207 - Island Inn
5.0/5 stars
The island inn is a great spot for the beach, restaurants,Publix right down the road. But I have to be honest, this place is very dated. The studio we stayed in was perfect for 2 people. You need to invest in a decent coffee pot. It took over 30 min. to brew then it wasn’t fit to drink. We finally gave up and went to the office for coffee, which was really annoying. I asked about a cooler in the room for the beach and was told there was one...a lunch size playmate doesn’t count to me, not when 2 adults are going to the beach for the day. We flew so I was trying to avoid bringing one if I could. Bring your own!!! The umbrella will not survive on the beach, so if you want shade bring your own or rent one for $10 day. The bar at the pool was nice, but of course no coolers allowed. That stinks, you should be able to drink your own if you want! This may sound petty to some, but for us it mattered. The refrigerator is very small also. So between that and small cooler we were putting ice in the sink to keep drinks cold ! The bed was comfy but pillows were not. Try Caddy’s on the beach,it is within walking distance. Great food and live music. Again none of this could be “fixed” so no one was called. If none of these things would bother you, it’s a great place. We will be better prepared next time, maybe bigger place and bring cooler.

Stayed in 207. Room was spotless with a clean comfortable bed. Room was stocked with all utensils to cook simple meals. Even blenders!!! Lots of hot water and pressure in the shower. Quiet evenings and mornings, for great sleeps. Chairs and cooler and umbrella available for use but the ones you rent on the beach are way more fancy. Plenty of parking. Super friendly hotel staff. Beautiful beach and everything you need in walking distance. Booked again for next year (another floor because 207 was booked already) because we absolutely love it.

The condo was exactly as the picture represented. Room was simple but affordable and served us well. We loved the view of the beach and the gorgeous sunsets every night. Great restaurants nearby and Treasure Island was fun and had lots to do.

We have stayed at the Island Inn in Treasure Island Florida three times in three different rooms and we have been satisfied every time. The Island Inn is in a wonderful location right on the beach. You can hear the surf at night and watch dolphins swim by in the morning. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby and lots of things to do to enjoy your stay in Florida. The staff at the Inn has always been very helpful and friendly. We will be going down again next year.

Room 207 was a perfect condo with a straight on unobstructed view of the Gulf!! The studio has all you need for a perfect beach getaway. The studio was clean and spacious. The facility has a nice pool and a quaint beachside bar. The Island Inn beach resort also has a professional crew and well maintained facility. Centrally located to all the amenities that saint Pete beach and Treasure Island have to offer. The stay in room 207 was perfect. ITrip Vacation Rentals support was simply impeccable. I will definitely stay in room 207 again in the near future and feel confident in booking future trips with ITrip Vacation Rentals.

I never knew Treasure Island existed before my stay and have been to the St. Petersburg area several times before. The Island Inn resort has an old Florida feel, but the condo 207 has been updated for a modern beachy feel. Very clean and had a blender and full kitchen. Umbrella and cooler available in the closet for beach use. The ice machine was on the same floor just a few steps away. The water pressure is good in the shower. Plenty of toilet paper and towels for the stay. Never even heard my neighbors but most of the crowd was down due to my stay being during the weekdays. More people began to show on Friday. Still there is mostly an older crowd. I used the free activities and enjoyed both the dolphin cruise and kayaked at John's Pass two different days. The beach was clean and water was perfect. Will be returning!

My husband and enjoyed our trip to Treasure Island very much. The room (207) at the Island Inn was very nice. It was furnished with everything that we needed for our week stay. The bed was somewhat soft and almost lumpy, and the pillows were flat and should probably be replaced, but by the end of the day we were so tired from all of the fresh air and sunshine that falling asleep wasn't an issue. The Treasure Island area is a beautiful place and we hope to return someday soon.

This place was very nice. Clean and updated. Just as it appeared in photos. We didn't rent a car - had easy walks to Publix and dinner. Used Lyft and Uber for further excursions. We used the beach chairs and towels. The tiki bar was handy for cocktail hour. The view is terrific.

My husband and I spent a long weekend at Island Inn 207 and were very pleased. The room was up to date and very clean. We had all the amenities that we needed for the two of us. Just a short walk down the stairs and a turn of the corner and you are at the beach. I would definitely recommend.

I'm not 100% OCD but I will say I have some standards. I want to be fully open about my experience with you. We arrived (never been to this part of Florida before) and the town seemed to be a "Spring Break" feel. I booked this room because of the pictures and it lead me to believe it was beautiful. The place it set up to be very "motel 8" style. We were able to check in early which was nice. When we got to the room I was not impressed. The pictures did it a favor. It looked like a junky room that someone tried to slap makeup on to improve. The carpet needs to be ripped out. It was damp and you can see how dirty it actually is. Carpet at the beach just isn't a good idea. I pulled back the sheets and checked for bugs (because you have to know what your crawling into) and there was a black dot... I have my boyfriend be the one to check it out... then I saw the black dot move!!! He squished it - and confirmed it was only a spider. But we had bug guts on our sheets now. I continued to check the bed and we had a blood stain on the fitted sheet. I was grossed out but the boyfriend said we will just sleep on the top cover. So the 3 nights we slept there we had no blanket to cover us. Don't go #2 in the toilet because it will clog. We tried to plung it but they only provided a cheap target brand that didn't work. We had a pee only toilet and we had to share only to flush once because the toilet bowl would fill and take 30-40 to go down. The day we left we heard the toilet finally unclogging. It just didn't feel like a clean room. With this being said... it had some positives to it. You're there for the beach - location was nice and the patio / view wasn't bad. We were able to walk beach front to a bar called Caddys that had live music and bin fires on the beach. That was fun. We drove to Fort De Soto Beach which was beautiful and historical. We also drove to Clearwater to play there. The room grew on me as the trip continued. And I got over the bug and the random blood stain. I was there for the beach and sun. And I got that. You're paying $89 a night for a reason. Don't expect anything amazing. It was fine for a weekend away. PS: They hide the extra bath towels under the sink.

We do appreciate the feedback. However, if our Guest have any cleaning or maintenance issues (like blocked toilets), please, call or email to our 24 dedicated Guest line, and we will get it taken care of immediately. We are continually working to update the room, and the replacement of the carpet with tile is top of the list. Thanks again, and we're glad the stay turned out well for you.

This unit was exactly as described. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect week. The room is just like what you see. It has all the things you need from utensils, pots/pans, mini fridge, coffee pot, toaster, microwave to a smart TV. We brought our roku but wouldn't have needed it anyway since we could have logged into our Netflix account on the TV. The view is magnificent and the pool is just the right size with the same view. Tiki bar is the added bonus with food and drinks right at the pool. The bed was springy (but I like soft beds) and the curtains blocked the early morning sunrises when we chose to sleep in late. Only suggestion would be a couple bigger beach towels (or bring your own) and firmer pillows (also, or bring your own). The bus stop and liquor store are only a few steps away and publix is half a mile north. Free beach rides company is he way to get around though as they're based only on tips (so cheaper than uber). Never needed a car. One tiny suggestion which may be outside of the condo unit owners realm anyway) is offer the unit above 207 (so 307?) some felt stickers to place on the bottoms of their chairs/furniture because all we heard was what sounded like nails on a chalkboard all the time with each move of a chair/table. But that had nothing to do with this unit's owner responsibility. We will be back!

We loved the Mexican food at VIP which is a mile North of Island Inn. We also loved eating at The Middle Ground. Jeffrey was our waiter and he and the food were fantastic!
