If you want a wonderfully cozy and perfectly romantic get-away, Misty View's cozy comforts await.

Family Friendly Fun Too: Would you love for your kids to put down their devices and get outside? Kids will love exploring nature all around Misty View - fireflies in June, berries in August, and paths all year round. There's space to have a catch, play hide & seek, and more. Nature beckons for outdoor play.

Come to Misty View and enjoy all the fun Stinson Lake & Stinson Mountain offer. Stinson Lake, a deep-water, glacier lake, is one of the few NH lakes without parasitic plants; its waters boast 25-foot visibility. Perfect for water play – fish, boat, paddle, and swim in Stinson Lake’s refreshing, clear water.

Misty View is close to Stinson Mountain, a lesser-known peak of New Hampshire’s White Mountains. As with all White Mountain National Forest venues, guests can enjoy hiking, climbing, mountaineering, snow shoeing, and more. With an elevation of 2,890 feet, Stinson Mountain has some family-friendly walks that lead to great views! Prefer to ride? Misty View is surrounded by peaceful winding country roads – take a ride and enjoy! Prefer spelunking? Misty View is less than 15 minutes to Polar Caves Park. Prefer Rock Climbing? Rattlesnake Mountain is just 15 minutes from Misty View.

Rumney, famous for rock climbing, is known for its crags and rock, known as schist. Rock climbing at Rumney offers aretes, grooves, dikes, corners, and cracks, making it a perfect climbing destination for many people. Bouldering is also offered at Rumney! Most of their routes range in the 5.9-5.11 range. The routes have fun names: Armed and Dangerous, Off My Medication, Waimea, Peer Pressure, Flesh for Lulu, Apocalypse Later, Captain Hook, and Orange Crush.

After a day of adventure, return to Misty View to relax and enjoy family and friends. Hang out on the decks – gather around the dining table: enjoy dinner, play board games, or make a puzzle. Prefer comfy conversation: the living room provides cozy seating for conversation over cocktails. Prefer to watch a show? The living room provides a big screen, smart TV. Watch your favorite streaming services!

As your evening winds down, Misty View comfortably sleeps 4 guests in the living room and sleeping loft. The sleeping loft has a King bed; the living room has 2 Twin daybeds. With a blend of king and twin beds, Misty View easily accommodates couples, singles, and kids. 1 full bath with a tub/shower combination rounds out the accommodations.

Have a furry family member? Misty View will host a small to medium sized dog. Good news! Rates include one small to medium dog. If you want to bring an additional dog, additional fees may apply. Please do let the hosts know about your furry family member.

About Misty View Accommodations

As you enter Misty View, hang your coat on a hook, put your shoes in a cubby, slip on your slippers - welcome home. Now enter the kitchen, and you're drawn to the wall of windows and that amazing view! A fully applianced kitchen with all the conveniences of home: dishwasher, stove with oven, fridge with freezer. The eat-in kitchen has a dining table for four where everyone can enjoy the expansive view. The back door leads to the 1st floor deck with large gas grill and outdoor dining.

Ascend the stairs to the living room. Another back door leads to the second level deck with outdoor seating and, yes, that amazing view. The living room has two daybed/couches and a love seat. Great space to gather and watch the huge (75inch TV). The day beds provide comfy sleeping for 2.

Ascend the next set of stairs to the loft. The loft offers a king-sized bed with 2 bedside tables each with a lamp. If you must work, Misty View's loft has a desk with chair.

-Each of property features a starter set of supplies for guests which includes toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, & hand soap.

-The beds are fully made & ready for your arrival with freshly laundered linens. A set of towels for each registered guest are included in the rental rate.

- For family friendly homes, children's furnishings are available for an additional charge (as availability permits).
