3 night stay at Powder Run

We had a great experience staying 3 nights at Powder Run. The location is excellent! A five minute walk to Snow Park Lodge where we valeted our skis and boots for free the whole time. In the morning we took a leisurely walk over, got into our equipment, and right in line to the lift we went. Not as much action in Deer Valley but we Ubered to Main Street, Park City at night for more fun!

We have been coming to Deer Valley for the last 13 years over Christmas break. This was by far one of the easiest check in experiences. We contacted itrip about groceries and ski deliveries and all was taken care of upon our arrival. They were also able to let us check in early when our flight landed before schedule. The condo is lovely and it’s a perfect location. Can’t wait to come back

Location, location, location

We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend in Deer Valley to escape the summer heat of Texas. The condo was comfortable and well-equipped. Our only negative is that the AC can’t be set below 73° so during the day, it was stuffy and the bedrooms were hot at night (no window screens in the bedroom so we didn’t feel comfortable leaving them open overnight). I’m glad the weather was mild for our visit so it wasn’t unbearable. What we enjoyed: being close to the bus stop, live music at night, several restaurants, full kitchen, and protected parking. The property management was super-responsive to questions and concerns. Would definitely stay here again in the cooler months!

We stayed here our first time visiting Deer Valley and loved it. Great location a few steps from Snow Park Lodge and the St. Regis Funicular. The condo unit was beautifully decorated and suited our needs for family ski vacation perfectly.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Deer Valley Powder Run Penthouse for MLK weekend. The place is absolutely amazing; it has indoor parking, tons of space, high ceilings, washer/dryer, gas fireplace and hot tub. Our group was more than comfortable and the space is very clean. If you are skiing Deer Valley, it is a 5 minute walk (probably one of the closest units to the mountain in Powder Run) which is super convenient. Additionally, it is a 5 minute drive to Park City. We would highly recommend this unit. Can't wait to re-visit Deer Valley! Thank you for the hospitality. A++++

We had a beautiful condo with adequate amenities. Communication was good, but our issue was not addressed during our stay. Hot tub needed attention in order to be used and it was not addressed after contacting iTrip. However, the condo was clean and the stay was really nice.

We have really enjoyed our stay at Power Run. It has been cozy and comfortable. The private hot tub has been a plus! We absolutely love the view of the amazing and beautiful colors of fall covering the mountains. Our only complaint would be the tv/tv’s. We love to kickback and chill by watching our shows. There isn’t a Smart TV nor tv’s in the bedrooms.

Our family of 4 loved this condo. We were there over Spring Break and it was very convenient to get to Snow Park Lodge every morning. On a week with no snow and the slopes and tubing pushed back a week, we still had a great time. Mostly, the condo was perfect for 4 of us. Especially the views And we noted that we have never rented a condo that was so well stocked. Literally everything. We shopped before we saw it so we of course bought too much of everything - and we left it for the next guests.

The condo was comfortable and clean. Directions for getting to and entering the condo were great. It was very spacious and great location for our conference at the st Regis. The air conditioning did not work the first night and they promptly refunded our first night and fixed it I would recommend iTrip highly

We very much enjoyed our stay at powder run. The condo was clean, well stocked and perfect for our group. The hot tub was an added bonus as we used it multiple times because of the convenience. We also use the complementary ski rental for one of our guests and it was ideal, they delivered the skis to our door and pick them up from us.

We had a great trip. The house was big enough for our family ski trip very comfortable. Very nice gourmet kitchen which was well stocked and made it easy to prepare meals. Nice to have a private hot tub for after skiing. Great location easy walk to ski slope. We will definitely stay here again.

This unit was wonderful for our family of four and one guest. Accommodations are outstanding. This third floor unit has tall ceilings in both masters. The upstairs double beds were comfortable. All bedding was great...plenty of extra blankets if needed. Lots of comfortable chairs and couches and a great layout. High quality furniture and all the comforts of home. Kitchen literally has everything you need. Hot tub stays the perfect temp. Garage had plenty of spaces for us. Washer and dryer worked great. Deer Valley was a short walk away. There really wasn’t anything that we could complain about. It’s a great place!

