Salt Lick, located in Wildernest above Silverthorne, is a free shuttle ride to the Keystone slopes. What's more, we're just 14.5 miles to Arapahoe Basin, the first slope to open in the fall and very last North American mountain to close each year – in June! Because if you want to ski over Memorial Day Weekend, you should be able to ski over Memorial Day Weekend.

Silverthorne and neighboring towns host multiple festivals and events throughout the year. Summit County offers some of the most diverse terrain available in the world. Bundle up and enjoy world-class downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, ice skating, tubing, sledding, sleigh rides, snowshoeing, dog sledding, festivals, hiking, fishing, local theater, concerts, outlet shopping, and more.

House Rules

Reservations made for teenagers or young single groups will not be honored without any accompanying adult staying in the unit at ALL times. We require at least one member of the party to be 25 (twenty-five) years of age. No smoking/no pets. Be respectful of the house and contents - it is someone's home. Respect the neighbors and neighborhood. No parties, events or smoking of any kind.


All photos (furnishings subject to change), amenities, calendar, and rates are 100% accurate. We supply starter shampoo, soaps, paper products, firewood where applicable and hotel-quality towels and linens. We do not provide laundry detergent due to allergies.

Each reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, and a Property Damage Protection insurance policy.



PLEASE NOTE: There is NO SMOKING of ANY KIND, including vaping, inside, on patio/deck/balcony, or anywhere within vicinity of building.

Renter MUST be 25 years of age and present during stay. We do not provide laundry detergent due to allergies.

Occupancy and stated number of vehicles is strictly enforced by HOAs, City and County under penalty of fine. Additional vehicles may be towed at the vehicle owner's expense. If fines are levied, the guest is liable for the full amount. We are not liable if the guest requires paid overnight parking for extra or oversized vehicles.

Wonderful, cozy condo with backyard access to outdoors

We had an absolutely lovely stay in this cozy Wildernest condo outside of Silverthorne. We could tell the owners invested in making sure the furniture and decor was high quality (beds and bedding were amazing!) and the condo was well-appointed and nicely updated, especially given the age of the building. We loved sitting by the gas fireplace and my son enjoyed the property hot tub. Location was perfect - Just outside town but a very quick drive to downtown Silverthorne. My husband and I had to work for much of our vacation, and we loved being 6 minutes from the the BlueBird market where we set up our mobile office during our stay. Right out the back there is a network of trails that we explored daily with the kids - super convenient for our family, as we are still working around nap schedules so it's tough to get in the car to find hiking adventures. We even saw a moose and her baby right up the street! Owners were very responsive, helpful, and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

We stayed here for 2 nights and had a very nice stay. The condo was clean, and there were plenty of linens and other supplies for our group of 4. We weren't at the condo very much as we were mostly sight seeing but it was a great place and would recommend it to anyone.

We really enjoy the location of Salt lick condos. This unit was perfect for our family. Ground floor made it easy for loading/unloading and fantastic access to the open space for snowshoes. Definitely bring snow shoes in winter. Its amazing. Well stocked, warm, and comfortable.

We were so happy to beat the heat and escape Louisiana to this awesome condo in Silverthorne. Our plan was to do a little hiking and get away from the city for a few days and we did just that. This Salt Lick condo was perfect for us. We had 2 babies with us so being within a few minutes from town was perfect. Also, the hike we did was only a minute up the mountain from our stay, Lily Pad Lake trail. All in all it was a great stay!

My family and I stayed here in July for a week. The property is extremely clean and had plenty of room. This unit is on the first floor so we enjoyed sitting on the patio in the morning and hiking the trails right outside the back door. This place is convenient to so much, Silverthorne itself, but a short drive to Breckenridge, Keystone and Frisco too. I would highly recommend this property in the summer or winter.

What a nice home.

My wife and I had a great stay. All the amenities are here and the shuttle bus stops right in front so access to all of the nearby mountain towns are within easy access. Out of the back door is a national forest with many hiking trails and what a great view, like living in the forest. We definitely will be back.
