adults, 4 children). We had a wonderful time. The condo’s location was very convenient for both beach and pool. There were beach chairs and toys. The view of the beach was great and the table on the porch was used daily for eating, games and enjoying the view. Some minor issues should be addressed but the problem we contacted the manager about while there was addressed promptly. We wish we could have stayed longer!

You couldn't be closer to the beach if you tried! The views from the back deck and master balcony were gorgeous. The communication between the host and I was great, they were quick to respond. The house was spacious, plenty if closest space. The kitchen could use a remodel but we did the virtual walk through before we arrived so we knew exactly what we were getting. The location was close enough to everything fun while being just far enough away for peace and quiet. We all have a fantastic time and would highly recommend the place.

We greatly enjoyed our time at Dune Our Thing. The location cannot be topped. Being within sight and earshot of the beach was such a delight. Waking up with only the beach and water between us and the ocean sunrise was really amazing. Perhaps it was the time of year we visited but we were especially pleased with how much space we had on the beach just outside the condo (and peace and quiet within it), and we were five minutes from the Kure Beach pier to the north, and Fort Fisher, Fort Fisher Recreation Area, and the NC Aquarium to the south. We were pleased also that the place was so kid-friendly for our toddlers. We would recommend Dune Our Thing to other travelers!

We enjoyed the condo and its amazing view of the beach. Right on the sand. The condo had everything we needed for our long weekend trip. Just a short walk to the rec center. It’s not far from local eateries, but we drove every time. We enjoyed Ocean View for breakfast and brunch. We would stay here again.

Instead of buying Christmas presents for the family this year we decided we would just rent a place for a week and all hang out together. After some searching we decided on Dune Our Thing. It looked good in the ad but you never know until you get there. It turned out it just perfect for our family. My wife and I took the master suite. We listened to the waves at night and watched the sun rise over the ocean in the morning. Everyone else was pleased with their own rooms and bathrooms as well. The kitchen was very well stocked and met all our needs. The table accommodated us all for dinner and board games. It was a treat to walk out the door and onto the beach in a couple of minutes. We seemed isolated with the beach essentially to ourselves yet were just a couple of miles to stores, restaurants and the aquarium. We all had a wonderful time for about what we would have all spent on presents. Presents are often forgotten but this week at the beach with our family will be remembered forever.

The owners were wonderful, the property was clean. I loved this condo. The 2nd floor balcony view is the best I have ever had on Kure/ Carolina Beach. You are sleeping on the ON THE BEACH. The first floor balcony is great as well. It is unreal how close you are to the water. Love the layout, and the bed and bath arrangements. Perfect area of the island. Low traffic, awesome beach access. I hope to stay at this same condo again in the future.

This place was great for our family vacation to Kure Beach. You couldn't be closer to the beach, and there was plenty of room for 5 people. My son was so impressed that he had his very own bathroom! The downstairs bedroom does take in quite a bit of light from the street. Consistent with other reviews, we had to put up towels to get it somewhat dark for sleeping. This would be a very easy fix with blackout curtains. The owners were excellent communicators before and during the trip - I asked if the pots and pans had been replaced after reading several reviews, and they had been. This made packing and planning for meals easier!

This is an amazing location when it comes to NC Beaches. Much more private and personal here than at a beach like Mrytle. Itrip was an amazing hostess. Very informative, responses were quick. If we needed they could provide they came through & they did everything to help make it memorable. The cellular signal was iffy in general on the coast so if your dependent on wifi maybe not your speed. To me it was a needed getaway for me and the kids though so it wasn't a big deal for us. The master bedroom needs a new mattress. It's a little worn but not in a uncomfortable way. Other than that this place is fabulous. There is so much to do in the area too. They were helpful on suggestions. We will be back!

Staying at Dune Our Thing in Kure Beach, NC, was good for my family and me. First, communication with the rental company was excellent, even when we had a minor issue operating the blinds. The house was clean upon arrival and stocked with the basics, as noted in the email sent to us before arrival. The house was the perfect size for my guests and me to have ample space when we needed it and space to commune together. The two balconies looking directly onto the beach were a hit for everyone. The house was also comfortable, with the exception of the mattresses in the bedroom on the first floor and the master bedroom; they definitely need to be replaced. The location of the beach house allows for quick access to the beach, nearby dining spots, and grocery stores. Although we did not experience the fitness center, we did enjoy the community pool and the nearby aquarium. In addition to replacing the mattresses, my other suggestion would be for the rental company to explain how to operate the blinds to let those unfamiliar and familiar with pull-down/cordless blinds know that it's OK to give them a stronger pull than expected.

This was the perfect rental for 3 families including kids. It was very clean with all kitchen stuff that we were needed. Very beautiful view of ocean. Its a short walk to the beach. iTrip provided many recommendations for local spots. Everything was perfect. I have no complaints except wifi was not available in couple of bedrooms otherwise best condo for summer vacation. We will definitely be back to stay here again!

