San Carlos 1408 is a two-bedroom, two-bath, professionally decorated condo with an incredible Gulf-front view from the 14th floor.

• Access to the balcony is from the living room and primary bedroom

• New wood tile flooring is in the bedrooms and living room. There is ceramic tile throughout the rest of the unit.

• The kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you need in your home away from home, including beautiful granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The dining room table seats four, and there are two bar stools for additional seating.

• The living area has a sofa sleeper

• The primary bedroom has a king-size bed. The attached bathroom has been updated with a tiled walk-in shower and a soaking tub.

• The second bedroom has a queen-size bed

• There is also a folding crib in the unit for your convenience

• Full-size washer and dryer are inside the unit

***This property has been designated as a 'No Smoking' property, including each unit's balcony. There is a designated smoking area at the BBQ area.***

• No waiting in long lines for check-in or check-out with keyless entry!

• Maximum of two cars allowed. Parking passes are to be purchased at the front desk on floor 3 for $50 each plus tax.

• Per the San Carlos HOA: The listed guest on any San Carlos unit rental reservation must be at least twenty-five (25) years of age and physically present for the entire duration of contracted stay. Should a violation of this rule be determined by San Carlos management, immediate eviction is hereby mandated by the San Carlos Board of Directors.

$400 FREE Activities Daily-Guests will receive one complimentary admission to our select activities per day. You can go to every one of these activities every day, and one person will be free per day. Additional guests will pay full price. Admissions are non-cumulative and non-transferable. Unused admissions expire daily.

So yes, you may choose to go fishing in the morning (one person is free), then golf at lunch (one person is free), and then go to the zoo that afternoon (one person is free). Or you may choose to go to the zoo in the morning with the kids (one person is free), and your husband can play golf (one person is free) and then meet that afternoon to go on the dolphin cruise (one person is free.) You may do some or all of these select activities every day, and one of your parties is free every day.

These activities are yours to use if you choose to do so at no additional cost or obligation.

We had a wonderful time recently in Gulf Shores, Alabama and stayed at a lovely condo in the San Carlos complex. The amenities were plentiful at this property, although we didn't take advantage of many, doe to being there for a major music event. The security at this condo complex is more than adequate and I felt a bit as if there were more than enough rules, but the condo itself was lovely. In my home state of Texas, many VRBO properties have large containers of bath soap, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Many also provide beach towels for their tenants. My only suggestion would be that for the price, a few more rolls of toilet paper, trash bags, coffee filters, etc. could be provided. Maybe this region handles rentals differently..... The condo was furnished very nicely and the kitchen was well-stocked for cooking. The washer/ dryer was a help.

I was very pleased with this condo! We make an "Old Gals" trip every year to Gulf Shores and have stayed in several different condos. This unit was exceptionally clean and updated. The property management group was very easy to deal with. We will be requesting this unit in the future!

This was great trip! Easy planning, communication and a great stay at San Carlos 1408. I would definitely book this condo again! Great location, very clean and nice decor with modern appliances. I loved being able to walk to most places we went! Beach was not overcrowded even on the holiday. It was a great time!

Very nice place to stay. Definitely would come back again, and stay at the same unit. When you arrive, they have several parking spaces where you unload/load car. If you need something to carry all your stuff in, they have a grocery cart to use, located on 1st floor by Exit door. Unit 1408 - loved that they had a walk-in shower & whirlpool garden tub. 2 bedrooms, 2 bath, sofa/bed to sleep on. Keurig Coffee pod & reg. Coffee machine combo. If, you plan on cooking, I suggest you bring 1 or 2 skillets (they have skillets -old), and bring your seasonings. There are Plenty of Dishes, pots, and utensils. Need Paper Plates, & bowls for snacks. You will need trash bags, dishwasher tabs/liquid, paper towels, Napkins, toilet paper. Washing detergent. Shampoo, hair products. There's a Walmart, Dollar General, & Rouses Market close by. Unit has a hair dryer. They have closets, NO HANGERS. They have dressers to put clothes in. If, you are cold natured bring some throws. Large balcony with patio furniture- bench glider, 4 nice chairs, bistro table, and end table/ottoman. Both bed mattresses were good to sleep on. Beautiful view of the beach. Nice pool. Sauna & fitness room on 3rd floor. Must get parking passes when you arrive which is on 3rd floor. The TV is Dish Network, you can only watch few channels. There's 3 TV's. They have DVD Players. Bring DVDS if you plan on watching movies. No smart TV. No need for TV, you have a beautiful view of the beach, very relaxing. *NOTE* Last day to checkout the CODE quit working at NINE. Thank goodness my sister was still in condo to let me in. We were in the middle of loading our car. Checkout Time was at 10. Other than that I loved every minute of my stay. Thanks

