Welcome to Casa del Sol Naciente - "House of the Rising Sun"!

Take in the beautiful sunrise with your morning coffee and relax with the ocean waves. Whether you are relaxing in one of the 2 living areas, on the main deck, the yard or on the beach - this is a fabulous home to be your escape!

Conveniently located between Historic St Augustine and Ponte Vedra & Jacksonville Beach, Casa del Sol Naciente has everything you would want for your vacation! Direct beach access from the stairs at the rear of the property.

Two private owner suites with en suite bathrooms and two additional guest bedrooms, one featuring a queen bed and the other with three twin beds. Plenty of room to spread out! There are Smart TV's in the two private owner suites as well as the guest bedroom with the queen bed. There is a Smart TV in the first level living area as well as the 2nd level game area. Be sure to bring your login information for your favorite subscriptions or watch on any of the Free Apps provided!

Entering on the main level, to the right will be the first spacious Owner's Suite with King Size Bed has sliding doors that open onto the main deck and gorgeous ocean views & breezes. En suite bathroom featuring dual sinks and beautifully tiled walk-in shower.

After entering, to the left will be the main living area featuring full sliding collapsible doors, Smart TV and fireplace. There is a full kitchen, also with ocean views and sliding doors to the main deck. A full compliment of appliances including multi-use air fryer, drip coffee maker, toaster, microwave, full stove/oven, stainless steel refrigerator and dishwasher. There is a guest half-bath located off of the main living area. The door to the garage will provide the laundry facilities as well as the noted "guest section" where beach gear will be located. We have 2 Charcoal Grills available for use during your stay. 1 small starter bag of Charcoal is provided. The grills must be pulled out from the garage and onto the driveway for use. They may not be used in the garage or on any of the deck areas of the home.

Make your way out the sliding doors to the main deck with a variety of seating options. A few stairs down to the yard where there is additional seating and a short walk to the stairs that lead directly to the beach! We provide a variety of beach gear for use during your stay. There is a hose on both the main deck and lower deck so you can wash the sand off your feat after spending your day at the beach! The main deck area is secured with lockable gates to assist with children or your pet! At the base of the deck in the yard are hooks where you may hang your towels/swim suits for drying! Be sure to shake off the sand before entering the home. We do our best to keep the stairs to the beach as clear from sand as possible, however the tides & wind have their own ideas! Always use the hand rails when going up or down the stairs to the beach.

Back inside, let's head up the stairs to the second level! Three more guest bedrooms and second level living area.

The 2nd Owner's Suite features a King bed and en suite bathroom with walk-in shower and walk-in closet. Continuing you will enter the second living area that features comfortable seating, Smart TV and gaming system and arcade game. A great place for the kids! Off of the living area is a full bathroom including tub and two other guest bedrooms. One features a queen bed and the other has three twin beds. There is a side exit with stairs leading back to the main deck.

**Parties, Gatherings or Events that take us over our max occupancy of 9 guests are strictly prohibited - as noted in the rental agreement. Penalties will be enforced. The property is monitored by Noise Aware * Minut as noted in the booking agreement. There is a Ring Doorbell as well as an exterior Ring Camera facing A1A for security purposes and 1 exterior camera facing the beach. There are not any other cameras on the property. Quiet Hours are enforced - and please remember to be a good neighbor to those around us! Guests of the property have an affirmative obligation to comply with the provisions of Section 2.02.04.B.19, St. Johns County Noise Ordinance (Ord. 2015-19), and all other applicable federal, state, and local law ordinances. Guests hereby acknowledge and understand the right of St. Johns County officials to reasonably inspect the premises to assurance compliance with said obligations.

Parking: there is room for a vehicle to park in the garage as well as additional driveway parking. (Maximum # of vehicles is 3). Please be aware when entering & exiting the property. A1A does have a lot of sightseers! Motor vehicles, boats, Recreational Vehicles (RVs), and trailers shall be parked only in driveways or other areas on the property designated for parking. Boats, RVs and trailers shall not be parked on any street, alley, sidewalk, or public or private Right-of-Way, or part thereof, or in required front yards, except as provided in Section 6.01.03.H.5 of this Code. Vehicles larger than an SUV (motor homes, trailers, RV's, boats,etc) must be approved in advance and must not go over the maximum # of vehicles allowed on the premises.

Dog Friendly - dogs less than 30 lbs - additional cleaning/pet hair removal fee required. Pets must be disclosed in advance. Fee is per pet. All dogs are to be treated with Advantage or similar topical flea and tick repellent three (3) days prior to arrival. Fleas and ticks are very rampant in this area and can cause harmful/fatal illness to humans and pets. All items above are the sole responsibility of the dog owner. Failure to disclose the pet in advance will result in a $500 fee.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please remember you are in Florida, where temperatures routinely exceed 90 degrees during the day. A properly functioning AC system can, at the most, lower the temperature 20 degrees from the outside temperature, so if it's over 90 degrees outside, the AC will struggle to cool the house below 75 degrees. Setting the temperature 20 degrees or more below the outside temperature or running it with windows and/or doors open will cause the AC system to run excessively while it attempts to achieve the set temperature and may cause the HVAC system to freeze and malfunction.  If this happens, you may incur an additional charge for AC repair and you will not have any AC until the repair service is able to resolve the issue.  Refunds are not given for this.  We recommend keeping blinds and curtains closed during the day to limit light/heat from entering the property.  The hottest part of the day will be between 2pm and 7pm - you should not anticipate the AC to be able to start to drop the temperature lower until after that time has past and the sun has set.
We get asked about Palmetto Bugs all the time.  They have been in Florida for a LONG TIME!  They can be pretty big, they fly and will scurry around the floor but they are largely harmless. They do occasionally come inside, especially at night and during or after any storms. We have a lot more sightings during our summer rainy season.  We have regular pest control service at all of our properties to assist in managing them.  However, they will get in thru open doors, garages, windows, etc.  