Everything was wonderful at this condo. We had an extended stay so the only things I would add would be more books, towels, kitchen dish cloths, and cook ware - new pots and pans and bakeware in the kitchen would go a long way. But we are that rare family that cooks almost 3 meals a day, everyday. That was very minor but over all the accommodations were very nice. The beds were comfortable. The extra fans provided were nice. The patio furniture and umbrella came in handy. Washer and dryer worked great and we loved having the extendable shower head in the bathrooms for cleaning off our sandy kiddos. Note: we had a car but you could stay here without a car if need be. We often rode our bikes on adventures. The accommodations were appropriate for small children and elderly grandparents. Closeness to the ocean walkway was super helpful and loved having a hose to spray off there.

This place is amazing and beautiful! We had a wonderful stay and everything was greatly sanitized and clean. We would totally recommend this place to anyone who loves having an oceanfront view! Our only problems was that one of the bed that was slept on makes a lot of noises due to the box spring and one of the bathroom shower faucet was not working properly. However, we had a great stay and everything else was working just fine. We would totally come back again!

We loved our stay at dune our thing. The location was perfect and so convenient to the beach. Our kids loved the indoor pool and we enjoyed every meal on the deck with the amazing beachfront view. Upon arrival we encountered several cockroaches. The property manager had someone come next day to address this and it wasn’t an issue after that. I highly recommend this property!

We had a great stay at this condo! It is exactly what it says, no frills, but clean and comfortable! It would be nice to have TVs in the extra bedrooms but that is my only compliant. The rental company - iTrip NC - was AMAZING! I was nervous to rent through them because I've never used them before, but their price was better so went with it. They were very responsive to any of our needs and easy to contact!

We had a great stay at Dune Our Thing. The location is great - not right in the middle of the action (which is good, in my opinion!), close to tons of restaurants, right on the beach, and convenient pool access. We spent a lot of time at the pool and beach, and also visited the Battleship in Wilmington and the NC Aquarium at Fort Fisher. The condo was a perfect fit for our family of 5.

Such an awesome stay! The location was perfect! We enjoyed sun rises and breakfasts on the deck. We loved walking on the beach. There were a variety of activities from playing on the beach with the kids to exploring the fort and kayaking. While it was away from the center of town the restaurants were within 5 minutes away. The house worked perfect. We had plenty of room to be together at times and to have space to just relax. The kitchen had all we needed to make meals. When we had needs or questions we had no problem getting the answers we needed. We will definitely stay here again!

Lovely waterfront home. It was lovely to wake up every morning and seeing the ocean right outside the windows and hearing the soothing sounds of the crashing waves falling asleep every night. Great location, quiet town but plenty to do. Close to restaurants, nightlife, hikes, and the ferry. Spacious and clean, plenty of room for a large family. My wife and I can’t wait to get back!

We had a fantastic vacay at Kure beach, NC- Thanks to Madison and crew! We were a family of 4 so, this house was more than big enough- I think 6-7 folks would be perfect! All the amenities worked and it was very clean, I loved the fact that all the rooms were very sterile- so it brought the family toghether each night to living space and kitchen! We played board games every nite! Great location, soft sands, nice and quite beach/ waves! I may have been lucky but, house was well stocked with cleaning supplies and essentials! Definitely recommend! Thanks Madison and crew!

We had a great time. The I trip contact lady was wonderful. She responded in a reasonable amount of time. The house could use a good overhauling. All of the vents were full of dust. The living room carpet needs washed and the showers and walls could all use a good wash down. The basic cleaning was all done.

itrip vacations were great. Very responsive and easy to reach. Unfortunately our rental property wasn't very high quality but Madison was very helpful with other questions that we had. I do think it would have been nice if they'd let us know that the pools wouldn't be open when I had specifically inquired about Covid 19 impacts. That was disappointing. Beach was great!

Beach Access-5 stars although it would be nice to have a ramp access to walk the coolers back and forth to the beach. Also is not ADA standard. Location - 5 stars. Easy access to all attractions and restaurants. Pool Access- 5 stars however there are not enough chairs to accommodate all the families that all come to the pool in the afternoon. Maintenance - 5 stars. When we got there the sink in the bathroom downstairs was broken and there was no cable. The maintenance guy was quick to respond and resolved the issues quickly. The condo - 3 stars. The deck is in bad need of repair. Several boards are not even attached and are warped and are a safety hazard. The amount of towels provided for each guest is ridiculous. We actually used more water to wash them every other day so that we could use them. There is an opening in the master bedroom upstairs where it appears there was a plumbing issue and it has never been patched leaving the plumbing exposed. The curtains were not all the way on the rods causing the rooms to look unkempt. The carpet needs cleaned. The condo could use a good coat of paint as well as the front door. The only tv with cable is downstairs. If I were an owner I would want the condo to be pristine and welcoming. The pictures on the website do not actually depict the shape of the condo. We loved Kure Beach and will be back!

