Washashore is an inviting 3-bedroom, 3-bath beachfront retreat located on Bald Head Island’s scenic South Beach. With walls of windows throughout, this one-level home is filled with natural light and sweeping ocean views from the kitchen, dining area, and living room. Step outside onto the spacious wrap-around deck to soak in salty breezes, enjoy sunset skies, or simply relax to the sound of the waves. Its central island location means you’re just a short golf cart ride from the harbor, Maritime Market, and the Bald Head Island Club.
Thoughtfully equipped for easy beach living, Washashore provides everything you need for a day by the ocean, including beach chairs, toys, and a large cooler. The shaded ground-level area offers additional space to relax, store gear, or prep for your beach adventures, making coming and going a breeze.
Inside, the open floor plan creates a welcoming space for gathering and unwinding. The home has been tastefully updated with fresh furnishings, updated flooring, new carpeting, paint, and HD flat-screen TVs throughout. The bedroom layout is ideal for one or two families, with each bedroom featuring its own private bathroom. The third bedroom offers flexible sleeping arrangements with a king bed plus a twin with trundle—perfect for adults or kids alike.
If you've never been to Bald Head Island, you're in for a real treat. You'll love driving the well kept golf carts or bicycling along the beach road or through the lush Maritime Forest. Visit Old Baldy, the oldest lighthouse in North Carolina, and learn about the Island's pirate and Civil War history. Join the Conservancy and take a turtle walk where you might see a loggerhead turtle lay her eggs or watch a nest hatch.
Fresh linens and towels are included in the cleaning fee.

-Bald Head Island Club Lifestyle Memberships are available for purchase. Golf access is available for extra fees with the Membership; Please keep in mind the BHI CLUB is now capping registration for their guest memberships. If you wish to attend the club please apply ASAP. Please visit the BHI Club website to review their NEW rules & fees. Keep in mind there are new rules regarding what days you can attend the club and what activities guest members can use. Contact the club directly with questions. We do not control club rates, rules, or restrictions. No discount or refund will be provided if club membership is restricted or denied.

-Please make yourself aware of our cancellation policy. Insurance is highly recommended.
-Maximum Occupancy: 8 Occupants - Children must be counted within the maximum occupancy unless they are under the age of two (2) and are sleeping in a crib.
-Tenant Requirements: Tenant stated on the Agreement/Booking must be at least twenty-five (25) years of age, and acknowledge that they will occupy the Property during the entire tenancy.
-Washashore is a no frills oceanfront property with incredible views, a huge deck and a fantastic location. It is not a luxury home, and the rate reflects that. Please note that refunds aren’t issued for expectations of higher-end features or finishes.
-Manager and owner of the rental property are not responsible for citations received while staying at the property.
-Be respectful of the house and contents - it is someone's home. Respect the neighbors and neighborhood.
-No events or parties- If determined that a party/event is taking place at property, management has the right to evict tenants and guests with no refund given.
-If determined that a party took place on any of the nights reserved, reservation guest will be charged $500, no exceptions!
-No uninvited guests without permission.
-Shoals Club is not included with the rental of this home.

- Outside of Airbnb rules and restrictions, all guests will have to agree to the iTrip Vacations NC Beaches Vacation Rental Agreement
