If you don't like getting on a crowded elevator in your swim suit, Lighthouse II is your vacation home. Walk directly to the beach through a lockable door from your balcony. A barbecue grill is also directly below your balcony. There are only six units at Lighthouse II. This spacious three bedroom condo is on the first floor, just one flight up from the parking lot (there is no elevator in this building). The balcony offers an unobstructed view from large chairs that are just the right height.

Inside, comfortably furnished surroundings are ready for rest after days of activity. The living room has plenty of seating and a flat screen TV. All three bedrooms have queen size beds. There are TV sets with cable in two of the three bedrooms. The sofa coverts to a queen size bed. Ceiling fans keep cool air moving in every room. The fully equipped kitchen includes a full size refrigerator, stove with oven, microwave, toaster, small appliances, cookware. Dishes, glassware and tableware are on hand.

Linens are provided, beds will be made, kitchen and bath towels, some soap, paper towels and trash bags will be on hand. You will not have to begin your vacation by making beds or running to the store to get toilet paper, and if you get in late, you can still have a cup of coffee in the morning.

Surfside Beach is perfect for a family vacation, away from the traffic and crowds, but still a short drive to the wide variety of attractions, shopping, dining and entertainment the Grand Strand has to offer. There are over 100 golf courses nearby. The Surfside Beach pier, restaurants and shops are a few blocks north from Lighthouse II. Luxury shopping and dining are a few minutes north in the Market Commons area. Just a short drive north are all the attractions and shopping of Myrtle Beach, Broadway at the Beach, Coastal Grand shopping center, the Myrtle Beach boardwalk, and one of the world's largest Ferris wheels. About 15 minutes south is the Murrell's Inlet restaurant row, said to be "the seafood capital of South Carolina". For a unique cultural experience, Brookgreen Gardens displays one of the world's largest collections of sculpture by American artists in a lush outdoor setting, along with a zoo and butterfly garden, it's just a few minutes south on Business 17.

It's easy to see that memorable and relaxing vacation days will begin and end here, is it not?

The person renting this property must be at least 25 years old, have a valid credit card, and be present for the entire rental.

Parking is limited at all oceanfront properties. We can only provide the number of parking tags allowed by the Home Owners Association and property manager. None of these properties provide more than TWO parking tags. No additional parking tags are available.

Golf Carts, trailers and other recreational vehicles are not allowed on the Lighthouse II property!

Frequently Asked Questions

In most cases, no.  If you find beach chairs or other beach items in the property, you are welcome to use them.  However, most owners advise that their beach chairs were left on the beach too often.  
Pets are not permitted at many of our properties.  In most cases, HOA rules prohibited guests from bringing pets, even though owners are permitted to.  We have a few properties where we can consider allowing a small dog - NO cats.  The dog must be at least a year old, and weigh less than 30 pounds (two properties are limited to 20 pound dogs).  These are clearly marked "allows pets" and a non-refundable rent surcharge of $200 ($300 for two small dogs) is required.  Please contact us with information about your dog before booking a reservation - at which time we can approve your dog, add the animal surcharge to your reservation and collect said surcharge if you booked the property through a 3rd party affiliate.

Cancellation refunds are only made after (and if) the period is re-rented, less a $100 cancellation fee.  If you are concerned about needing to cancel please consider travel insurance; it covers cancellation for a wide range of reasons, along with many additional benefits.  
Our check-in time is 4pm at our office. Approval for a late check in will be granted in EXTREMELY RARE CIRCUMSTANCES. If one is granted, the renter must return to the check-in office the following day before 2pm to complete the check-in process.  This includes the renter showing ID to confirm identity and that he/she meets the minimum age requirement. There will be a $100 charge if this is not completed.
The person renting any property must be 25 or older, have a valid credit card, and be present throughout the rental period.  The renter will be responsible for the actions of and damage caused by everyone in the group.  Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of reservation deposit, damage deposit, and/or balance of rental payment.
WiFi internet access is provided in all of our properties.  Security and connection speed vary widely.  The HOA systems typically do not require a password.  If you have important business or financial matters to transact, consider bringing a mobile WiFi connection device of your own.  Connection speeds may not be fast enough to support streaming movies, music or video games.  
Parking is limited at all oceanfront condominium complexes.  We can only provide the number of parking passes the HOA rules permit.  In most cases, no more than two parking passes can be provided.  We are limited to one parking pass per unit at Horizon East, Afterdeck, and for one and two bedroom units at Waters Edge.  