The condo was just painted this year (2109) and as you can see the wear and tear from the guests can be rough at times. We will take all your feedback and use it to create a better experience for the next guest. iTrip does send out several emails and indicates specifically what is included with each rental. iTrip sets out only 1 set of towels per guest, and a starter kit for paper products, it is up to the guest to bring more if needed. This place was lovely. Spotlessly clean when we checked in (early -thank you!). There were a few things. Not enough to ruin my trip but... I booked this place in March and there was a note that the deck furniture was to be replaced. I assumed it was for this summer season. It was not. Deck furniture is old, wooden and incredibly uncomfortable. Same as the plastic Adirondack chairs in the upper deck. Also a few minor things... living with 7-10 other people for a week even though we were not obligated to clean it by Wednesday I had to run out and buy some cleaning supplies. A broom or a Dustbuster would have been helpful and available toilet brush in all baths too. With that being said the place was decorated pretty comfy chairs and lots of seating beds were good and the view was spectacular! We also used a coupon iTrip provided for NC paddle which was great. I would give this place 5 stars but for the deck furniture. We spent a lot of time out there and that was disappointing. So 4 stars. Would definitely return and thank you to iTrip for working with us the early check in was an absolute Godsend after 11 hours on the road

We enjoyed our trip to Kure and our stay in Dune our thing. The size of the property was perfect for 1 or 2 families. The unit was very clean, well stocked with kitchen items and the location and access to the beach was prime! We would definitely recommend this property to the right group. A few recommedations to up the attractibility of this property would include updates made to the kitchen and living room furniture. While very clean, the style was quite dated and immediately noticeable. The washer and dryer, while functional, were very small and needed some TLC to start. We would also recommend some basic attention to the decks and sliding glass doors. That said, these are cosmetic items. The location, attention to detail from the itrip staff and amenities make this a great unit for a week on the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at Dune Our Thing! The condo has a beautiful ocean view and was so close to both beach access and the pool! There were a couple things that need some attention though like loose outlets (master bath especially), loose boards on the deck, and a sliding door that progressively got harder to open and close. None the less, the condo was inviting and perfect for a week at the beach!

Wonderful location! Out of the busy but still close enough to restaurants and the pier. Condo was spacious and as shown in the pictures. As per other reviews, plumbing could use some updating especially the showers. It is noted that there is a washer and dryer in this condo. HOWEVER it is not noted that this is a stack-able unit. The washer works fine but will only hold 2 bath towels with a hand towel or two at a time. The dryer runs but does not dry. Takes 3 cycles to dry the "two towel" load. This caused major issues since there were 2 adults and 5 kids staying for the week. The amenities should be noted that this is a stack-able very small washer and dryer and to bring extra beach towels. We would love to visit on a yearly basis but unfortunately due to the washer and dryer we will have to choose another condo. I would only recommend this condo for someone who would not need to wash towels during their stay. Hopefully the dryer can be fixed soon.

Enjoyed our stayed at Dune Our Thing Condo in May 2018. Right on the beach at a quiet location. Not in a busy area but those areas are close by. This is our second year staying. Condo is always clean and the iTrips staff are great. One of the nicest features is comfortable living room furniture that seats the number of guests using the condo. Highly recommend.

We had a nice weekend here. The condo is right on the water as advertised, with TWO decks, covered parking and easy access to the beach. We agree with previous posters that the condo is a bit outdated (plumbing is functional but old). But it was clean and comfortable. We loved that they provided linens and towels, and they even provided things like dish soap, kitchen towels, paper towels, laundry detergent, things you normally have to lug yourself. The location from the condo is great, we took the ferry to Southport for a wonderful day, and were close to Carolina Beach to go to the pier and get food at the Veggie Wagon and Vinny's. In the mornings and evenings we sat on the porch and listened to the waves, watching the birds. Two things I would recommend however -- the sliding door is heavy and hard to open! I would suggest replacing it, and adding a screen. Also, it would have helped us if the Fort Fisher street address was NOT provided, it confused us when we were trying to find the condo. But otherwise it was a great trip.

We booked this apt because of its location on the beach. It has been quiet and restful just as we hoped it would be. We wanted a balcony; we got 2! We wanted spacious; it was more than enough. Stayed in Kure Beach. Rental process was very convenient. Condo was equipped exactly as described. It was extremely clean. We had an issue with the air conditioner our last day. We reported it and it was fixed promptly. The response and the customer service was outstanding. We were very pleased with the entire experience. Our rental was fantastic and Elisa and ITrip were awesome and very accommodating during our stay. We just came down for a 4 day long weekend to enjoy the beautiful beach of Kure Beach. Dune Our Thing was the perfect place to stay! Great views, clean and welcoming. The boardwalk to the beach is super close and convenient. This place has a very homey feel and has everything we needed. The management was very friendly and helpful! We had kids of all ages and they loved everything about it! Great family place but perfect for anyone!
