Wind Drift 408SW is a two-bedroom, two-bath, boat-friendly condo with Gulf-front views from the 4th floor of the west building.

• Access to the relaxing Gulf-front balcony is available from both the living room and the primary bedroom.

• Tile flooring is throughout the unit.

• The fully equipped kitchen includes a Keurig, AirFryer, Kitchenaid Mixer, and full-size stainless steel appliances. The dining room table seats six and has four bar stools for additional seating.

• Full-size washer and dryer in the unit.

• The living room has a sofa sleeper

• The primary bedroom has a king-size bed

• The second bedroom has a queen bed and a full-over-full bunk bed. *Children six years or younger should not be permitted on the top bunk.

• Beach toys, umbrellas, pool floats, and more are in the exterior storage locker for your convenience.

• Boat slips and trailer parking are available on a first-come, first-served basis for $50 per day or $300 per week at Wind Drift North. Trailer Parking and Dock Use Agreement, along with payment, is required to be completed prior to arriving for your vacation.

• No waiting in long lines for check-in or check-out with keyless entry!

• A maximum of two cars is allowed. Guests are required to purchase their own parking passes, and the cost is $50 each, plus a $15 processing fee per parking pass, per 7 days. Parking passes will need to be purchased per vehicle, per every 7 days of your stay. Monthly passes are $125/month.

• Minimum age to rent is 25.

$400 FREE Activities Daily-Guests will receive one complimentary admission to our select activities per day. You can go to every one of these activities every day, and one person will be free per day. Additional guests will pay full price. Admissions are non-cumulative and non-transferable. Unused admissions expire daily.

So yes, you may choose to go fishing in the morning (one person is free), then golf at lunch (one person is free), and then go to the zoo that afternoon (one person is free). Or you may choose to go to the zoo in the morning with the kids (one person is free), and your husband can play golf (one person is free) and then meet that afternoon to go on the dolphin cruise (one person is free.) You may do some or all of these select activities every day, and one of your parties is free every day.

These activities are yours to use if you choose to do so at no additional cost or obligation.

This location was great! in a quiet part of the beach just past the bridge. The downside was the constant construction on our building. We were not made aware of the extent of repairs on the condo (nor was itrip). In the future, I would recommend not opening certain condos until construction is completed. iTrip was gracious about our issues and helped as they could.

We had an amazing time at this condo. The private beach was perfect. Not crowded at all. The sand was warm but didn’t burn your feet. We went to a couple other beaches and the sand was miserable to walk on and felt like fire. Our condo was clean, beds were comfy and the patio was perfect. The captain style seating was just right for enjoying our morning coffee and looking over the railing at the ocean. We would definitely rent this again!!!

Winddrift condo delivered with amazing views and large, clean space. Fully equipped with all you could need. Furniture comfortable. Beds in second bedroom fine for kids, but not great for adults. Could use updating.

I calendared our trip wrong and didn't realize it until we were almost there. Itrip took care of it immediately, fortunately the condo was available and they had housekeeping get it ready for us in time. The place was very clean and nice. We had a fabulous stay and especially enjoyed that there were no condos to the right of us - only sand dunes - which meant the beach was never too crowded. We will definitely be back!

Overall we had a very nice time and good experience t this condo. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the internet connection initially. The information we received about how to login was not correct and the Alexa never did work. It would have been even better with music from that device.

We enjoyed our stay at 408S! I-Trip did a good job notifying us that the unit was slightly delayed for arrival due to cleaning being completed. The unit did have a master bathroom toilet seat that was not secure (came off) and the plastic support bar in the shower also fell out but we were able to put them back into place and overall these were a minor inconvenience. The refrigerated was great however, the ice machine was not very good, but we bought ice and again, minor. Everything else was outstanding...comfortable bed, clean rooms, air conditioning, excellent balcony furniture, and a great location!

Everything about our stay was great, but I think the location is what really makes this place especially awesome. To the right of the building is the state park, so you have no other condos making the beach far less crowded, even on Memorial Day weekend.

We have stayed at Wind Drift numerous times over the last 10 years, a good location. With COVID restrictions we spent a lot of time on the ocean front balcony. The Blue Angles zipped by at eye level on Sunday just off shore.

I have stayed in Orange Beach / Gulf Shores as a renter for 20+ years, and I can say with certainty that this units price was extremely fair!We had one hiccup with getting online using the WiFi password. I placed a request via the iTrip app and within minutes was texted a solution. Furthermore, a local (not call-center) representative called me to follow up and make sure my problem was solved. Customer service received an A+ from me!Regarding the unit, let me just say this: I have rented from the big company rental companies many, many times; they turnover rentals at such a rapid pace, you sometimes have to make concessions and turn a blind eye to previous tenants left-behind grime. Not here! It was spotlessly clean! The building is a low-density area, too. It is accommodating to families, but it is not noisy; however, we had so much fun and many laughs. We never once were subjected to those judgmental side-eye shhh-glances, either!The kitchen was fully stocked with nice cookware, serve ware, etc. The appliances all appear to be newer models. Dont want to cook? You are conveniently less than a 10-minute drive to GREAT food! My only suggestion is to rethink the doors enclosing the washer and dryer; they are behind sliding mirrored doors. That makes the space feel open, but its hard to take wet clothes out of the washer...you then have to slide the doors in order to access the dryer. Yes, I did laundry, because the washer and dryer, too, are great quality models!Lets talk about the beach: first the unit has an exterior storage closet that is equipped with chairs, an umbrella, toys, etc. I hope future renters respect this enough to leave it there; pay it forward. Dont want to lug anything? There is a beach service. The span of beach in front of these units is spacious and clean. We had a blast! In closing we will ABSOLUTELY arent from iTrip again; hopefully we will book this same unit.
