Originally started as a Colorado summer resort destination, Steamboat Springs has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat Springs vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Suit up for fun winter activities such as skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding, ice climbing and fishing, to name a few. The city houses two ski areas – the Steamboat Springs Ski Area and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or you can simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat Springs. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails and rides for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track are available, as well as more than 50 miles of downhill and freeride bike terrain.

We had a great stay. We loved the location, the condo was clean and well appointed. We went to the pool everyday after biking/hiking. Our only complaint was the road noise at night when the windows were open!

The condo is really well-appointed and clean. It is close to the mountain resort and a quick drive (or a long nice riverside walk) to the Steamboat town center. Facilities are great with an OPEN pool (still no access to hot tubs as of this writing). We've stayed here once before and would do it again.

The condo was very clean and spacious. The garage parking and pool/hot tub are very convenient. The condo is also a short walk to the base of the ski hill and a short drive from downtown. There is also a nice market/liquor store that is a one block walk from the condo. Would like to stay here again!

This is a very well stocked, comfortable and maintained condo. It was very clean. The property managers were exceptionally responsive and helpful. The location is convenient to town, the free buses and the ski area. What I did not like was the condo is ground level and very close to the pedestrian sidewalk and a regularly used road. This makes it noisy and dark. My visit was in the summer and this may not be as much of an issue in the winter.

We had a great time at the Timberline condo at Trappeurs Crossing in Steamboat! Our unit was very clean and nice - very comfortable beds too. It had everything we needed to cook some meals in the unit as we have two kids who never stop eating. Our boys had a fabulous time swimming in the pool and loved how they could swim from outside to the inside part. The hot tubs were awesome after days of hiking, biking and running! We loved everything about our stay in Steamboat and I would definitely recommend this condo. The owner, Jason, was great to work with and responded immediately with any questions I had.

Timberline Lodge at Trappuer's Crossing was the perfect spot for a mountain getaway. Walking distance to the gondola, this 2 bed / 2 bath provided plenty of room for our group, yet cozy enough to enjoy a home cooked meal around the fireplace. The condo had everything we needed and more with access to a heat pool and hot tubs. Booking through iTrip Vacations was easy and the team was helpful with questions and ensuring timely payment. We look forward to our next booking with iTrip!

My family and I had a great time at the Timberland Lodge at Trappuer's Crossing #2104. Jason was an amazing host. All directions and guidelines were thoroughly explained and made our vacation a spectacular time. The unit was completely stocked with all supplies that we would need. I would recommend Jason to anyone that is interested in staying in the Steamboat area.

I left a review of Trappers Lodge earlier. I stated that one bed was not made and that was incorrect. A mistake by me as the sheets were on the bed.

Directions were a little hard when the numbers of the building can’t be seen from the street. Freezer circulating fan is noisy. We had to make the second bed for our granddaughter to spend the nights. The sheets were found in the dryer. Hot water takes an eternity. The condo was clean and well stocked.. The lighting is a challenge for older folks.