Great Deer Valley Stay

Stayed here for a week with our 3 sons, ages 25, 23 and 20. The location for skiing is perfect. Easy walk to lifts and Snow Park Lodge. The condo is comfortable and clean. Used kitchen extensively and had everything we needed. Fireplace was beautiful and it was wonderful having a private hot tub to use after a day of skiing. Parking garage was a huge bonus. Short drive to eat and shop in Park City. Would definitely stay here again.

Everything about the home was as good as it gets! The location is great. For a skier, I don't think there can be a better location. Deer Valley is very beautiful. You are steps away from the funicular and lift. There is a free shuttle going to Deer Valley to Main Street every couple minutes, bus stop is couple minutes walking distance to the home. One of the best vacation experiences I've ever had!

Best location possible and lives like a home

This property is ideally located at the base of Deer Valley. While we were there in the summer, we still took advantage of the great location to do local hikes and bike rides. The unit is about as well outfitted as it could be. Every little creature comfort is present in the kitchen. The living room and decks are comfortable, the media is all there, and it just feels like home. The bedrooms and bathrooms are fully stocked and comfortable as well. This was my first use of a VRBO property and I am sold. I would rent this unit again in a minute!

Our family had a wonderful time together skiing Deer Valley for spring break. This property was super close to the slopes so a simple walk across the street is all it took to start our ski day. The large balcony/porch with hot tub was a wonderful way to end a full day of skiing. The well appointed kitchen and dining room were great gathering spots for our meals and more time together. The property was over decorated with too much stuff, so we didn't have enough room on counters in the bathrooms for our stuff and had to create large piles of pillows on the floor as there were far too many everywhere. Overall a great place with a great location

2400 Deer Valley Dr, #A31, Park City, UT

The location of this property is convenient as it is very close to the St. Regis. However, there are a few issues with the property: 1. The ability to adjust the thermostat was problematic. The upstairs area could not be used as it was way too hot (felt like a sauna!), and downstairs we had to open windows as the heat was way too high 2. The property needs to be renovated, as the carpet is well worn and the bathrooms need a make-over. The kitchen was decent, and the gas fireplace worked well. The outside sauna did not look appealing--needs some major work! 3. The hallways leading to the Unit were freezing--I guess the property does not use heat in the common areas. We felt as though we were entering a freezer every time we left the Unit. It was striking how cold the hallway was in comparison to the high heat in the Unit. 4. Someone from the Property Management office came into our Unit when we were in the Unit to clean the outside sauna without notifying us. My daughter and I were about to leave the Unit when this person just entered the Unit without showing id. Should have a better communication strategy as we waited for her to leave before exiting since we did not know who she was! Also, notifications from the management company was under par. We had to call several times to gain entrance into the unit, and for some reason, housekeeping came without us confirming. Take out of garbage was a bit of a hassle as the garbage is in the garage and you have to walk through the freezing hallways to get there! While we nevertheless had a wonderful time in Park City/Deer Valley, I do not expect to return to this Unit.

Dear Roy, this review is very disappointing to read. Future guests should note this is one of our most popular and well reviewed homes. It is extremely well maintained with a generously stocked kitchen. This guest requested mid-stay housekeeping, this is why the housekeeper showed up during their stay. The hot tub maintenance staff generally attempts to access the hot tub from within the home first before trudging through snow. If you were not there they would have accessed it from outside. We insist on regular hot tub maintenance so our guests have a safe and clean tub to relax in. We wish you safe travels home.

This condo was fantastic! From the covered and secure garage to the hot tub on the deck, this unit didn’t disappoint. We were there to celebrate Thanksgiving with a few of our adult children and this turned out to be the perfect place for us to stay. The Deer Valley/Park City area is an amazing place to visit with an abundance of activities. This unit is located perfectly to enjoy it all. Since we were celebrating Thanksgiving we ended up cooking in the unit. The kitchen had everything we needed! It is a very well appointed kitchen. It was even equipped with nice china, place settings, and a table cloth. The large windows in the living room were great for watching the snow pile up outside. The hot tub on the deck was just the right temperature and the perfect place for a nightcap after the days were done. All in all this was a wonderful place to stay with very responsive hosts. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great location in the Park City area.