Tree Frogs & Lizards are also indigenous to our tropical climate and will be around all of our properties.   These are good for the environment and are not anything that we treat for!  You may find the occasional one has gotten into the property and not made it out - or has gotten in and is hopping around.   There is nothing wrong with this - it is part of our local environment.  

This is really just informational.  They are a part of our Florida Tropical Climate.  No refunds are given for these issues. Thank you!

Tenant is at least twenty-five (25) years of age and will be an occupant of the unit during the entire reserved dates. In addition to Tenant, other authorized occupants that have been identified to us are included.  Should any unauthorized persons occupy or use the Premises, Tenant shall vacate the premises immediately without any refund. Rental status is transient and gives no residential claim to the guests.  Transient accommodations, or "short term rentals" are also subject to applicable Florida Sales and County tourist development taxes which are added as a part of your total payment.  Should the laws change regarding applicable taxes, we will adjust your reservation accordingly.  This may include an additional charge should tax rates be increased or a refund if tax rates are decreased.
Reservations made for teenagers or young single groups will not be honored without any accompanying adult staying in the unit at ALL times. We require at least one member of the party to be 25 (twenty-five) years of age! Any violators will be evicted according to Florida Statute 508.141 with forfeiture of all monies.
The maximum number of occupants allowed per property is listed in the property description.  Maximum capacity applies to any given time, such as during a gathering of people at the property that includes guests that are not staying overnight.  If maximum capacity is exceeded, occupancy may be terminated without a refund.
Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of reservation deposit, damage deposit, and/or balance of rental payment.
Dogs only are allowed on property - must be disclosed in advance and pet fee paid.  Max 2. If there is evidence of pets without disclosure, a $500 fine will be charged.  Less than 30 lbs only.
Smoking is strictly prohibited. Your damage deposit will be forfeited, and you will incur an additional charge for carpet cleaning and deodorizing if any evidence of smoking is found.  Or you will be billed a $500 penalty for violating the Smoking Policy.   Smoking would include all forms of tobacco, cigarettes, pipes, cigars, e-cigarettes, vaping, etc.
Linens & towels are provided. Excessive Stains, Damage or loss of the Linens will result in a $50 Charge.  An initial supply of paper products is provided. Extra items needed are the responsibility of the Tenant. Limited cleaning supplies are provided.  There is a $50 fee to restage the house if furniture is moved around and not returned to its original place.
Property Damage must be advised BEFORE departure.   Failure to disclose may result in an additional charge.
Posted on the refrigerator & are standard for short term rental properties.   Failure to complete these instructions will result in an additional charge of $50 per hour for completion. 
Firearms & Weapons
The safety and security of our guests and staff is extremely important to us.  Our Firearms and Weapons Policy is designed for the protection of our guests, vendors, staff, and owners, and pertains to the presence of firearms and weapons on the premises.  Agent recognizes that guests and vendors may legally possess firearms or weapons for a variety of legitimate purposes.  This policy has been developed to create a safe environment by providing appropriate guidance over the custody of firearms and weapons on our premises.  All of iTrip Vacations homes are private property.  Guests, who are lawfully permitted to possess a firearm or weapon, may bring such onto our premises for storage purposes only, with the understanding that they are personally responsible for the following:
  • Guests must abide by all Federal, State and local laws.
  • Firearm and weapons must be appropriately registered.
  • Firearms must be unloaded
  • No cleaning of firearms is permitted on the premises.
  • Firearms and weapons must be safeguarded and secured in either a locked, hard sided firearm container or a soft gun case provided by the guest, at all times and clearly labeled with their name and contact information.
  • No fireworks of any kind, including sparklers.

When you book our property, we will text, message or email you the code to your identified contact preference - 2 hours prior to your arrival.   This will give you access to the front door of the property.   Additionally, names & ages of each guest are required in advance of your arrival;  make/model of your vehicle(s) are required upon arrival.   Maximum Occupancy of both persons and vehicles is enforced.  
We do not allow birds (including parrots), reptiles, livestock, fish or any other exotic animals in any of our properties at any time - regardless of being designated as pet friendly.  
Please be aware - when you bring in all of your groceries and load up the refrigerator - it is going to take time to cool everything back down!  Make sure you do not block the vent that brings in the air-flow.  The more full the refrigerator is - the harder it is to keep everything cool.  It needs unrestricted air-flow & circulation to be able to keep everything to the appropriate temperature.  Once you put everything in - please wait a minimum of 4 hours before reaching out that there is an issue.  We won't be able to do anything until that much time has already passed since you inserted your items.  Thank You!
Guests are not authorized to perform, schedule or coordinate any repairs to anything at the property during their stay.  Any issues that arise where maintenance or repairs are needed will be coordinated by the host only.
