Queen of Yale is a wonderful place for work and/or play. A Private Newly renovated first floor home in a duplex style house, with 3 bedrooms, 1 bath, fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances, washer & dryer.

-Nestled in the Heart of New Haven in tree-lined neighborhood minutes from downtown & Yale University.

-This property has easy access to many of the best local restaurants, shops, nightlife, and museums.

-Located within walking distance to Ingalls Rink, aka The Whale.

The property exterior is newly painted (June 2022), and the interior was also updated in early 2022 with new cabinets, bedding, and flooring throughout.

On top of being the Pizza Capital of the World New Haven is home to many popular attractions, including the Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History, the Shubert Theater, Long Wharf Theater, Toad's place, Firehouse 12, Music on the Green, and much more. Close to Nee Haven hospitals as well.

Access is limited to the 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living space, bathroom, and laundry room on the first floor.

There are students living upstairs who understand that guests will be staying in the unit below them. We ask them to be courteous and abide by the New Haven quiet hours. There is a back stairwell that upstairs tenants use that can be heard when they use it. The back porch is for guest use, however, tenants upstairs may use it when guests are not occupying unit.

NO PARTIES, EVENTS, PERFORMING ARTISTS OR BANDS ARE ALLOWED AT ANY TIME. The maximum number of guests or visitors for this house, as indicated in the listing, should be honored at all times, day or night. These are cause for eviction with no refund and may damage our ability to offer the home to future guests exposing you to liability. This is a quiet residential neighborhood, please be respectful of the neighbors at all times!

Do not dismantle smoke detectors. 
Any items left that a guest wishes to be returned and shipped will incur a fee. 
No pets allowed.  Unauthorized pets will incur a minimum of $250
We require at least one member of the party to be 25 (twenty-five) years of age! 
Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of the reservation deposit, damage deposit, and/or balance of rental payment.
No compensation will be given for the temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, cable, or telephone service. Outages will be reported immediately and all efforts will be made to have them restored as soon as possible. 
Smoking is strictly prohibited. Your damage deposit will be forfeited and you will incur an additional charge for carpet cleaning and deodorizing if any evidence of smoking is found.
Owner or owner's agents may enter the premises under the following circumstances: in case of an emergency; to make any necessary or agreed-upon repairs, alterations, or improvements; supply necessary or agreed upon services or show the premises to prospective purchasers, renters, or contractors. The owner will provide the renter with at least 24 hours notice of the Owner's intent to enter (except in the case of an emergency).
Violations of our noise or the maximum number of guests agreed to at the time of booking will result in possible fines or immediate eviction with all loss of all rents. Depending on the severity if there is a noise situation we may call and issue a warning or proceed with a $300 fine. If we cannot reach the guest that booked the property someone will show up to at a minimum issue a $300 fine and/or evict the entire group immediately. Any delay will result in us involving the authorities and trespassing every person on the property as well as the loss of all rents. Additional fines or damages may be assessed after removal. 
iTrip or the Owner, does not assume any liability for loss, damage, or injury to persons or personal property. Neither does the owner accept any liability for any inconveniences, damage, loss, or injury arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, cable service, electricity, or plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond its control.
Report any maintenance needs for the premises to us and we will respond as quickly as possible. Refunds will not be made for maintenance issues including, but not limited to heating and air conditioning, appliances, televisions, and stereos.
Any lost or damaged linens will be deducted from your deposit or automatically billed to the card you used. We recommend that you bring any special items that you may need.
The undersigned Tenant, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, assignors, executors, and administrators, fully releases and discharges Owner from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, and causes of action by reason of any injury, loss, or damage by whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any of his/her guests as a result, or in connection with the occupancy of the premises and agrees to hold Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising therefrom. In any action concerning the rights, duties, or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors, or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover any reasonable attorneys fees and costs. Owner reserves the right to terminate this Agreement at their discretion at any time.

Good rental house

Good rental house and would return. I think the only minor things to highlight are (1) no dishwasher and (2) it's directly adjacent to a daycare operation with loud children outside most of the day. Didn't bother us, but something we weren't aware of. Host was responsive and helpful.
Weekend in New Haven

My friends and I had a wonderful time staying in this home. It had a great common area space and functional kitchen. We also sat on the back deck for breakfast. All the beds were comfortable. We were able to fit three cars in the driveway. We were walking distance to Yale campus and Ubers were really easy to get for trips downtown. The apartment is about a 5 minute drive to downtown and the Uber was about $8. The owners cannot do anything about this and therefore this is NOT a complaint, but just a heads up - there are upstairs neighbors that you can hear walking around. If you're not used to this, it might be noticable. The owners were very communicative and answered all of our questions. We would definitely stay again!

I stayed at the Queen of Yale for about three months and it was great! It had everything I needed including parking which was very convenient. The house was nice but the best part was the responsiveness from the host, Tony was incredible! Highly recommend this place to single travelers or families!