There aren't any free public parking lots near the beach.  Surfside Beach has some metered parking along Ocean Boulevard and some lots.  

The rental includes the parking passes available, but does not guarantee the availability of parking space.  Parking is managed by the property manager, we have no control over the parking lot or parking space.  
For violation of any of the proceeding rules, tenant and all other occupants will be evicted according to South Carolina law with forfeiture of all monies.  In addition, outside of Airbnb rules and restrictions, all guests agree to the iTrip Vacations Myrtle Beach South Rental Agreement.
  • The reservation must be in the name of someone who is at least 25 years old. This person must also be in the rental the entire length of the stay. Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of all monies paid.
  • Check-in is 4pm at our office. Approval for a late check in will be granted if notified in advance. If one is granted, the renter must return to the office next day to complete the check-in process.  This includes renter showing ID to confirm minimum age requirement. There will be a $100 charge if this is not completed. 
  • PLEASE NOTE: if you are booking on Airbnb: Airbnb puts the Admin Fee, Limited Damage Waiver Fee, Cleaning & Linen Fee all together and calls it the CLEANING FEE. That's why the cleaning fee appears to be high but it is not that high. We hope this helps.
  • We do not rent to house parties and/or groups including, but not limited to, fraternity/sorority, graduation, or spring break.  
  • If evidence of a pet(s) is found in the unit or on the premises and your rental does not include advance permission and pet fee, you will be required to vacate immediately with no refund.
  • Smoking is not allowed in the properties. 
  • Each property's max occupancy is stated in the rental agreement and is located in the property's description.
  • No barbeque grills of any kind are permitted on balconies or inside the unit. No open flames, ie. candles, are permitted on balconies or in the unit.
  • There is no daily maid service. Linens and towels are included and are not to be taken from the unit. Additional cleaning fees will be due in the event that cleaning involves the removal of excessive sand, trash or other unusual conditions.
  • No compensation will be given for temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, cable, or internet service. Outages should be reported immediately and all efforts will be made to have them restored as soon as possible.
  • Tenant agrees to leave the premises and its contents in the same neat and tidy condition as Tenant found the premises to be upon move-in.
  • Tenant agrees to abide by the rules of the HOA applicable to the property. Violations that result in expense, fines or limitation of the rights of the owner will be charged to the Tenant's credit card.
  • Owner or owner's agents may enter the premises under the following circumstances: In case of an emergency; to make any necessary or agreed upon repairs, alterations, or improvements; or to supply necessary or agreed upon services or show the premises to prospective purchasers, renters or contractors. Owner will provide renter with at least 24 hours' notice of owners intent to enter (except in the case of an emergency). Pest control personnel must be admitted (refusal is not permitted).
  • We supply the number of parking hangtags or other credentials permitted by property manager or Home Owners Association rules at each complex.  We cannot control parking, and cannot guarantee the availablity of parking space at any particular time.  This rental includes parking credentials, but not parking space.  Parking at Horizon East, Cape Coddages One and Afterdeck is limited to one vehicle per unit during the summer months.  No boats, jet skis, trailers, golf carts or RVs at any property unless specifically permitted.
  • Furnishings are not to be removed from the premises for use outside or in other properties.
  • Neither iTrip nor the Owner assume any liability for loss, damage or injury to persons or their personal property. Neither does Owner accept any liability for any inconveniences, damage, loss or injury arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, cable service, electricity or plumbing, weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond its control.
  • Tenant hereby acknowledges that the premises they have reserved may include a community pool and the undersigned agrees and acknowledges that the community pool and patio/deck can be dangerous areas, that the deck/patio can be slippery when wet, and that injury may occur to anyone who is not careful. With full knowledge of the above facts and warnings, the undersigned Tenant accepts and assumes all risks involved to Tenant and all of Tenant's guests in or related to the use of the community pool and patio areas.
Surfside Beach City ordinance prohibits dogs on the beach between May 15 and September 15. South Shores HOA will CONSIDER small dogs to accompany tenants between LABOR DAY and MEMORIAL DAY. They are NOT permitted during the peak summer months which are June, July and August. There is a maximum of two(2) dogs considered and each must be under 30lb. There is a $200 charge for the first and $300 for two. You MUST have your pet approved by iTrip Vacations Myrtle Beach South in order for them to stay in any of our properties. Tenant MUST contact us with age, weight and breed via email- at which time we will approve or deny stay request.  If stay is approved the pet fee will be added to your reservation and must be paid before arrival. If stay is denied the pet may NOT enter our property at any time!


