Wildhorse Retreat is located in the Wildhorse Meadows neighborhood, an exclusive Steamboat vacation venue. The benefits are endless and it all starts with its tremendous location, only about 1/4 mile away from the complex's private gondola that takes you directly to the resort and base area.

You are also less than 3 miles from downtown, ideally situated and tucked away in a private neighborhood that offers peace and quiet and convenience. You can easily get anywhere within the Steamboat city limits with on-call shuttle service (winter only).

Wildhorse Meadows also boasts the best amenities in Steamboat. The pool area is unrivaled offering a large, heated pool and 3 rocky mountain style hot tubs, all with gorgeous mountain views. You’ll also have access to a state of the art fitness center, game room (with a pool table and foosball table) and a beautiful community grilling area with 2 large gas grills and a fire pit.

Wildhorse Retreat itself is not only one of our newest listings, but our most modern. Built in 2019, no expense was spared and the end result could not have turned out better. The professionally designed interiors are stunning and immaculate featuring fantastic flooring, furniture, fixtures and finishes, as well as high ceilings and sensational natural light throughout the home. The panoramic Emerald Mountain and Yampa Valley views from almost every room of the home are breathtaking and unforgettable.

The beautiful and very spacious, 2,411 sq ft, three bedroom plus office, three full bathroom single level condo lives more like a single family home but no stairs are required to access or once inside. The property is very spread out offering privacy within the unit and can comfortably sleep eight adults (including the sleeper sofa in the office) and features two King en suites, a private hot tub, unforgettable views, as well as something extremely rare in Steamboat for the Summer months…. central air conditioning!

Enter the property either through the front door or the attached, heated and oversized one car garage, which provides parking and storage for skis, bikes and more, as well as a second refrigerator for your use.

When using the front door entrance, you find yourself in a sizable and convenient foyer, which offers hooks, bins and a large bench and provides ample storage for your coats, boots and much more.

The foyer leads you into one of the condo’s highlights, the roomy open-concept great room.

Kick back and relax on the cozy sofa and loveseat and take in the views or watch a game, movie or show on the 65” large flat screen smart TV and warm up by the gas fireplace. You will swear it is wood burning, just without the hassle or mess.

Cook and dine with the aesthetic views as the backdrop. The well-designed, fully stocked, professional kitchen features Bosch stainless appliances, including a five burner gas range, gorgeous quartz countertops, beautiful cabinetry and everything you will need to cook a meal from small appliances, cookware, dinnerware, utensils and more.

Dining options include a fabulous table with eight chairs along with five comfortable kitchen counter chairs.

Access the huge deck with the private hot tub from the living area.

Off of the living area there is the office, which also functions as a fourth bedroom with a desk, chair, and full sized sleeper sofa. It does have a door for offering complete privacy. Combined with high speed Xfinity broadband WiFi, this makes the Wildhorse Retreat perfect for your remote working needs.

The two king en suites and queen bedroom all have large windows with plenty of light and the great views and are dispersed on either side of the great room. On one side is the master king en suite offering a large flat screen smart TV, dresser and a large bathroom that includes a walk in closet, dual vanities plus a separate make up area and a walk in shower.

The other king en suite and queen bedroom are on the other side of the great room. The king en suite also has a large flat screen smart TV, dresser and a large bathroom that includes a walk in closet, dual vanities and a walk in shower.

The queen bedroom also has a flat screen tv, dresser and closet.

There is a full bathroom directly across from this room in the hallway with a tub shower combo.

Wildhorse Retreat has it’s own private laundry room off the great room with a full size washer and dryer.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

Frequently Asked Questions

Tenant agrees to leave premises/contents in same condition as found upon move-in, normal wear/wear expected
Max number of occupants shall not be exceeded. Occupancy exceeding/using premises for illegal activity/causing damage to premises or neighboring properties and other acts which interferes with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises.
No open flames. Candle burning not permitted on balconies/in unit with exception of wood burning fireplace. Do not remove smoke detectors. Use stove fan when cooking to avoid smoke alarm activation.
There is no daily maid service but can be arranged for fee.
"No pets" policy must be observed (unless noted as pet friendly/fees have been paid). If evidence found you will be asked to vacate immediately with no refund of rent/deposit.
No smoking in unit. Damage deposit will be forfeited/you will incur charge of $1000 if you opted for damage insurance as smoking is not covered. You will incur additional charge for carpet cleaning and deodorizing if evidence of smoking.
Reservations are not made by or for a minor, defined as person under age of 25. We require one member of party to be 25. Violators will be evicted with forfeiture of all monies.
Owner/owners agents may enter premises in case of an emergency; to make any necessary repairs/alterations/improvements/supply necessary services/show premises to prospective purchasers/renters/contractors. Owner will provide at least 24 hrs notice of intent to enter (except in case of emergency)
Report maintenance needs, we will respond as quickly as possible. Refunds will not be made for maintenance issues including, but not limited to heating/air conditioning/appliances/televisions.
iTrip or Owner, do not assume liability for loss/damage/injury to persons/personal property nor accepts liability for inconveniences/damage/loss/injury arising from temporary defects/stoppage of water/gas/cable/wifi/electricity/plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions/natural disasters/acts of God/other reasons beyond its control.
Tenant acknowledges if premises reserved includes a community pool, the undersigned agrees and acknowledges pool/patio/deck can be dangerous, the deck/patio can be slippery when wet, and injury may occur if not careful. With full knowledge of above,Tenant accepts/assumes all risks involved to Tenant/Tenant's guests related to use of pool/patio areas.
Tenant fully releases/discharges Owner from all liabilities/claims/demands/causes of action by reason of any injury/loss of damage by whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any guests as result, or connection with occupancy of premises and agrees to hold Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover any reasonable attorneys fees and costs. Owner reserves right to terminate this Agreement upon their discretion at any time.
Any violation that incurs a fine will be tenant responsibility. Examples include improper trash disposal, smoking, excessive noise, parking violations.
