The home comfortably sleeps ten and with two separate living areas, there is more than enough space for everyone to spread out and keep up on their favorite TV shows, while the lanai offers so much lounging/seating and pool space, you'll want to invite friends! Also, you will find everything you need for your trip to the beach in the garage, including bikes and helmets, beach cart, umbrella and chairs.
The home's location is perfect for enjoying the best of Marco Island as it's a 0.25 mi walk or bike ride to the Winterberry Drive Beach Access point and Marco Walk, which boasts excellent restaurants, shopping and the only movie theater on the Island. And just across the street from Marco Walk is miniature golf at Marco Golf and Garden. The house is also less than a mile from the world-class JW Marriott, where you can enjoy its world famous spa as well as its 10 bars and restaurants.

Thank you for your review and I would like to address some of the issues you mentioned. Regarding the noise restrictions, it was covered in the Rental Agreement you accepted in order to book. There is a paragraph that explains Marco Island's 24 hour ordinance along with the potential penalty. This is a good reminder that regardless of whom you book with, you carefully read the rental agreement and reach out to the owner/manager if you have any questions before booking. We also cover the noise ordinance in more detail in the Guest Book at the house and it is posted on the fridge as well as in a frame on the wall next to the slider leading out to the lanai. In other words, we diclose the noise ordinance to guests before they book as well as when they arrive. I also reached out to via email when the neighbor called to complain about the ongoing noise in order to save you from the possibility of having the neighbor call the police and getting a fine. There are Marco Island residents trying to ban vacation rentals in single family homes and we are doing everything we can to keep them legal by balancing our guests having a great stay and the neighbors' right to the peaceful enjoyment of their home. The rules apply to residents and guests alike. As for the ants, Florida is the ant capital of the world and had you let me know they were in the house during your stay, we would have had the exterminator go out to treat for them. After reading your review, we got them out there to treat for ants. We checked the oven door and stove top and everything is in fine working order so not sure why you were having an issue. The pans and utensils are in good condition; but regardless, we replaced the utensils with stainless steel ones added a couple of stainless steel pots and pans. As for the pool, it is a unique shape but to say it is small is not accurate. tt is the second longest pool we manage and you can get a great workout swimming laps. This is the first review I can recall saying the pool is small so I'll add for context. Glad you found the beach gear and bikes to your liking!

As you correctly pointed out, there is a noise monitoring system at the house so for anyone reading this, I want to clarify the device cannot record conversations, it simply measures the duration and intensity of noise and alerts us if it exceeds a certain threshold that could lead to a complaint by the neighbor or a ticket from the police. There is a 24 hour noise ordinance on Marco Island so the device is meant to protect the neighbors’ right to the enjoyment of their property and protect against false claims made against guests staying at the house.The neighbor gets more sensitive as the evening goes on so for anyone looking to book, we ask that you not play any music or have conversations that can be heard past the property line especially after 8 PM. I was to glad to read that you would stay here again and thank you keeping the noise level down for the remainder of your stay as the neighbor never complained again.