My family and I took a quick trip to Gulf Shores just to get away. We have not stopped talking about our trip or our stay at 1408 San Carlos. The condo was just as it was pictured and clean. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. There was a display on the counter welcoming us to the condo. We had everything we needed to feel as if we hadn't even left home, however I wish I could have taken the view of the ocean back with me. The views at this place is amazing!! There was no congestion on the elevators and the place was always quiet so if you want to work while at the beach you could. We will definitely stay here again!

Great location on the beach side of the highway. Condo was very clean and we had no issues. Your toes hit the sand literally 20 foot from the door of the San Carlos! Close to lots to do and eat.

Been to Gulf Shores 3 times and loved all 3 times. Stayed at Lighthouse twice and Sancarlos 1408. Sancarlos 1408 was our nicest place yet. Furnishings were great, king mattress was top notch. Needs more blankets for sofa bed. Refrigerator didn’t get real cold,but did the job. Would definitely book again though. Cleaning crews need to clean unit little more as dust was heavy on tv armoire in master bedroom

Great view and a beautiful condo....just need a broom dustpan and at least 1 garbage bag per can per day as well as dishwasher tablets and tissue. But all in all it was 5 star....thanks

We loved SC 1408!! The unit was fully stocked with all we needed, very clean and comfortable. I loved the beach theme decorations - it made the vibe fit the beautiful scene of the ocean. The balcony was also spacious and well furnished. We love the lcoation of the San Carlos to allow walking to the local market, Hang Out and Pink Pony Pub. Park the car, put on the flip flops and enjoy a week of fun and sun! We also didn't know we couldn't park our motorhome across the road in the larger lot. Security kindly let us know and gave us 24 hours to find a parking location. Itrip allowed us to park off site for a weekly rate of $25. We appreciated the kind and helpful response to our error.

the TV gave us some trouble, but you came and fixed. after she left we couldnt turn it off so we just had to manually turn on and off. The shower RINGS in the guest bath need changed out.. they are all rusty and gross and the shower head in the master bath could be changed out.. it wasnt great. The shower in the master could be deeped cleaned too.. the grout is kinda gross. The deck could be powerwashed or tiled for that matter and would make it feel so much cleaner. even a few indoor outdoor rugs to cover spots you cant remove would make it look better and not cost very much to do that. Other than those few things it was a good unit

Condo was nicely decorated, spacious, and clean. It was very close to the beach and just a short walking distance. The only negatives were parking is limited but we were always able to find a spot. Also, the pans and cooking utensils in the kitchen are pretty beat up. If you plan to cook a lot you may want to bring your own.

San Carlos is located perfectly for ease of access and enjoying the Gulf Shores! You are within walking distance to several of the area's hang outs including The Hang Out, Pink Ponie, Sea and Suds, Mike's, shopping, and more. Beach access is on point as well. We were in unit 1408; excellent beach front condo, absulutely beautiful beach views, clean, updated, beautifully decorated, comfy and cozy! Our only complaint would be the shower water pressure...or lack there of! The San Carlos is definately on our list of would book again!