Beachfront At Its Best

Looking for a place to stay always makes me anxious - Are the pictures and details accurate? Are the comments reliable? LighthouseII #1delivers. Pictures and comments are accurate. Quick response to questions. A 3 bedroom condo was much more space than we needed for 2 people but it’s all about location and availability. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place or to stay here again. We are all about the Beach. Access to the condo, from the parking lot, using the beachfront entry is 14 wide, low-rise steps with a landing between each set of seven steps. Beach access is down 7 steps, up 3, across the walkway (approx. 20 ft), down 2 steps and you are on the beach. Mostly level, flat, sand packed beach area makes for easy walking and chair and umbrella set-up. Plenty of usable beach during high tide. Waves were small. A truck drives up/down the beach for chair and umbrella rental (we had our own). The close proximity to the beach makes it easy to go back and forth to the condo throughout the day. There is a shower/hose on the walkway for rinsing off self/items. However, the steps and the walkway were sandy so even though you rinse off, your feet were sandy by the time you got to the door. We had an old towel that we put on the balcony for wiping off excess sand. Balcony provides an unobstructed view of the beach and ocean due to the comfortable, high chairs and table. Your eye level is above the railing and the dune. Sliding glass doors did not have screens so although the temps were comfortable, we didn’t turn off the AC or keep the doors open. Interior is tastefully decorated with a beach theme. Well maintained and adequately clean. Keyed locks for balcony door. Kitchen appeared well equipped for cooking – we did not cook. Bedrooms were spacious with plenty of storage. Master bath had a linen closet and 2 small shelves for storage. Both bathrooms had limited space for hanging wet towels. Location - Restaurants within walking distance (depending on what you want to eat and how far you want to walk). Driving to restaurants and grocery store was easy. Parking – 2 passes, we only used 1. There was no problem with parking – many empty spaces. Suggestions – Replace pillows in the master bedroom. Sheets were adequate - an upgrade to higher quality sheets would be a bonus. Remove the plastic shower curtain and replace with an antimicrobial cloth curtain that can be laundered.

A Wonderful Place To Stay - Lighthouse II Unit #1

This is the 2nd time we have rented the Lighthouse II Unit #1 Unit. Mandy at ITRIP goes above and beyond to make certain that everything is just perfect with the vacation stay. She even calls during the stay to check in to make sure all is up to par. About the Unit...The location is truly the best on the beach. You literally exit out the back door of your condo, take a few short steps down, and your toes are in the sand. The unit is well-kept and the furnishings are up-to-date. Linens are provided and they are very nice and plentiful. The washer and dryer are a real plus. The oceanfront deck is amazing and it is nice to sit there are night and watch the other vacationers traverse the beach in search of crabs. If you are looking to be as close to the beach as you can get and to also be able to easily drive to the best restaurants in Surfside, this condo is for you!

Great place, looks like it had been recently painted and some upgraded fixtures, decor, etc. great view with a nice covered deck on floor 1 so easy to walk right out on the beach or car. The bathrooms need a little upgrading, they were older and small. We had to go buy towels, only one set provided per guest and in the hot Summer we took lots of showers. We also had to buy beach toys, but we left them for the next guest. I do wish someone would check the parking passes because people just park there to have their beach day leaving no spots for us guest with a tag. From 10-4 the lot is full of “non guest” using the step access, showers, hose, etc. and no parking for us guest. Overall a great place to stay, and close to everything!

We enjoy so many things about this property that made for an easy decision to select it for our vacation again this year. Upon arrival the property was well cleaned with all bedding and bath towels ready for use. We love the large balcony where we spend most of our time while not on the beach. The direct, easy access to the beach is a huge plus! This property would score a five star from us if not for the pantry smell. This was the same for our visit last year. It is simply unusable for storing food items. I hope the ownership will consider a true correction to this vs. masking it with air fresheners. Fortunately, there is additional room within the kitchen cabinets to store dry food items. Pantry aside, we will certainly rent this property again in 2024.

