Ski-In*/walk-out, spacious three level property, one of the best locations in Steamboat. Walk out your door and you are steps to the gondola and base area! It's that simple. At the end of the day, ski right back to the property.

*Please note: There is no guarantee that there will be enough snow for this unit to be fully ski-in in early ski season (November 15-December 15) and also in late season (after March 20). Snowfall levels vary from year to year.

** If you are booking a stay in April-May or September-November please check with us with to be sure the hot tub is operational during your stay if this is an important part of your vacation. The hot tub occasionally closes for seasonal cleaning etc.

Ironwood is an amazing and rare Steamboat vacation rental location. It is one of only a few properties that offers ski-in/walk-out accommodations. Ironwood also provides something possibly more unique, being only steps to the base area, having the convenience of a short walk to eat and drink.

The unit itself is a spacious, three level townhome, featuring three en suites plus a fourth bedroom with a dedicated bathroom in the hallway. Enter on the main level into a convenient foyer with ample storage including benches, hooks and a closet. It leads you into a roomy and bright open living area offering high ceilings and lots of large windows and natural light. Sit back and relax on the sofa by the river rock gas fireplace and watch a game, movie or show on the large flat screen TV.

The remodeled kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need for cooking a meal and boasts spectacular quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances.

Eat, drink, play a game to do a puzzle at the gorgeous and sizable dining table, which can accommodate eight chairs.

Access the main level balcony from the dining area and enjoy mountain fresh air with a beverage or bite at the outdoor dining table that has four chairs.

Located on the top floor, is the private and generous master suite, highlighted by a king bed, fireplace, Peloton exercise bike and other workout equipment, as well as a flat screen television and lots of natural light. There is plenty of storage with both a dresser and a closet. The en suite bathroom has two vanities and both a large jacuzzi tub and walk-in shower.

The laundry room, with a full sized washer and dryer, is also on the top floor.

Back on the main level is the second en suite offering a queen-size pullout sofa, flat screen TV and full bathroom with a tub shower combo.

The third en suite and fourth bedroom are on the bottom floor.

The en suite has a queen size bed, dresser, closet, as well as a desk and chair. Combined with high speed WiFi, this makes Ironwood 17 a great option for your remote working needs. The en suite bathroom has a tub shower combo.

The fourth bedroom has a twin over queen bunk bed plus a twin trundle bed, along with a closet and dresser. There is bathroom in the hallway that has a walk in shower.

During the summer, you are right there on the biking and hiking trails, near the beach and other activities at the base of the mtn.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

Tenant agrees to leave premises/contents in same condition as found upon move-in, normal wear/wear expected
Max number of occupants shall not be exceeded. Occupancy exceeding/using premises for illegal activity/causing damage to premises or neighboring properties and other acts which interferes with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises.
No open flames. Candle burning not permitted on balconies/in unit with exception of wood burning fireplace. Do not remove smoke detectors. Use stove fan when cooking to avoid smoke alarm activation.
There is no daily maid service but can be arranged for fee.
"No pets" policy must be observed (unless noted as pet friendly/fees have been paid). If evidence found you will be asked to vacate immediately with no refund of rent/deposit.
No smoking in unit. Damage deposit will be forfeited/you will incur charge of $1000 if you opted for damage insurance as smoking is not covered. You will incur additional charge for carpet cleaning and deodorizing if evidence of smoking.
Reservations are not made by or for a minor, defined as person under age of 25. We require one member of party to be 25. Violators will be evicted with forfeiture of all monies.
Owner/owners agents may enter premises in case of an emergency; to make any necessary repairs/alterations/improvements/supply necessary services/show premises to prospective purchasers/renters/contractors. Owner will provide at least 24 hrs notice of intent to enter (except in case of emergency)
Report maintenance needs, we will respond as quickly as possible. Refunds will not be made for maintenance issues including, but not limited to heating/air conditioning/appliances/televisions.
iTrip or Owner, do not assume liability for loss/damage/injury to persons/personal property nor accepts liability for inconveniences/damage/loss/injury arising from temporary defects/stoppage of water/gas/cable/wifi/electricity/plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions/natural disasters/acts of God/other reasons beyond its control.
Tenant acknowledges if premises reserved includes a community pool, the undersigned agrees and acknowledges pool/patio/deck can be dangerous, the deck/patio can be slippery when wet, and injury may occur if not careful. With full knowledge of above,Tenant accepts/assumes all risks involved to Tenant/Tenant's guests related to use of pool/patio areas.
Tenant fully releases/discharges Owner from all liabilities/claims/demands/causes of action by reason of any injury/loss of damage by whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any guests as result, or connection with occupancy of premises and agrees to hold Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover any reasonable attorneys fees and costs. Owner reserves right to terminate this Agreement upon their discretion at any time.
Any violation that incurs a fine will be tenant responsibility. Examples include improper trash disposal, smoking, excessive noise, parking violations.

I took my two boys to Steamboat for Spring Break. We found Ironwood 17 to be a great location with easy access to the gondola and Village. Easy Walk to everywhere we wanted to be and the Itrip shuttle was only a text away for trips to downtown Steamboat Springs. The Itrip team was very responsive during booking and during our stay. More so in fact than any other company we have booked ski vacations through. Overall 6 out of 5!

Great accommodations! Such an easy walk to the slopes and the ability to ski to the edge of the condo complex. Enjoyed daily lunches back at the condo during our ski trip. Had one issue with the master bath plumbing that was fixed within a couple of hours. We only had 4 coffee cups (5 guests staying) and they brought more coffee cups the same day. Would definitely stay again and rent from Itrip!