When we arrived (6pm) everything a mess. Room not cleaned, bed sheets strode everywhere. We called answering service and within 10 minutes we got a call from the manager. Went to dinner and when we came back everything was good. The lady called back several times and reimbursed cleaning fee. She made it right. Very nice lady.

San Carlos 1408 was exceptional. Ocean view was like a postcard. Condo was very clean and so was the entire property. The only negative was A/C unit seemed to go no lower than 74 and was a little warm at night. I will definitively stay again and again!

We stayed in unit 1408 for ten days in March with our 17 year old daughter and her friend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The unit was very clean and nicely decorated. We would definitely stay here again. Just as a suggestion, and extra 4 pieces each of cutlery, bowls, plates etc would be handy so the dishwasher didn't need to be run as frequently, feeling only half full.

We had a lovely time at San Carlos 1408. The unit was clean and well maintained with amazing views of the gulf in a great location. Weather was perfect and beach attendant Forrest was awesome! One suggestion is to have beach towels available for the guests. They are big and bulky and not easy to pack. We do recommend staying at this condo.

We loved the condo! Beautiful view, nice furniture, great balcony, nice kitchen & supplied well. The pots & pans were in terrible condition & should be replaced. Initially our whirlpool tub didn't work, but someone came & it had tripped the circuit breaker & was fixed. Also the coffee pot leaked & was replaced w/ a new coffee pot. No other issues @ all. It was quiet, comfortable bed & linens. Too bad the barbecue grill is so far away from the condo--food cold by the time we got upstairs. We would like to come back next year! We were also locked out @ 9:15--1 hr before we were suppose to be out of the condo. Thank goodness I was still in there & could let my husband back in because we still had things to carry to the car.

The hotel room meet our expectations. I loved the balcony view. The only thing that made our stay uncomfortable was the fact that the guess room AC didn't work as good so we had sleepless nights. I want first time guess to be aware that the entrance to the condo is outside, definitely not an inside entrance like I was expecting. Overall stay was wonderful and the kids enjoyed it.

Thank you for your recent stay! So nice to hear the stay was wonderful and the kids enjoyed it. Typically condominium complexes do have your entering from the outside. You will usually enter in their foyer or lobby for the elevator and once you exit there it is opened air to the units door. However this is not a hotel but a condominium unit, equipped with a full kitchen and washer/dryer. Now that were are aware of a potential issue with the AC in the guest bedroom we will have it evaluated. We value your input and appreciate your feedback!

First time in Gulf Shores after many trips to Destin. This was wonderful! We are a family of 5, including two teenagers and one younger child. This condo was the perfect size! Everything was clean and beds were comfortable. The floor to ceiling Windows overlooking the ocean were amazing! Also loved the zero gravity chairs out on the balcony. We completely enjoyed our stay!

We stayed at the San Carlos because we were in town for my 14 year olds baseball tournament. The San Carlos is conveniently located to many restaurants and is right on the beach. The building is well maintained and they do a great job of keeping all common areas very clean. The condo was much nicer than the pictures online. I highly recommend the San Carlos.

We truly enjoyed our stay at 1408 in San Carlos. The two bedroom was clean, nicely decorated, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed to enjoy our short family getaway. We had a beautiful view of the ocean and beach from the 14th floor. We were lucky enough to see dolphins several times while relaxing on the large balcony. The 3 elevators worked very quickly and we could move from the room to the beach in a matter of minutes, even with a 3 year old. My family and I would definitely stay in 1408 again.

I am very pleased with my stay in San Carlos 1408! I love the fact that you don't have to check in & out. Once booked, they email all the information you needed to know for your stay. At first I'm kind of hesitant to used a website that I never used before but with Itrip I feel comfortable. Thank you for a hassle free Spring Break!

Start out your morning with coffee from the spacious balcony while watching an amazing sunrise. Then spend your day relaxing on the white sand beach. Finally at night WALK to your favorite restaurants for some fresh seafood. Gulf shores and San Carlos 1408 perfect in every way!!!!!!
