Welcome to The Mason House, a cottage with an authentic feel. The neighborhood and all of the charm that downtown Georgetown provides, are waiting to be explored!! Come see eateries, artwork, nature, and much more in the Historic Downtown Square!! Your perfect Summer getaway.

This quaint, recently refreshed home is situated in a peaceful neighborhood just strolling distance to The Square in Georgetown. This property offers all the comforts of home with a touch of nostalgia sprinkled in for extra flavor! Great home in a perfect location.

There is a small separate home at the back of the property that may have other guests. If there is someone in the back home, they will park on the street, so you will have driveway parking. The deck and seating area is shared between both properties. Occasionally, the owner may need to go to the backyard to water the plants.

Policies & House Rules:
- NO PARTIES, EVENTS, OR LARGE GATHERINGS! These are cause for eviction with no refund. Please be respectful of the neighbors at all times. Properties may include a noise alert monitoring system and other electronic devices to ensure that neighborhood noise and occupancy levels are respected. If we receive noise complaints and are required to come to the property to address, there will be a $250 fine charged to the credit card on file. Occupancy is limited at all times during your stay to the maximum 'sleeps' number stated in the listing. Do not invite additional people to the home
- Non-smoking residence; Smoking (including vaping/e-cigarettes) is not permitted anywhere inside our homes. This is a family friendly property and there will be additional charges if we discover any evidence of smoking in the home.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve home
- Photo ID may be required upon check-in if reservation occurs within 72 hours of arrival date
- City & State taxes, in addition to cleaning fee and standard Property Damage Protection Policy will be added to all reservation rates.
- For the safety of our guests, exterior property is under 24/7 video surveillance and electronic monitoring equipment is in place to audit noise levels
- You may not exceed this property's maximum occupancy at any point during your stay. These are cause for eviction with no refund and may damage our ability to offer the home for future guests exposing you to liability. Please be respectful of our neighbors.
- Some of our homes have hot tubs and/or swimming pools. We make every attempt to ensure that the hot tubs are in service, hot, and ready for your arrival. However, there are times when a hot tub is out of service due to circumstances beyond our control. We do not charge extra for out hot tub amenities, and there will be no refund if a hot tub is not in service when you arrive. Likewise, if night-time temps are cold (below 50), it is unlikely that a 'heated pool' will be warm, so please be aware that night-time temperatures directly impact the temperature of the water in the swimming pool.
- We make every attempt to keep the pool as clean as possible, but at times leaves and debris may end up on the surface. This will not be cause for refund.
- We have pest control treat our homes every other month. There may be an occasional pest that finds its way inside - this will not be cause for a refund.
- Please consider investing in travel insurance. It is impossible for hosts to make refund assurances for every possible scenario so it is recommended that guests consider purchasing a travelers insurance benefit in order to protect your plans in the event of extenuating circumstances. If you have been diagnosed, medical record confirmation will allow you to file a claim for travel related losses with your travel insurance provider.
- Check-in time is 3pm; Check-out time is 10am
- EARLY CHECK-IN: We aim to offer early check-ins whenever possible. We will text on the day of arrival when the home is ready for check in. Please make sure your mobile number is up to date in your iTrip account. This will allow us to offer an early check in

We stayed at the Mason House this "winter" in Georgetown Texas. It is a lovely little bungalow big enough for 4 -6 people but lovely for us (a couple). We love being so close to the square and the San Gabriel RIverwalk. We felt right at home there, The house had everything we needed and itrip Austin was very helpful in answering questions.

The location was nice and felt safe. It also was close by several things we were doing. We also very much appericated the owner coming to rescue us when we got accidentally locked out. If I could give a suggestion, I'd change out the living room furniture. What was available made it a tad difficult to relax with the family.

We are replacing the doorknob with one that does not lock to prevent future occurrences of accidentally locking the door. The furniture is as shown in the pictures. We had a great time in Georgetown in spite of less than ideal weather. The house was very comfortable and it had everything we needed. I was impressed with how clean everything was when we got there. The beds were very comfortable! And we could enjoy walking downtown. So many great resturants and shops. The backyard was very nice too.

Mason House, behind the scenes crew, made us feel safe by responding to our needs at every turn. We went from being hot 🥵 outside, on arrival, to a 40 degree drop in temperature. We got a text immediately helping us with the thermostat. The moment I automatically locked 🚪 turned into a good night when another key became available thanks to the crew. The driveway was blocked when we returned after creating great memories. The crew made that issue disappear for us. Mason house became a sweet memory. The picture next to the door with the Aunt J made me uncomfortable. It started a debate in our family we could not resolve. Maybe put that one away?

It was my second time staying at this beautiful and peaceful cottage. I’m working mostly from home and I need a quiet place. The AC works great, the kitchen has all the appliances you need if you want to cook and The property manager is really great at communicating and replying back to the messages in no time. They accommodated with me both times with my early check in and later check outs as I was coming from canada. Will definitely go back. Highly recommend.

The Beautiful Decor and comfortable setting was enjoyed by all, and the “Special Treats” for us on the Dinning Table was appreciated . Wonderful cottage - nice soothing decor yet had almost everything we needed for a quiet weekend while visiting family. Comfy beds, make sure to leave the bedroom doors cracked to keep them cool from the AC. Clear instructions, located in quiet but pretty area that's also close to shopping needs. Only thing to note is that you always need to pull Very Firmly on the doorknob so that the keypad deadbolt will catch and unlatch correctly. (Would also love a strategically located cutting board, I'm sure it's there but wasn't easy to find.) Everything was thoughtful and would definitely stay there again if needed to!

We were in town visiting family and stayed at The Mason House. The home was clean, beds comfortable, kitchen stocked with everything we needed, and the location was perfect - just a few blocks to the square. iTrip Vacations was great to work with. The cottage in Georgetown is perfect for a small family (2 adults and 1 to 2 kids) . The house is in a great location and is an easy stroll to downtown to enjoy the restaurants and coffee. The backyard is quaint and has a nice table and a small barbecue. The owner and representative did a wonderful job answering all of our questions and the overall stay was fantastic. We look forward to returning.

We had a lovely time at the Mason House where we stayed to be able to visit friends in Georgetown while staying safe about COVID. The space is roomy and comfortable with all the necessities one could need. The location meant it was easy to walk to the main square but the neighborhood is quiet and relaxed enough that we didn’t often feel the need to go anywhere. Thanks for a great stay!

The Mason House was a wonderful experience, within walking distance of town (about 5-10 minutes). During the three weeks we stayed there, the house served us well and everything was very clean and taken care of. Any issues we had during our stay were quickly resolved. We felt very safe, and would often take walk with our two kids to and from town, and several of the playgrounds nearby. I would recommend this to anybody who is looking for a long or short stay within walking distance of Georgetown!