Wonderful rental! iTrip was responsive, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. The condo was fantastic: clean, beautiful, with great views and amenities. It's extremely close to Deer Valley skiing...just a few minutes walk to the lift. Underground parking was secure and dry. The condo is also just a few minutes from a shuttle to downtown Park City. I will book here again when back in the area.

We highly recommend the Deer Valley Powder Run condo! The location was highly convenient to the Deer Valley base lodge ... just a five minute walk. Inside, the condo had everything you could hope for: clean, fully equipped open-kitchen, spacious common space with gas fireplace and a nice loft with two beds. We also took advantage of the hot tub. Finally, we mistakenly left some small items behind and the iTrip team were kind enough to send them to us immediately. We had a wonderful time and would look to rebook the condo on our next trip.

iTrip was a great host, very easy to communicate with and responsive. Condo is in a great location at the base of Deer Valley, right next to the St. Regis. 3rd floor gives you great views, and has 2 separate balconies. We had 6 people, there is plenty of room and the living area is spacious. Underground parking is great.

Would Definitely Stay Again!

This is a clean, lovely condo with great views of Deer Valley base and an very easy walk to the lifts. It's right across from the first parking lot, so you can't get closer if you stay at mountain base. Note that there's no bathtub, but the showers were great and the hot tub was a wonderful amenity. iTrip was very easy to communicate with; I would definitely stay here again.

Great location & fully stocked home

Great location right next to Deer Valley lifts and the St. Regis. Able to walk a couple minutes to the free city bus. The house is stocked full with all the requisite amenities. The owner came by a couple of times and helped ensure all things were in place. The description is clear about there not being an AC, but it can get a little warm, during the time of year we were there, but they provided a number of fans which helped out quite a bit. Park City is great place during the summer. We were there with our 3 kids and they really enjoyed the stay and all the activities. There were some activities that were offered with the stay which we did not take advantage of but looked very interesting. Dori was also very responsive with any questions. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

Deer Valley Condo

We loved the condo. Great location and has all the amenities that anyone could ask for. Except, the A/C doesn’t work very well. The people sleeping in the loft were hot and did not sleep well at all. Also,if you were second in line to take a shower, there was no hot water and we don’t take long showers. Maybe the water heater needs to be turned up? Other than that, the condo is excellent.

Beautiful Deer Valley Condo

We stayed two nights in this beautiful condo. The location is ideal and all necessities and more were supplied. It easily accommodated five adults. Our only issue was the air conditioning system did not work sufficiently but it was very hot outside (high 80 to mid 90’s) and this was rectified with a very reasonable refund with no hassle. Best efforts were made to get a service tech out. Would stay again!

Picturesque Paradise

No stone left unturned with this home! Kitchen is equipped with anything you need or want. Gas grill and hot tub on the patio we’re great! Just steps to the ski lifts and ski school. Two roomy well decorated master suites downstairs. Upstairs has 2 doubles for 4 children. The massive stone fireplace and wood staircase in the family room is such a gorgeous statement to the mountain homes well appointed decor. Elevator and enclosed parking garage.

Powder Run Deer Valley

Great location, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. We had trouble regulating the heat...when the bottom floor was a comfortable temperature, the loft was way too hot to sleep. We also wished for a little better entryway storage for all of our helmets, gloves, and other ski accessories. However, our biggest issue was with the hot water. We are a family of 5, and there was not enough hot water for all 5 of us to get a shower in the evening. I called to report this, and they did send a maintenance person the next morning, but the problem persisted. I felt like this was too nice a property to have such an issue. We were also disappointed with the choice of artwork in one of the master bedrooms. It was a very large painting of a nude female, and with our 3 boys (6, 10, and 13), we felt like it was inappropriate. While I can understand others’ taste in art, had I known this was on the wall I would have chosen a different condo. It was not shown in any of the pictures on the listing, and the listing was identified as “family friendly”.

