The Lovers Key building exterior repainting and balcony project is projected to occur 11/30/23-5/31/24. This project will involve workers on site, swing stations and contractor noise between 9 a.m.-5 p.m. This is an estimated completion time frame provided by the Lovers Association Management. Factors outside of the general contractor's control, to include inclement weather may alter the timing and completion of the project. The Lovers Key Resort, amenities, pool and restaurant will remain open during the exterior repainting and balcony project.
While Fort Myers Beach continues to rebuild from the impacts of Hurricane Ian and though our island paradise may look a bit different than it once did, the sun continues to shine each day and brings with it spectacular sunsets to savor and new memories to be made. At the resort, you are minutes away from Lovers Key State Park, where you will enjoy the beach, biking, walking trails, and miles of kayaking, canoeing, or paddle boarding on the Estero Bay estuaries. At the entrance to the resort is the "Trollee" stop - Lee's County's beach trolley that can take you up and down the coast, from Bonita Beach to Fort Myers Beach, with stops along the way.
Immediately to the north of the resort is Estero Island, the home of Fort Myers Beach. There you will find miles of beaches, restaurants, parasailing, water sports, fishing, shopping, and plenty of people watching! The iconic Times Square is at the northern end of Fort Myers Beach, and a fun spot to spend an evening or two on your vacation.
