Lorraine’s Beach Cottage is a charming 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom beach home just one block from the beautiful shores of Kure Beach! Conveniently located near the Kure Beach Pier, this welcoming retreat combines coastal charm with thoughtful updates and space for the whole family to relax and enjoy their beach getaway.

Step inside to find an open-concept living area filled with natural light and designed with comfort in mind. The ranch-style layout means no stairs to climb, making it easy for everyone to enjoy the home. The living room offers a Smart TV, games, and a selection of books for a little beachside reading. There’s room for everyone at mealtime, with indoor dining for six and additional seating for six on the patio. Little ones have their own space with children’s toys, books, and a table with seating for four.

The three bedrooms offer plenty of storage and space to unwind after a day in the sun. The primary bedroom features a king bed, a chair that converts to a twin bed, and a private ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom also has a king bed, while the third bedroom includes a full bed, Smart TV, and dedicated desk space. A second full bathroom serves the rest of the home. Fresh linens and towels are included with the cleaning fee.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. Enjoy eating at the counter, the dining table, or head out to the spacious screened-in porch for a relaxing evening. With a gas grill ready for family cookouts, the porch is a wonderful spot to enjoy the coastal breeze. A large driveway with off-street parking adds even more convenience to your stay. With its easy one-level layout, family-friendly touches, and location just a short stroll from the beach, Lorraine’s is a lovely home base for making lasting beach memories!

This property also features a separate 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit on the opposite side of the garage, which is not included in this listing. The two units have no shared spaces, allowing each to enjoy their own privacy. Traveling with a larger group? Renting both units is a great way to enjoy additional space while staying together! -This is a DOG FRIENDLY HOME: A non-refundable Pet Fee of $250 will be added to your rental if you choose to bring your dog. The Pet Fee is $350 for 2 dogs. Contact us regarding dog rules at the beach.

-Maximum Occupancy: 7 Occupants - Children must be counted within the maximum occupancy unless they are under the age of two (2) and are sleeping in a crib.

-Tenant Requirements: Tenant stated on the Agreement/Booking must be at least twenty-five (25) years of age, and acknowledge that they will occupy the Property during the entire tenancy.

-Manager and owner of the rental property are not responsible for citations received while staying at the property.

-Be respectful of the house and contents - it is someone's home. Respect the neighbors and neighborhood.

-No events or parties. If it is determined that a party/event is taking place at property, management has the right to evict tenants and guests with no refund.

-If determined that a party took place on any of the nights reserved, reservation guest will be charged $500, no exceptions.

-No uninvited guests without permission.

iTrip NC Beaches Cancellation Policy

Cancellation 60 days or more before your stay will receive a refund less the cancellation fee of $350. Cancellation 60 days or less before your stay will not receive a refund unless the same dates are re-booked. If that occurs you will receive a refund less the cancellation fee of $350. Additional details with regards to cancellation policies and procedures may be found in Section #15 of the Rental Agreement as provided at checkout.

Outside of Airbnb rules and restrictions, all guests will have to agree to the iTrip Vacations NC Beaches Vacation Rental Agreement

Registered Guests must be 25 years or age or older
Bookings created by guests under 25 years of age will be cancelled without refund
Maximum Occupancy: Each property’s maximum occupancy is stated within the Agreement and located in the Property Description; If at any given time, the maximum occupancy is exceeded, the tenant will be in material breach of the lease and grounds for expedited eviction will apply in addition to a fine.

We loved our stay at Lorraine’s Beach Cottage! There was plenty of room for everyone, and the screened-in porch was a lovely place to relax and pet friendly area, our grand dog loved the open concept. The location was very convenient and within walking distance of the Kure Beach Pier and several restaurants. The beds were comfortable, and everything was clean, fresh, and decorated with the perfect beachy feel. The large kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need and even a gas grill which was so convenient. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again!

This was our 5-6 time staying at this location. It is by far our favorite. There was plenty of room for our 6 adults and a toddler. The kitchen was adequately stocked for the meals that we prepared. The ice maker was definitely nice as we went to the beach every day carrying a cooler. The beds were comfortable, linens clean and having a washer and dryer was a real positive. My son was a little disappointed that the hammock was no longer on the porch but he still had a great time. The porch was a great place to have our morning coffee. The 1 block walk to the pier/beach was wonderful! We will definitely be staying here again!!