We will have an HVAC tech over to look at the heat to see if there's anything that can be done about the loft being warm; we are aware that it can get warm up there (as heat rises) if the fireplace in the family room has been on and will make sure there is nothing larger at play. We have not heard the hot water challenge from any other guests but we will also look at at the hot water heater and will replace it if necessary. I will specifically mention you felt the artwork deemed the home not "family friendly" and let the home owners decide what they would like to do with their home. Thank you again.

Perfect Location

We loved the condo. The location was perfect for our family to take the kids to Ski School. There was nothing missing from kitchen to cook at the end of the day. The view was beautiful and we enjoyed using the hot tub at the end of a long day on the slopes. The Loft was perfect for the girls. We are looking forward to staying here next year!

The door code did not work and we couldn't access the apartment for several hours the day we arrived. Apparently, the number left to contact if there's a problem is just for an answering service who themselves have only one number to contact. So constantly calling them did no good. We ended up having to check into a hotel. We were finally contacted just after that. The lady was very nice and immediately agreed to refund our first night. That's nice, but it doesnt do much for kids getting to bed a few hours late and causing massive inconvenience. More than inconvenience in this case because apparently the hotel restaurant doesnt understand food allergies and we came close to a hospital visit. A main reason we rent condos is so we can be in control of our kids' food, but that doesn't work if you can't access the condo.We couldn't cancel the hotel rooms at that point, so really it's not like there was any net compensation at all for our trouble. It's absolutely beyond me that a property management company operating something that costs several hundred dollars a night can't make sure its guests can get access to their room. The condo is otherwise nice once you can access it.

Dear Jonathan, We are sorry that you had issues upon check-in. We send our guests check-in procedures upon final payment, then we also send the check-in codes again two days prior to arrival. We also send a text message an hour before arrival providing guests multiple ways to contact us during the busy hours of check-in. We are sorry that none of these helped you in your time of need and are especially sorry it caused for difficulties for your family during your time in Park City.

Park City is a wonderful place for a vacation. Lots to do. Lots of golf courses at reasonable rates. Hiking is great. Easy trip into Salt Lake City for museums. Great National Parks within a day’s drive.

Best Located Condo in Lower Deer Valley

Nine out of ten things were just absolutely ideal for this condo. The location next to the funicular and Snow Park Lodge was so convenient! It was easy to catch the free Park City shuttles at Snow Park Lodge, we could walk to the Deer Valley Summer Concert Series (while everyone else was sitting in traffic), and we could walk to all of the activities at Snow Park Lodge. We did not have a car on this trip and it wasn't a problem given the condo's proximity to so many things in Deer Valley. (If not bringing a car, I would recommend pre-ordering a grocery delivery, however.) The condo's layout was super. We easily fit two grown-up couples and two kids with plenty of room in the upstairs loft to spare. The kitchen was very well-equipped; the owners clearly spend a good bit of time there and we appreciated how functional the kitchen was. The management company was very responsive with small needs as well. The only downside (if visiting in the summer) is that the condo has no A/C. The temps got near 90 degrees when we visited over July 4th. With all of the windows and doors open, the living room cooled off before midnight, but the bedrooms stayed at an uncomfortably elevated temperature well into the night. There is one ceiling fan upstairs that helped our kids while they slept. The lack of A/C is not an issue if you plan to visit during any season other than summer, but if you stay in the area in July and August, this might be a consideration. Overall, we would definitely stay in this rental again (but may rethink an air conditioned unit if during the summer months). It was a great stay!

Lovely and Perfectly located

We stayed here for five days. The location was perfect for deer valley slope. You can walk to the lifts. It’s right next to the St. Regis and I’d highly recommend head up for lunch or a drink. The bedrooms were spacious and well appointed. The kitchen was fabulous. The view was even better. We loved it. There was an issue with our shower that was repaired immediately.

