Frequently Asked Questions

  • Tenant agrees to leave the premises and its contents in the same condition as Tenant found the premises to be upon move-in, normal wear and tear expected. 
  • All dishes are to be washed and all garbage removed from the premises and placed in outside receptacles at check-out. If the home is left in an excessively unclean manner please note we will charge $50/hour for additional cleaning time needed after your departure.  
  • The maximum number of occupants shall not be exceeded. Occupancy exceeding the sleeping capacity, using the premises for any illegal activity, causing damage to the premises rented or to any of the neighboring properties and any other acts which interferes with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises are grounds for eviction.
  • Check-in time is after 4pm, may be as late as 5 or 6pm in peak winter and summer season.  Check-out time is 10am.
  • No open flames are permitted on balconies or in the unit with the exception of fire contained within a wood burning fireplace. Do not dismantle smoke detectors. Use the overhead stove fan when cooking to avoid accidental activation of smoke detector alarm.
  • There is no daily maid service.  Additional maid service can be arranged for a fee. Please contact us in advance for pricing.  A starter supply of paper products is provided.  Any additional needed during your stay is your responsibility.
  • "No pets or emotional support animals" policy must be observed. If evidence of a pet(s) is found in the unit or on the premises you will be asked to vacate immediately with no refund of rent or damage deposit.
  • Smoking (cigarette and marijuana) is strictly prohibited inside the unit and on any outdoor patio or balcony. Your damage deposit will be forfeited or you will be charged a $1000 fee if you opted for damage insurance as smoking is not covered under the insurance.  You will incur an additional charge for carpet cleaning and deodorizing if any evidence of smoking is found.  This is also grounds for eviction.
  • Quiet hours are 10pm - 8am.  Any violations will result in a fine of at least $150.  Repeated violations are grounds for eviction.
  • If your vacation rental requires a parking permit for a vehicle, this pass must be left or returned per your rental instructions, or there will be a fine of $200 per missing pass.
  • Reservations are not made by or for a minor, defined as any person under the age of twenty-five (25). We require at least one member of the party to be 25 (twenty-five) years of age! Any violators will be evicted with forfeiture of all monies.
  • Owner or owner's agents may enter the premises in case of an emergency; to make any necessary or agreed upon repairs, alterations, or improvements; supply necessary or agreed upon services or show the premises to prospective purchasers, renters or contractors. Owner will provide renter with at least 24 hours notice of Owners intent to enter (except in the case of an emergency).
  • Please report any maintenance needs for the premises to us and we will respond as quickly as possible. Refunds will not be made for maintenance issues including, but not limited to heating and air conditioning, appliances, televisions, and stereos.
  • iTrip or the Owner, does not assume any liability for loss, damage or injury to persons or their personal property. Neither does owner accept any liability for any inconveniences, damage, loss or injury arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, cable service, electricity or plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond its control.
  • Tenant hereby acknowledges that if the premises they have reserved includes a community pool and hot tub or private hot tub and the undersigned agrees and acknowledges that the community pool, hot tub and patio/deck can be dangerous areas, that the deck/patio can be slippery when wet, and that injury may occur to anyone who is not careful. With full knowledge of the above facts and warnings,Tenant accepts and assumes all risks involved to Tenant and all of Tenant's guests in or related to the use of the community pool, hot tub and patio areas.
  • Tenant, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, assignors, executors, and administrators, fully releases and discharges Owner from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, and causes of action by reason of any injury, loss of damage by whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any of his/her guests as a result, or in connection with the occupancy of the premises and agrees to hold Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising there from. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover any reasonable attorneys fees and costs. Owner reserves the right to terminate this Agreement upon their discretion at any time.
  • Any violation of posted rules at property that incur a fine will be the responsibility of the tenant. Examples include access outside of pool and hot tub hours, improper disposal of trash, smoking, excessive noise, parking violations.  
  • By signing this agreement you agree that your rental is transient in nature and does not provide you with tenant rights.  Transient accommodations or “short term rentals” are also subject to applicable Colorado Sales, county and city taxes which are added as a part of your total payment. Should the laws change regarding applicable taxes, we will adjust your booking accordingly.  We are required by law to collect all applicable sales taxes.


Great location for ski vacation

Had a 10 night stay at Capitol Peak 3209 and enjoyed it very much. Condo was clean and neat and very comfortable for our stay. The location of the Condo was fabulous and we appreciated the very short walk from the conveniently located ski locker on the ground floor across to the Gondola. We also thought the secure undercover car parking was fantastic. The Condo was well appointed with a kitchen that had everything we needed, large front loading washer and dryer and a comfortable King bed. We would be very pleased to be able to stay in the Condo again in the future.