We absolutely loved our stay!! This rental is in the perfect spot - 5 minute walk to the beach/pier and many restaurants! Rental came with everything and more, beach chairs, a grill, etc - thoroughly stocked kitchen! Great air conditioning, and porch to hang out in with fun lights! We would highly recommend!! Lorraine's Beach Cottage knocked it out! This home is super clean, kitchen is well stocked for any cooking/grilling you want to do. They have all types of games and puzzles. We enjoyed our visit! Literally across the street from the beach! Screened in porch was nice in the evening.

Lorraine's Cottage had plenty of room for our family of four, and the kitchen was well-stocked with all the cookware we needed. We loved having the screened porch and the location was fantastic, with super close beach access and restaurants and a coffee shop within walking distance. We would definitely stay again.

I can’t say enough good things about this location. Last year we stayed in the house attached to this one. We enjoyed both but this one slightly more as our kids have gotten bigger. The location is perfect! One block from the beach, restaurants, pier, and just a short drive to Carolina beach for an adventure. House very stocked and accommodating!

Wow! Can’t say enough good things about Lorraine’s Beach Cottage! It’s clean, beautifully decorated and has everything you would put in your own beach house! From a screened-in porch with a table and chairs and a hammock to a children’s play corner and a huge, well stocked kitchen with plenty of room for the family to hang out. It is conveniently located - it’s just a short block from the beach and near plenty of restaurants and activities. The spacious driveway was great especially for loading and unloading the car. Owner and property management are top notch! Highly recommended!!!

Our stay at Lorraine’s Beach Cottage was perfect! The location is very convenient to entertainment, the beach, convenience store, etc. The home is very clean and well kept. Most homes have limited and small parking, but the drive way was large enough for all vehicles and off the street to not worry about being hit. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to feel at home. We will definitely be coming back and recommending Lorraine’s to everyone.

Perfect vacation cottage for a family or small group of friends/couples. Very clean. Accommodates for every need. Kitchen is spacious and very well stocked. Screened in patio area with a comfortable hammock for enjoying peaceful evenings. Very much worth the cost for a relaxing and enjoyable cation! Highly recommend this cottage for anyone. We booked Loraines Beach Cottage for a girls trip and it was perfect. Very clean and the beds were very comfortable. All necessities were provided down to a wagon, chairs, and coolers for the beach!! We are already talking about going back again next year. Kure Brach is a great place!!! Highly recommend!!!

We had a great time at Lorraine's Beach Cottage. It was the best equipped place we've stayed in. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was all in great shape. The children's corner was great. We were really able to entertain my granddaughter on the many rainy days we were unfortunate to experience. Really appreciated being able to bring our dogs. Great proximity to the beach. In spite of the rain we had fun!

A part of me doesn’t want y’all to know how amazing this place is because then it might be booked up when we want to come back ha! Lorraine’s Beach Cottage was PERFECT. Let’s talk location first. The quickest walk to the beach, the sweetest playground, cute local restaurants and ice cream and coffee shops. We were there the 4th of July week and expected it to be crowded, but we always got a spot on the beach with a direct view of the water and plenty of space to spread out all the things you need on the beach with a 1.5 and 3.5 year old. Super short driving distance to the coolest aquarium and in the other direction, Carolina Beach which had a much busier feel, but so many things to do and places to eat (all listed in Lorraine’s recommendation guide which is so handy!) The house itself was perfect. Plenty of space for my family of 4. My kids loved the little play area in the living room with a cute little table and lots of books, puzzles, blocks, and coloring books. The beds were so comfortable. The sheets and towels smelled so clean and fresh. The living room had the coolest little vibe to it with the cute white brick fireplace and built in bookshelves for me and my husband to bust a chill post kids bedtime and watch some Netflix and drink wine. The kitchen had all the essentials but I also 10/10 recommended just doing a Publix delivery with lots of premade stuff like we did. The host was so helpful and checked in on us frequently before our trip to make sure we had all we need prep wise. In short, it was amazing. We will be back and can’t imagine going on any other beach trip that isn’t Kure Beach and staying at Lorraine’s Beach Cottage.

We had a lovely time at the cottage, the setup was very comfortable, and the kids area was really appreciated! We loved the porch and hammock , and spent time both in and out! All bedrooms were really comfortable, and the kitchen space was great, we cooked a few nights, and the work space was really comfortable . The only suggestion I have is that a full length mirror be placed somewhere in the main house, and I would note that I believe the water discolors items, I laundered a linen blouse that came out discolored, I am sure it will wash out, but you may want to note this near the washer. On that note, all signage throughout the house and info in the book was really appreciated ! As well, response time regarding any issue sent via text was very quick and appreciated as well!