Great stay in Deer Valley

We enjoyed our stay in Deer Valley and the condo at Powder Run. The location is unbeatable and the view is spectacular. It's steps away from skiing and the St. Regis Hotel. There is a free bus shuttle right outside the door, so everything is very convenient. The kitchen is very well stocked and the building is very quiet. The only issue we had was that the fireplace was not working, but a handyman came out that very night and fixed it. It was very cold, so it was nice to have the fireplace working. The check-in is very late, and so that was inconvenient, but it seems most hotels/condos/houses are headed that way. Our flight arrived in the morning, so we kept ourselves busy until time for check-in. Fortunately, the office staff let us know when the housekeepers were finished, so we were able to check in a bit sooner. We will definitely stay here again during the winter months.

Utah is great, Park City is great. Nice town, scenic, plenty to do, nice ski slopes. Were I to do it again I'd rent a condo from someone other than Park City Vacation Properties. The condo was very nice, but obviously has been allowed to suffer some from neglect. The fireplace didn't initially work, after a couple of maintenance calls they got it fixed. Gas grill didn't work. Oven door didn't properly close. Park City vacation properties gave us the wrong code to get in the garage so we waited a couple hours until someone from Powder Run properties came by for other reasons and let us in. (apparently both management entities manage properties at that location.) They almost never return calls if you leave a message reporting a problem. Email does get through to them, but when you are sitting in the driveway waiting to get in the garage that's not always helpful. The condo however was nice and very close to the slopes. Park City runs a very efficient bus line that will take you pretty much everywhere in the town. Overall it we had a very good vacation.

First of all great location and beautiful condo. I have stayed in many VRBO's throughout America and this one was the most well stocked place I have ever stayed. We were two families with children and there was plenty of room. Two master bedrooms that were equal in amenities (you hate for one couple to get the not as nice room). The loft was perfect for the kids and slept 4 with ease. Great hot tub on the deck and the deer valley lodge was having concerts in the evening and we could hear enjoyable music from the balconies. So easy to get around a bus runs right in front of condo and is free of charge to main street every 20 minutes so no need to worry about driving or an uber to take you to restaurants/shopping. Ski lift runs right in front of property so super fun to take lift up for a great lunch/hike. It was such a great trip that I hate to complain but the one problem is the condo has no air conditioning. I was not aware of this at booking and when we arrived and it was 85 degrees in condo we thought we were missing something and called the help desk. The lady called back and stated there was no a/c. We had two box fans and a ceiling fan in the loft. The condo faces the setting sun with huge windows and no screens on the two sliding doors to keep them open in the evening. It was never below 82 in the condo and sleeping was miserable. My four year old got a heat rash on her torso from sleeping in her regular pjs so I had to just put her in a light t-shirt for bedtime. We all had to sleep on top of the covers and it made for long nights. It was in the high 80's low 90's on our trip so I am still a little baffled by the lack of cooling options in such a great place.

We enjoyed our stay at the Powder Run condo in Deer Valley. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. The location was very nice. It was close to the public transportation stop. We enjoyed the nearby restaurants and went horseback riding at the Deer Valley stables. We came to watch the Tour of Utah cycling race.

Wonderful Easter Weekend 2014

Very large, well-located, over-decorated condo, but no TV.

There are two large bedrooms plus a huge loft with two extra beds. You can't get closer to the Snow Park lodge and lift area unless you are willing to pay for ski-in/ski-out. Each of the BRs has a whirlpool tub which we did not find appealing, but there is a private hot tub on one of the two decks. There are pictures and pillows and knick-knacks everywhere! We could not get the TVs to work. Rental people sent someone over who could not get cable service working.

This condo was terrific. A short walk to the Snow Park lift at Deer Valley and right next door to the St. Regis - which is a fun place to grab a drink or some food after skiing all day. The condo itself is very nice and quite spacious. We would definitely come back again!

Fantastic Condo with Great Location

My family and I were very happy with the Deer Valley Powder Run condo. It was fabulously decorated, very spacious at almost 1700 square feet and pet friendly. Great location and within 2 minute walk to resort and on the shuttle stop to get to the other resorts. Wife loved the kitchen that was well stocked with ever appliance and an assortment of spices. Did not use the hot tub on the deck of which there were two decks. Would recommend for any family needing a great space and good location.
