**Beach is open with social distancing rules. Community Pool and BBQ area are open. No tables or chairs are out so no gathering. Hot Tub is closed and will remain closed until COVID rules are changed for California. **

This beautifully renovated three bedrooms/two bathroom unit at Marina Del Mar in Oceanside, CA is the perfect place to take the whole family. It sleeps 6 in 5 different beds. There is a king size bed in the master bedroom and two twin beds in each guest bedroom. It's a comfortable home away from home that has been decorated in a nautical and beach theme with those small touches to make this unit special. You get a beautiful front patio view of the ocean with access from the living room as well as the master bedroom when you stay in this condominium. There is wireless internet access if you should need it and a fully equipped kitchen to cook your meals. If you want to dine out, you can walk to the harbor behind your condo in the marina and find a variety of restaurants. The marina is also where you can rent your watersport toys or buy a few souvenirs to take home. Everything you need is within walking distance, but if you choose, you can drive to the many attractions of San Diego within 45 minutes.

Marina del Mar Condominiums overlook miles of sandy beaches that run alongside the picturesque Oceanside Harbor. When you’re not enjoying the heated pool and hot tub in the condos, there are many other activities, both relaxing and exciting, that the harbor has to offer for people of all ages.

If you’re looking for something adventurous, check out the water sports rentals across from the shops and restaurants. Here you will be able to rent affordable kayaks, jet skis, pedal boats, stand-up paddleboards, and more! At Helgren’s Sports Fishing you can schedule a day trip or an overnight adventure to fish, whale watch, or embark on a harbor excursion. You’ll be able to find everything you need for a perfect fishing trip including fuel, equipment, and more.

The harbor is also home to numerous sports bars, restaurants, and cafes of all kinds to ensure your satisfaction. There are several fantastic seafood options to choose from such as Harbor Fish & Chips or Oceanside Broiler. If you prefer a more upscale experience, try D’vino, a popular fusion bistro that includes a gelato café and wine bar.

The harbor’s inviting village setting is perfect for unwinding with a relaxing stroll through the various gift shops and boutiques where you will find stylish beachwear as well as souvenirs & gifts so you can take a little bit of paradise home with you.

Just a few steps away from the condos lay a long stretch of sand perfect for beach games or volleyball. There are also various tents, which offer surf lessons and surfboard rentals for more adventurous vacationers. Families will be pleased to know that this beach has several convenient features such as bathrooms, showers, and lifeguards always on duty. The shaded picnic tables and coal barbecue grills are perfect for large or small gatherings after a long day at the beach. You can also end your beach day with a short walk to the Oceanside Pier and grab a burger and milkshake at the 50’s themed, Ruby’s Diner.

Parking on site is free for 1 vehicle per condo. Guest parking is available in the paid lots, and free parking for 72 hours in the parking lot by the Crab Shack. No vehicles over 16ft allowed in the parking area at all. Tall, large and extended pickup trucks or SUV's will need to park off-site.

Monday - Friday of Jan, Feb, April, May, Sept. There are some events scheduled on weekends during these time, so check with management.

No Guest Parking on site from May until June, only the assigned space may be used for your unit, extra vehicles need to use paid parking lots or Free Parking area by the Crab Shack.

No Vehicles over 16ft allowed on the property. Oversized vehicles need to pay for overnight parking in the camping area or in the Free Parking by the Crab Shack if available. 72 hours max.

Q. Is there parking in the complex?

A. Most units have 1 assigned parking space. Day guests can park in pay lot beside complex, overnight guests will need to park in the 72-hour free lot 1 on the east side of the harbor. This is on a first come, first served basis.

Q. What if I have an oversized vehicle?

A. No Vehicles over 16ft allowed on the property. Oversized vehicles need to pay for overnight parking in the camping area or in the Free Parking by the Crab Shack if available. 72 hours max

Q. What beach equipment do we need to bring?

A. We suggest you bring your own beach towels, boogie boards, and umbrellas. Some of the units may have these items, but we cannot guarantee they will be available on your arrival.

Q. Are pets allowed?

A There are no pets allowed by guests in the complex

Q. Is there Air Conditioning

A. Each unit is equipped with either ceiling fans, or portable fans to keep the air moving. There is no central or portable air conditioning.

We rented 210A for 31 nights. The views are spectacular and you can't get any closer to the beach and the marina. When we arrived (4 adults and 2 kids) there were 4 towels. Cyndi was kind enough to bring us linens the next day. Unfortunately, the living room furniture in this condo is well beyond it's best before date. All of the chairs in the living room were damaged and the couch had a sheet of plywood under the cushions. Not comfortable at all. We ended up bringing the lawn chairs in from the deck to sit on. Both bathroom fans squealed and obviously needed new bearings. Construction in front of the condo resulted in a constant dust storm as they jackhammered the planters out. No compensation was offered for this inconvenience although we requested it. We love this location and the layout of the condo, however, will not be returning because of the lack of consideration of the owners. Such a loss!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Construction around the outside of the building was still going on and was very disruptive for 5 days out of the stay. The rental was already discounted to $100 a night for a 3 bedroom condo facing the beach for 6 people. Owner of this unit repairs and makes improvements every year. For 2019 all twin beds were replaced and bathroom guest shower completely replaced. For this guest, the chairs needed to be tightened up for a better sit, and fans were oiled. The outside of the complex has gone under a major renovation from Jan - Oct 2018 with extended decks. The front lot renovation finished in May 2019 along with a pool area upgrade. One of the best places to stay on the beach in San Diego County.

210A at Marina del Mar is exactly as described and we love it. Modern, clean, great view ... the owner even left a small Christmas tree for the dining table. Would LOVE to stay here again sometime.

We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and decided to stay at Marina Del Mar Condo 210A with our family...what a great decision made. The accommodations were A1. We look forward to return in the near future. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Thank you for making our special celebration "special."
