Welcome to the Retreat at the Shores at Stillwater, perfectly located between Deer Valley East Village and Jordanelle Reservoir. Two full kitchens and two living rooms on separate levels let two families share the home without living on top of each other.

Built for two families or a multigenerational group who want comfortable private bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, separate kitchens, and living rooms for each sub-group. The main-level primary suite is perfect for guests who prefer to avoid stairs.

Layout and Sleeping

The home comfortably sleeps twelve across four king suites. The main-level primary suite has a fireplace and an en-suite with dual vanities, a walk-in shower, and a jetted tub; a second king suite (downstairs) also has a fireplace. Two king suites sit on the upper level and a fourth on the lower level. The lounge level adds a full-over-queen bunk bed that sleeps four, best for children or teens rather than four adults. Bathrooms total four and a half, all four kings en-suite plus a powder room. Parking is available for up to 3 cars, including a two-car garage and driveway parking.

The Home

The two-story great room is the center of the house: double-height ceilings open to the loft above, a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, and a wall of windows facing Deer Valley and the Jordanelle. The fully equipped kitchen features a six-burner Wolf range, Sub-Zero refrigerator, two dishwashers, and custom cabinetry that easily handles a holiday dinner or a private chef. The dining table seats ten with additional seating at the nearby breakfast bar. The lower lounge level can serve as a separate apartment with its own full kitchen, a second living room with a fireplace, a laundry room, and direct access to the hot tub.

Location and Access

The Shores at Stillwater is located just off the Mayflower (Deer Valley East) exit off Highway 40. Deer Valley East Village is less than two miles away. In winter, the complimentary Mountain Mover shuttle runs on demand to the East Village base; rides can be requested through the app. Jordanelle Marina is a two-minute drive in the other direction, Park City Main Street is about ten minutes away, and Salt Lake City International Airport is roughly forty minutes away. A vehicle is recommended to fully enjoy the area.

Seasonal Notes

Winter: Less than 5 minutes to Skiing at Deer Valley East, four fireplaces, and a private hot tub await you after a day of mountain adventures.

Summer: Jordanelle Marina is a two-minute drive from boating and paddleboarding, with reservoir trails and biking nearby.

Is this home ski-in/ski-out?

No, but ski access is very easy since Deer Valley East Village is less than a 5-minute drive away. The Mountain Mover shuttle is a complimentary, on-demand ski shuttle that drops guests off right at the entrance.

How many adult couples can stay comfortably?

Four. Each king suite has access to a bathroom. The home is also a good fit for friend groups and corporate retreats.

Is parking easy?

Yes. Parking covers up to three cars. There is a two-car garage plus some room in the driveway. No street parking is required.

Complimentary Ski Shuttle Service | Mountain Mover

What Is Mountain Mover?
Mountain Mover is a complimentary winter shuttle service available to guests staying in select Deer Valley East / Jordanelle area communities. It provides scheduled transportation to Deer Valley East Village skiing, helping reduce the need to drive on ski days.
Who Can Use It?
Mountain Mover is available only to our guests staying in communities currently served by the program in the Deer Valley East area. Mountain Mover can be used during the winter ski season.

All properties and homes are non-smoking. 

Parking rules must be followed. The city is very generous with its parking tickets and towing.

Ski 'N See Rentals

We utilized the "free rental" for the week for a snowboard. The rest of the group rented from Ski Haus which was close in proximity to our vacation home. The Ski 'n See rentals were much cheaper but of lower quality and very chipped and not waxed. You get what you pay for. I will say that the courtesy delivery and pick up was extremely nice and the gentlemen that coordinated and picked up was very nice and accomodating.

We had a wonderful ski and spa vacation. The property was amazing and well laid out for multiple couples or a large family. The hot tub at the end of skiing was perfect. The comfy fireplaces were so relaxing. We also enjoyed the privacy of each room having its own bathroom. The kitchen had all the appliances you would need - even a large crockpot to make dinner and let it cook away while we played during the day. We will stay again!

Fun Family Christmas Adventure!

We had such a great time on our family’s early Christmas trip. The condo was perfect for our large family. The two kitchens and living rooms were great for spreading out but large enough for time together. Beds were super comfy and bathrooms were great. Pros: The home is truly a gem, exuding warmth and coziness. The high standard of cleanliness is a testament to your dedication- every area was spotless, and the hot tub was a fantastic addition! We were grateful for the extra towels in the basement for the hot tub and the spacious, clean garage for our vehicles. The fireplaces and four king-size beds were perfect for our group of four adult couples. The itrip bathroom package of toiletries was a pleasant surprise, and we greatly appreciated the good communication during our stay on the trip. Cons: The upstairs refrigerator was out of service; the tape on the refrigerator said that, as of 02/09/25, it was not working. We should have been informed before our stay and given the option to stay at another property, but we were not. While this might seem a minor inconvenience for some, it was an issue for the diabetic in our group, who had to go down three levels to access insulin multiple times a day. Additionally, this meant we had no ice for our beverages during the stay; we had to go out and purchase a bag and keep it downstairs. This made it extremely difficult to cook meals together, such as morning coffee (creamer and cream cheese, beverages, eggs, and insulin for diabetics). Not only did we have to keep running up and down stairs, but we continued to disturb the couple staying in the basement. - Only two rooms had washcloths, so we had to go out and purchase something for the two couples to wash our bodies. The lack of washcloths in all rooms was quite inconvenient, and it would be helpful if all rooms were equipped with washcloths to avoid such inconveniences in the future. We suggest that the property owner consider these issues and make necessary improvements to enhance the guest experience.

Everything went great! The house was nice and roomy. We needed to call maintenance a couple of times but they got right back to us and we resolve our issues. The only thing I would suggest is to stock more of foil, saranwrap, paper towels etc. We've just rented other places that had all of this and it was nice.

Great home, maintained well and clean. We enjoyed the location. Lots of paths for walking, easy access to the highway, skiing and the lake. My only complaint is that the video does not match the home correctly- we were under the impression that it had more bunks (which had us changing sleeping plans upon arriving!) and possibly even a community pool, which it does not. Quick communication when needed which was helpful.