We’ve stayed here multiple times and plan to come back. The owners do a really nice job updating the condo each year, and you cannot beat the large balcony & direct beach access! The condo has all you need with decent cookware & nice dishes. Coffee bar is a plus! A couple small things absolutely need addressed: both screen doors are broken(we were told by rental company but not fixed), and the master bed box spring is very ‘creaky’. This was an issue 3 years ago and for $100ish I’m surprised it still hasn’t been replaced. Every time you turn during sleep, the noisy bed wakes everyone up…please replace this! As mentioned, we love this condo and will plan to be back again next year. Thank you for sharing your condo & let me know if you ever plan to sell! 😉

Condo was clean and of course convenient to the beach. We have stayed here several times and always enjoy the large balcony. Only issue was a torn screen in the door, we didn't call about. We will be back.

The team at itripvacations was fantastic. They are friendly and accommodating. The Lighthouse II unit 1 property was as advertised. We arrived to a clean property with all bed and bath linens ready. Kitchen is fully stocked with all tooling and dishes required for cooking. The large balcony was where we spent most of our time and the private beach access was a plus. The only slight negative with the property was the musty smell in the food pantry closet. It was not conducive for food storage, but the excess kitchen cabinet space allowed us to manage quite well. The pantry issue is worthy of addressing by the owner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and would recommend to future travelers. We will strongly consider this property for our next trip to Surfside in 2023.

The condo was very tastefully decorated with ideal deck for looking out over the beach and ocean. The easy access to the beach was the kicker, right through the door on the deck. Easy to carry beach stuff back and forth. The only issue we had was the squeaky bed in the guest bedroom facing the front. I am sure it will be fixed as it made lots of noise each time you moved. I am also in the bedding business and would suggest for practically no investment, a lightweight synthetic comforter with an extra sheet tucked around it--triple sheeting--it would be a game changer for the bed's comfort level, not having to use the sort of worn out blankets in the closet- We would stay here again for sure--as said, perfect location and place for 5 to 6 people.

Lighthouse 2 Unit 1 was just what we needed for our family. Very comfortable for 4 adults and two kids. The unit was in perfect condition. Newly remodeled and had all the amenities we needed. We love the back door exit to get us right out on the beach. Many condos don’t have this feature and it is one we love. The unit was extremely clean. The check in and check out process with Mandy at ITrips was flawless. Mandy checked in on us several times by text to make sure we were enjoying our trip and if we needed anything. The weather was perfect and so was the vacation. We will be back next year.

No Queen Bed- cleaning not good - great view and location

The location and view is 5 star. Condo is right on the beach. The iTrip manager Mandy was helpful when requested a vacuum cleaner. The problem was the beds are not queen as advertised. They are full size. The cleaning is not good. Found several hair on the bed. When we checked in there was a musty smell in the condo. Overall I wanted to give it a 4 star but for about$2700 in the last week of July I think they deserve at least 3.5 star - pricy for what you get. Parking is good. Also the beach toys room on the first floor was not available. Sands on the balcony when we checked in. Overall cleaning needs to be improved.

Hey Clayton - thank you for taking the time to leave this review. I'm quite confused about the bed issue - we are certain those ARE queen beds. I'm not sure if they just appeared smaller to you, but they are standard size queen beds and I apologize if they did not appear that way to you. Also - the musty smell probably came from the Air Conditioning unit being left off during cleaning. Our new heightened Covid-19 cleaning protocols prohibit us from allowing the AC unit to run while there cleaning. The unit is left vacant for a while in between check-outs and then the AC is shut off to ensure (if any virus particles were left) they are not continuously circulated during cleaning. With oceanfront condos - especially in high humidity - you tend to get a musty smell when the air is not circulated constantly. This unit was the last of the day to get cleaned before your arrival, so the AC was not on long before your arrival. Also -the "beach toys room" is actually the owner's closet, which is always locked!

