We stayed st Sunset Vistas a couple years ago and loved it both times. This condo was in great shape, comfortable, close to elevator and the grounds/pools/access to beach was great. There were beach chairs in the unit and we used them at the beach. We brought some toys for our kids, but there were some in the unit as well and they have a community box by the beach access area that is usually pretty well stocked (used a pool noodle and board from there). Our kids absolutely loved it and want to go back again!

The room was clean and a great location. Was a little bumped out about Treasure Island/John's Pass in general. Just wasn't as great as it was led on to be. But again room was great and so was the beach and the amenities of the hotel. They had a community "beach supplies" like chairs and floaties which was great since we didn't plan that far ahead. Room does not have any toiletries like shampoo or body wash - bring your own! But did include soap to wash the dishes and such.

Upon arrival, the condo was somewhat clean. Prior to our arrival I was given some instructions on how to keep the condo and was asked to treat it as if it was my home. First off the floors were dirty. There was no visible debris but after taking our shoes off and walking around as we unloaded our belongings, our socks were black and filthy. Unfortunately we arrived as Tropical Storm Collin was just hitting the Gulf and the power had gone out for quite some time. We had previously stopped at Publix to get some groceries to ride the storm our but there was no power. Not that this was the owners fault but some of the outlets worked and some didn't. One of the outlets that did not work happened to be the refrigerator. After several hours the power was restored. The master bedroom bed is greatly in need to replacing as the right hand side felt worn out. On our third night, my back finally gave out and was out of wack for the remainder of our trip. My daughter said the other bed was okay. While the kitchen was somewhat clean, we discovered many dishes that had leftover food stuck to them and required us to wash them prior to our use. The cabinet door finish under the sink is chipping and would cut my fingers as that is where the trash container is located. The main TV in the front room would have a green affect after :30 minutes or so of being on. The furniture in the living room was dirty and my daughter found blood on one of the throw pillows. Overall the property outside was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The covered parking lot was nice as it help to keep our car cooler and dry as the storm was passing through. After speaking with my wife and knowing that we have previously stayed at the Residence Inn in January 2016, we would consider spending the extra money to stay at the Marriott due to the issues we had with this condo.

So sorry that Tropical Storm Collin affected your stay. There were some power issues, but everything has gone back to normal. The cleaning and any maintenance issues have been addressed and will not be an issue in the future. Thanks for the feedback!

My husband and I stayed in 306S for a week in May and we had a wonderful time! We love the units at Sunset Vistas, and this one was even better than most because it has a king size bed in the master bedroom. The unit had everything we could want! The washer and dryer are a great addition. This way we didn't have to pack a lot, just wash, dry and off we go. I want to recommend a quaint little breakfast place called Gayle's Cafe on the way to St Pete Beach. The breakfast there is home cooked and very tasty! Julie is an awesome server, we can't wait to visit next spring. Just be sure to bring cash, no credit cards accepted. But you don't need much, the prices are very reasonable. We also liked the Pub in Indian Shores. Ask for Scott, he rocked! iTrip was very easy to deal with, no problems with them at all. We are looking forward to next spring and our trip to Sunset Vistas!
