The resort charges a $75.00 check in fee and is collected at the front desk upon arrival.

A hidden gem

We stayed in G256 8/6/21 -8/13/21 celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. We absolutely loved the room. We could not have been more comfortable and content. We slept so well in the bed. Loved having the kitchen to make breakfast most mornings eating on the lanai with a beautiful ocean view as well as the beautiful well kept grounds surrounded by beautiful grass; plumeria trees, flowers and birds. I am a bird lover so this was so enjoyable. We ordered breakfast from the Gazebo three times. The first time we were second in line and ate at one of their tables inside. Such a friendly staff. The other two breakfasts we ate on the beach. We would go to the beach early morning and set up our chairs and umbrella. We did not know the room provides beach chairs and umbrella. We had already rented ours from the snorkel store. Not a big deal. We will know next time. The room also provides two beach towels. There is a washer and dryer on site. No housekeeping during your week. We were ok with that and know how to clean up after ourselves. There is a TV in the room but we never turned it on. We sat by the ocean watching the sunset each night. I had made reservations for all of our dinners at Kim’s, The pour house, Fleetwoods, and Lahaina fish and co., a few weeks before we came and we never waited long to be seated. We also had two different pick up orders with Leodas. The beach was wonderful, We saw lots of turtles near the rocks while snorkeling and even sitting on the beach we could watch them swimming and popping their heads up for air. What a beautiful place on so many levels. Loved our room so much. No complaints. Nothing but good things to say. Everyday was paradise. We are already talking about when we can return. We have stayed in Kaanapali several times in the past but for us, Napili shores is so much better, more relaxed, less crowded, and more beautiful. This place is a hidden gem.

Excellent location

This studio condo is wonderfully situated between both Honokeana and Napili Bays. Napili Shores is well kept and the sunsets are phenomenal. The unit itself has everything needed for a stay...the boogie boards maybe should be thrown out as the foam is coming off and not good for the ocean. Unfortunately, the mattress is pretty darn old and incredibly uncomfortable and the older refrigerator runs pretty much around the clock. Yet still, we had a lovely stay in G256 and are grateful to have stayed at Napili Shores again!

Location: 5 Star Perfect; Condo: Not so Much, Maybe 2 Star

Highly recommend the Napili Shores area. Family friendly atmosphere and wonderful ocean views. The condo unit we stayed in was clean, but tired. Door strip was missing about 1 ft. with a gap large enough for a rodent to get into the unit (but that did not happen.) Battery powered wall clock had dead battery (but the clock was correct 2X per day). A/C unit was flashing E9 error code so no temperature adjustment was possible (but the A/C turned on very early in the mornings to make it quite cold.) TV channels were mostly infomercial channels (not a big deal about the TV since not watched much.) In summary, the condo unit was in need of a thorough maintenance.

We enjoy the Napili Shores relaxing environment. The grounds are lovely and always very clean. The two pools - one heated plus jacuzzi - have lots of shade available. Our studio G256 had everything we needed plus a balcony with ocean view. More dishes and linens would have been nice, so as not to have to run a half full dishwasher and do laundry mid visit. (ours was 10 nights) There is great hiking near by. iTrips responds immediately to any concerns.

Condo was very well stocked, beautiful view from balcony, and the portable air conditioner worked well and was essential as we had first checked into D-125 but that had no air conditioner and was intolerable. We appreciated very much the opportunity to move to this one and that it was available. The only negative was the Murphy bed. It was a big negative however as springs all worn out and impacted sleeping. Not sure if it is a trait of the Murphy beds or whatever but the D-125 had same type of bed with no springs left in it. Would not book either again unless upgraded.

The condo (G256) had everything we needed. Plenty of towels, Extra bedding. All the kitchen utensils. They had beach towels and boogie boards. They didnt have beach chairs or umbrellas which we really needed. Had to rent those from Snorkel BobsLoved hiking the coastal trail in the morning. Napili beach was very nice but the pitch was too steep to comfortably walk easily. Kapalua beach was very nice and we snorkeled there.The grounds were impeccable and the two pools were very nice .Staff was friendly and helpful. While the condo didnt have a full on ocean view, it did have a nice view across the grounds to the ocean (see pictures). Unlike some of the other buildings the one was angled to catch the trades. We only had to use the A/C one night.

Disappointing Unit

We have stayed in several units at Napili Shores, and were quite disappointed in G256. The bedding was old and worn, blanket thin, and no other bed cover provided. Buy some quality sheets, blanket, and a Hawaiian quilt! Furniture is poorly arranged; can only watch TV from the bed. Unlike other units, this one feels like the owners don’t care to make it welcoming and comfortable for guests. Also, no boogie boards, chairs, etc. for the beach are provided. While we will come back to Napili Shores, we won’t stay in G256 again. The only good thing about the room is the view.

Wish we would have known you were so uncomfortable, as we would have certainly tried to provide comfort, or suggest a move to an alternative unit. The best place to stay in Napili! Our first choice because of the rates, the amenities at Napili Shores and the proximity to all of Napili and Kapalua. Our units rented through the years with iTrip are always impeccably clean when we check in and if even the slightest thing is either missing or amiss, Leanne, Elizabeth and Allen take care of it immediately. We love sitting on the lawn in front of the shoreline at sunset- there is no place we'd rather be!