I had a wonderful time at this condo located on Surfside Beach. It had just been renovated, and was absolutely gorgeous! The view was always amazing, no matter the weather. It wasn't warm enough to sit on the deck most of the time that I was there, but it was still nice to have that area. It was great to have a door to the stairs from the deck, so that I could leave my sandy shoes out there after a walk on the beach. My son, daughter-in-law, and 5 year old grandson came for a few days, and we had plenty of room. They had their own space with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, quite separate from my room and bathroom. Very nice arrangement. The staff at iTrip is great. Very helpful, if needed. I spoke with Mandy several times, but never had the chance to meet her...maybe next year!

Nice layout, easy in/out to beach from deck. Comfortable beds. Could use a detailed cleaning but I guess it was end of season. Always say it would be nice to have a few commonly used spices for cooking,salt pepper. Nice to have sheets and towels. Dryer may need attention.

We have been renting in MB for 10 years and have NEVER experienced anything like this before! Had no idea where to pick up keys so drove to Elevate Cleans after 10 and receptionist was in parking lot. She told me to come into office and give her my number to call me in case housekeeping was done early. My son was renting unit upstairs & was able to get in early so we stayed with him (which by the way had a different owner - it was beautiful and very clean and up to date). He told me he saw housekeeping leave when he got a text he could get in. Long story short - it was after 2:30 so I call Elevate again. she called housekeeping and they said they were going at 3. How can you clean whole condo in 1 hour? Housekeeping never showed because we were in my sons unit. Went to get keys after 4 and just as we opened condo door receptionist called and me and asked if everything was ok which was strange. We looked around and told her "NO" the only thing done was clean towels on beds & sheets changed. Place was dirty (took lots of pictures of all) - floors dirty, sand from months under couch and chairs, butter & toast crumbs on counter, broken drawer in bedroom (that someone from past reviews complained about in 2018), dirty laundry room, old bent pots and pans, cabinet drawers dirty inside...I could go on and on. She told me manager was on the way - but 4 hours later no manager - we ran sweeper and cleaned counters. Then I get email from iTrip stating housekeeping was there at 3 and we were in condo and would not leave so they couldn't clean asking how we got in! Are you kidding me??? We picked up keys at office after 4 and we were in my son's unit the whole time. If we were in there - simple - why did housekeeping not call them right then and there and put me on the phone asking how we got it? It's because we were NOT there! We were appalled & angry that iTrip would even believe such a lie! Obviously housekeeping was there a lot earlier when my son saw them leave and lied about the whole thing. We paid a lot to stay there & were appalled by treatment and condition of condo. When I got home I read previous recent reviews only to find out -- more complaints about it being dirty, lots of sand under furniture, washer & dryer terrible, same broken drawer in 2018, not enough towels, old dented pots & pans and on and on. I am sad & upset that we were treated this way. The owner of this condo is definitely not getting their money's worth for cleaning. I have always been told the customer is always right. All it would have taken is one phone call to us & one visit from manager - both of which never happened. I will never go through iTrip again. Funny how many previous reviews reflected the same complaints. It was all ridiculous. We took pictures of it all and also pictures of how clean WE left the condo). We have gotten thank yous from the owners of every house & condo we have stayed for leaving the places so clean. The only thing that saved us was having the oceanfront view, the great deck and the beach.

We are so sorry for the inconvenience you experienced during your stay - we've been working on revisiting expectations required from our cleaning companies and thank you for the feedback. During summer months, when we have numerous units we are trying to get turned over in a short period of time, early check in is very rarely available. We had housekeeping telling us you came into the unit and would not leave, and we had you telling us that housekeeping never showed up - so needless to say it was a CRAZY day. We have appointed a manager to personally inspect this unit to ensure it is in good condition upon every check in.

The property was very nice. The unit had comfortable furnishings. The biggest complaint is with the cleanliness and items that were to be provided. The floors were not well swept. And items that were supposed to be provided were not. I called in advance to find out if we should bring bathroom rugs. I was told that would be provided, as well as linens for 8 people, and 1 roll of paper towels and 2 garbage bags for each can. I had to call and have bath rugs delivered, which arrived after 24 hours. Linens were provided for 6 not 8 people. Luckily I brought paper towels, and garbage bags, because neither were left in the unit for us. I received an email that said check out instructions were included in our welcome packet, the only thing in our welcome packet was a form to review our stay. I would give 4 stars for the unit, 2 1/2 for the cleaning service and management.