This is the best ski-in/out in Snowmass. 20 steps from the gondola, 30 steps from ice skating ring and 40 steps to ski school. Jordan from I-trip was texting and following up if we checked in ok (since our plane was delayed)

My wife, 18 year-old son, and I just returned from our week-long stay at CP 3209. I can't rave enough about the entire experience with iTrip, from the initial rental process, on-going communication, check-in/check-out process, and condition of the condo. The condo was impeccably clean, had plenty of cookware and supplies, had a great view and plenty of storage space. My son slept on the pull out sofa, which was of high quality and very comfortable, not like the typical fold out sofa. The king bed in the bedroom was also very comfortable. The bathroom had a shower and tub. All furniture was updates and in great condition. We had an issue with one side of the toaster not working and I had a replacement the next day. The ski lockers in the first level were perfect, walking just 20 steps from the Elk Gondola to the lockers. The proximity to the gondola, Village Express, and the Sky Cab was awesome. Plenty of restaurants nearby and a grocery store is only a 10 min walk away. No need to rent a car. I highly recommend CP 3209 for a family ski trip.

Memorable time at Capitol Peak

It was our first trip to snowmass and Capitol Peak was the best place to stay. It has the perfect location right in front of the gondola, restaurants, and ski school. It was the perfect size for a family of four. It had a spacious kitchen with all the necessary appliances, and a counter with stools to chat with the cook! The bathroom had a bathtub and a separate shower. The living area had a table for six people and a sofa area with a fireplace. My teenagers slept very comfortably on the pullout sofa. Our bedroom was spacious, a bit more lighting would have been better but it was modern and nice. The service to pick up the keys and to answer any of our questions during our stay was exceptional. I would definitely stay here on my next visit to snowmass.

Good location, but bed too firm, slept poorly. Deck furniture inappropriate. Dining table monstrously too large. Hassles trying to get early check in, though later check out was smooth. Too pricey overall. $200 mgmt fee is a rip off

Dan, While we do highly value feedback, it is difficult for us to know if this is feedback meant to help us improve or just your frustration for not getting an early check-in on your terms. Per your text with us during your stay you did say you would not give us a 5 star review if we didn't give you a late check out. We do our very best to ensure the condos are clean and well maintained for each guest prior to their arrival (mgmt fee goes to this service which we deem very important) and we did text you at noon on the day of your arrival (4 hours early) to say you could arrive any time. This wasn't good enough for you and you said you needed to know the night before. Well we couldn't offer it the night before as we were working on the fridge and did not know the exact time it would be finished that next day. However, in the future, we want to share that guests who wish to check-in early with any stay that is booked we suggest booking the night before to guarantee this rental is ready whenever you want to arrive that next morning/day. Great condo! Location could not be better for skiing in Snowmass. Check-in required picking up keys and parking pass a few blocks away, but it only took a moment. The unit was clean and comfortable. This condo was amazing! The location is perfect, just steps from Snowmass Village, Elk Camp Gondola, and Skittles Gondola for a trip up to Snowmass Village Mall! Only a few steps to dining, shopping, and a great common area to relax and enjoy the day! We spent 4 nights here and wish we could have stayed longer. The condo is clean and the bed is very comfortable! They provide almost everything you could need in the kitchen and bathroom! We were here at the start of off season so the area was a little quiet, but it was perfect for us! There are plenty of places to hike as well as just ride the gondola up for an amazing view of the mountains. We will hopefully be back here again this winter!

Excellent Condo at Capital Peak

iTrip Vacation was on point throughout our stay at #3209 Capital Peak Building A in Snowmass Village CO. I never had to call to speak to anyone for my stay. All information was sent prior and during our entire stay via email. iTrip would send a text to check on our stay and made themselves readily available if need be. I did have a question about our checkout process and I received an answer within 5 minutes via text. The condo was perfect for my wife and son. Amenities were perfect. Fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, dishwasher, A/C and location, location, location… iTrip Vacation provided nicely done little welcome kit in our condo upon arrival. During my research for my stay in Aspen/Snowmass for the summer, iTrip Vacation popped up on my radar and offered an excellent value. This first time customer is very very happy about our stay using iTrip Vacations!

Positives: Condo clean, good appointments and tasteful furnishings. Everything worked. View good. Staff replaced defective humidifier without question. Staff responsive but slow in esponse. Negatives: I have been coming to Snowmass for over 20 years, but we had major problems on check-in and getting the key after hours and following confusing directions to our unit at night. Also, no one ever seemed to be at the emergency number or in the Shadowbrook office. Could use a house shuttle from the airport like every other housing facility in Snowmass.

That being said, we do not feel it is necessary to provide a shuttle service, as everything is so close, even the airport at just 8 miles. We were disappointed to hear your challenges with check-in. We understand you had some delays in your travel that day and arrived many hours later than you expected and our office was closed. The instructions, key and parking pass were left for you in a well marked envelope. This is very common when staying in a vacation rental that does not allow for keyless entry. Based upon your feedback we did double check our instructions and confirmed they are clear and correct. First the good and then some minor nitpicking. The good: Having stayed in a dozen or more Snowmass locations this is far and away the premier location. Parking is perfect too. Quality of the unit construction is top shelf as are the furnishings, appliances and amenities . Minor issues: bedroom lighting was inadequate. Like a hotel of similar quality I think the unit should have a mini safe. And while normally not an issue as in a non covid environment I would be out skiing but during my 4th week all day long there was very loud construction noise coming from a nearby unit that made remote work challenging. Overall, a good value for an excellent unit.