Hey Melody - we hate to hear you were not happy during your stay and wish you had called to allow us to make it better for you. I do show that you called, upon arrival, for delivery of bath rugs. We do not usually provide bath rugs for our units - but we do provide bath mats (which is what I'm assuming the customer service rep meant when she told you, ahead of time, that bath rugs would be in the unit). We had to go purchase some bath rugs to bring you - which is why it was 24 hours (as your call came in Saturday afternoon). We were not notified by you that there were any cleanliness issues or we would have gladly sent housekeeping out to redo your unit. We do not normally have an issue with this BUT as we all know in life, somethings can happen. If they do our philosophy is to jump on them and make them right ASAP, if we are notified. All of the beds had linens on them and the "missing linens" that you reference in your review can be found at the top of the first bedroom closet - closest to the pull out couch. A phone call could have also remedied that. We leave a starter pack of supplies for each guest's arrival, so while we do not provide paper towls/toilet paper/trash bags for your entire stay - we do provide enough to get you through the few few days until you can get to the store. The check out instructions should have been in your welcome packet, but every now and then those can be missed as well. In that event EVERY unit has a large fridge magnet that has the important phone numbers to call - in the event of needing assistance - and the check out instructions. Again - we apologize that you did not feel your vacation was 5 star worthy and hope you will give us another try next year to achieve that status!!!

We really enjoyed the unit’s location right on the beach and the fact that we were on the first floor. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook family dinners and we enjoyed our meals on the deck overlooking the ocean in the evenings. The sunset and sunrise views are especially breathtaking! On several occasions, we spotted dolphins from the deck in the mornings. Expect to have a wonderful time from the moment you get there...this is PARADISE!

Overall, the place was spectacular. You simply cannot get a better location in the beach. The unit is as close to the beach as you can possibly get. A few minor issues kept it at a 4 star. Cleaning agency left a dirty towel on the back of the bathroom door. They also left us a full/clean dishwasher to empty. Also, they left two trash bags with the previous renters dirty linens in front of our front door. Took two phone calls and 3 days to get them removed. Some minor damage issues to the unit. But, nothing could keep us from renting again. The location is simply unbeatable.

The location is awesome. Right on the beach. But this year we experienced some problems with the property. My daughter noticed a "spoiled seafood smell" when we checked in Saturday night but could not find it. Then Sunday at lunch I found that the pot lids that her toddler was playing with Saturday had a seal that had broken and water had seeped in the pot lid top. This was the rotten smell from the liquid trapped between the seal and lid knob. So terrible that I immediately called the office to report it. I threw the lid out. The main bedroom has a badly broken drawer. The property's grill areas are very dirty and garbage piled and overflowing in trash container. I am not happy with the property condition and despite the excellent and beautiful location will probably be seeking another location for rental for my family next year.I do have photos that I can add.

Starting with the arrival directions of go to 8000 S Kings to the Elevate Cleaners, which is really 8200 S Kings and no Elevate Cleaners ( seems to me like an easy fix) to the 20 minute drive before you get to the apartment was a bad start of a vacation. Dishwasher does not work properly. On our 7th of being there a repairman without notice shows up and checks the dishwasher. His answer is the normal setting doesnt work but thats okay use the other settings. That bad advice still took 7 days to get. The frying pans are extremely dented, worn out and are junk! The two outside grills are rusted extremely bad, the bottoms have rusted through. Hose to rinse off with coming back from beach is broken in several places and makes it difficult to rinse off. Weeds are over taking the wood steps to the beach. Place sleeps 6 to 8 (we had 6) but the amount of towels and washcloths provided is as if there were 3 or 4 people. Blue linen bag which appeared to be dirty linen (not sure) remained by the front door the entire week. The refrigerators freezer door does not seal properly and has ice forming on the seals. 20 minutes drive to drop the keys off for checkout is not customer friendly. For the price I expected better accommodations- not Dunkin Donuts coffee cups - one ply toilet paper - a washing machine that shakes loudly no matter what frying pans that are in extreme need of replacement - spiders in the kitchen - and very few towels / washcloths. VHS tapes and DVD capability?? Really!!!!

We recently stayed at this condo and it was absolutely perfect! Loved how easy it was to walk to beach and the little shower on the walkway. Rooms were nicely decorated and kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials. Would love to stay here again and I would highly recommend!!

This condo was exactly as pictured, with plenty of space for our family of five- and our children are 17, 21, and 25! This provided a great location to spend one last family vacation- both on the beautiful beach (steps from the condo!), on the spacious and well furnished deck, and also at the local attractions and Myrtle Beach. We had to clean the showers a bit when we arrived (No doubt cleaning crew was in a time crunch, but...) All in all, howver, I would highly recommend this property if you love the beach!!

Beautiful location right on beach

Stayed July 4th week with our 2 daughters, spouses and grandchild (11 months). Super convenient to walk right on the beach without dragging tent, baby stuff, etc. Also can run in quickly to get food and drink. The beach is very wide here and not crowded. Fireworks were all around and we just walked out on the beach to observe.

Very nice and clean condo as well as equipped with all the essentials you will need to enjoy your stay there. Fantastic beach location along with the surrounding scenery. The views of the ocean from condo's balcony are simply beautiful. Also, the condo location is convenient to grocery stores, restaurants, and other Grand Strand locations. We highly recommend Lighthouse II, Unit 1!

Perfect Condo for a family with young children

We stay in Surfside every summer. This condo is perfect for families with young children. It never fails you get everyone in their swimsuit with lotion and hit the beach for only 45 minutes when someone needs to go back to the condo for a snack or a bathroom break. The access to the condo from the beach is very convenient. The view is perfect and the accommodations are very comfortable. We will definitely stay at the Lighthouse again next year.

We found this rental on line and just couldn't resist the idea of ocean front with a corner deck that also looked up the beach to the pier of Surfside Beach. It sounded so good that I was afraid it might have been misrepresented, or maybe just too cramped for our 6 adults and two children. NO need to worry. This condo is even better than described. Room sizes are comfortable, beds are comfortable, there is plenty of closet and storage space, and the layout couldn't be better. One plus that isn't clear from the listing is that both bathrooms are full-sized with bathtubs. The deck is large enough for five adults and two bikes....and the view from sunrise until bedtime is spectacular. It was a joy to walk out the back door and down the building's private boardwalk right onto the beach. It is a quiet, family-oriented beach, good because of the two little girls in our family. It was a relief to stay in a very clean, well-appointed home with plenty of kitchen equipment, up-to-date appliances, and decent linens with beds already made when we arrived! Booking, check-in and check-out were all easy, although it would have been nice to know that our condo was ready for us early. We wasted two hours thinking we couldn't get keys until 4. So in spite of the instructions, it may pay to show up for the keys early, just in case you're lucky! We were all very, very happy here. And we were sad to leave. Signs of a great, stress-free vacation!

My family had a great time at your condo. Everything was super clean and comfortable. Basic necessities were available to get us started through our time there. The views were fantastic and we loved the straight access to the beach. It was extremely quiet and a great place for our young family. The pictures and description of the location was right on and the help you all gave us prior to our trip with things to do was very helpful! If I could say one thing I wish was different, I would say the pillows on our bed were a tad uncomfortable. However, we could always bring our own pillows next time! Thanks for the great place for our spring break vacation!

I have never stayed at a vacation home that was SO true to the description and photos provided. Every amenity was carefully thought of and provided. The view was more awesome than words could say. We are already planning a family vacation for next year. Thank you! On a constructively positive note, I would like to request that proper communications are practiced between each vacation coordinator and their cleaning services. We had an unfortunate circumstance (twice) while sitting on our balcony. The cleaning crew in the unit above us tossed buckets of dirty water over the balcony above, which allowed for gravity to do its job and the water sprayed on us and the furniture. The next day, the crew was cleaning the balcony above and did the exact same thing...but much worse. Buckets of water with cleaning solution poured over the edge, landing on our balcony in puddles and on furniture (and me too) Of course I screamed as it startled me greatly and the cleaning person yelled, " I'm sorry" I do understand accidents happen but I hope this is remedied. I wouldn't want an angry person to respond to such an incident. I also know that the cleaning person was not hired by iTrip. He was hired from another vacation coordinator renting out the unit above us. Simple communication would remedy this I am sure. We didn't let it ruin our trip though. Found a five gallon bucket and with three fill ups, rinsed our balcony...good as new :)
