We were happy and would stay here again, this is the second year we've stayed in this condo. It's a little louder than I'd like, the elevator is right outside your door and you can hear everyone that walks by. The location makes this a great stay, we love being on the beach and being able to walk to John's Pass in the evenings. The view on the balcony is amazing and the condo has everything you need. The one change that would be nice is new matresses on the beds, they were not too comfortable.

Having 2 different groups renting out Sandy Shores condos causes confusion. I dont like that I am not allowed in the office. It feels like all the essential rules for the pool etc. are not being enforced. When I call iTrip or text them about a problem they are extremely slow at answering or they make up an answer just to get us off the phone. If the Internet is down iTrip is not even aware of it to tell us that. Happy that the condo was clean.

This unit had a very nice extremely well stocked kitchen. The living room Sofa & matching chair were fresh & clean & seemed like they may have been fairly new. However, there was a brown recliner that was unusable due to the smell. It simply smelled dirty! We could not use it at all. The draperies in this unit also did not function. There were missing pleater hooks at the top of the drapes that contributed to this. We could not open or close them for fear the cords might break within the drapery rod. The unit was overall clean in general. However, the patio furniture was really in need of attention. There was a metal table & 2 chairs that were rusty. Didnt really want to sit on them. The other table was ok, rusty? But ok. It only had 2 unmatching chairs & one of those had straps that were very stained & didnt look to strong. The sets both needed attention. This made it very uncomfortable to utilize the patio without always having to cover 3 of the only 4 chairs available. Also this unit definitely needs a new toilet seat! It was old, discolored & did not fit well. For the price of this unit we feel that these areas mentioned really should be up to par with other units we have rented over many years there.

Great location. Clean and convenient to beach and John's pass. Under construction during our stay. Didn't effect our section. It was a little confusing trying to figure out how to check in seeing it was our first time there. But we enjoyed our stay.

Condo was very nice, clean and location was great, right across the street from John's Pass. The only real issue we had was that unit 402 at Sandy Shores is managed by iTrip, many others in the complex are through John's Pass condos. Evidently, the two don't play well together and you CANNOT talk to the on site manager for anything, he was completely unhelpful. ITrip did well for us considering they are not on site.

The best thing about this large gulf front condo is the view. But, the unit should have been cleaner. I still haven’t recovered from having to face a toilet that had not been flushed – yuck! That left me feeling the unit has been poorly cleaned, that along with water rings on the glass accent table, and sand on the bedroom floor. Fortunately, construction was silent for the weekend. The unit was bright and sunny, though the bedroom lacked natural light. The unit was large, but the bathroom tiny. The furniture and décor looks like the 90s (white rattan) and shows some wear. The queen mattresses were firm, but sagged on the edges. It’s time to update! Linens were mostly clean, except for a dark stains on the sheet, which they replaced. They really should replace the old curtains and rods that are hard to open and close. Surprised that the cable tv reception was bad, but they came a fixed it, sad no access for NetFlix on TV. There is only a short walk to the water’s edge. Also, across the street from John’s Pass Village restaurants and attractions, is also a plus. here is free parking, free WiFi, no daily resort fee, and the price was reasonable. Beware of other fees: VBRO ADMINISTRATIVE $49 & Cleaning Fee $80. My biggest complaint was the neighbor who incessantly opened and closed the sliding glass door, which much have bad bearings because made annoying rumbling noises (maybe they had kegs out on the balcony). They also had loud music, talked loudly until 5 in the morning, and smoked on the balcony.

The location from the condo to the gulf was very close. The pool area could use more tables that have thatched roofs for shade.

Great location, adequately outfitted, quiet stay. The condo's location and view was fantastic and made up for any shortcomings. We had some maintenance issue but they were handled quickly and professionally. The view and the 30 second walk to the beach were really great. I would highly recommend this unit and management company.

Great place to stay for the price. Beach was nice and right out the back of the condo and not crowded at all. Pool was also nice. Also liked being able to walk across the street to St John's Pass. Would stay at again.

This condominium complex is in the perfect location! The beach is pristine and just steps away from John's Pass where you can watch fishing ships come and go, dolphins and beautiful sunsets as the condo faces the west. Also just steps away is the crosswalk immediately adjacent to the complex parking lot to allow for easy access to the shops and restaurants just across the street. The unit we stayed in was perfect for our family of four, well equipped, clean and modern. The balcony was wonderful for morning coffee, evening drinks and nighttime stargazing. The pool was clean and private with adequate pool chairs and some shaded seating as well. Having the added bonus of a parking spot and both stair and elevator access made for easy and convenient trips in and out of the unit - especially with a coded lock (no forgotten keys!). Be sure to try out the Mad Beach Microbrewery over in John's Pass shops/boardwalk - the Key Lime Hard Cider was AMAZING!!!!!! They also have a taster you can order to try all of their other yummy brews and the menu is a unique offering of fresh seafood and traditional pub fare - all perfectly prepared. The fresh grouper fish sandwich was fabulous! Also - you can tell the property is well maintained as the office is on the first floor and you can see maintenance folks or someone always around helping folks out. We also used the available washer/dryer on our floor steps away from our unit - it took quarters, but any of the shops at John's pass will make change for you as well as the visitor's center. We will definitely be back! This would be a great unit for elderly thanks to the elevator and ease of access, sidewalk/crosswalk and pull through garage/parking. It would also be a very safe unit for families of small children with the excellent safe railing on the balcony, along with the elevator, and the gated pool area (no lifeguard of course) and quick steps to the beach. They do allow pets (with owner approval) - or maybe just dogs - under 25 pounds and we saw several folks there who managed their sweet puppies very well on leaches with cleaning up after them and didn't ever hear barking at night, etc.

We really liked this unit. We would stay here again. It was clean and well maintained. The home owners have done a great job decorating and keeping the place up to date. There was nothing wrong with this unit. The deck was screened which is really nice. You have a nice view of the beach and the courtyard. There was stuff in the unit such as beach chairs and other beach items so we could go out and enjoy the pool or beach. Great location as you just walk onto the beach. Enjoyed the restaurants we had 2 dinners in the two different ones, great food. Great place to sit back and relax, lots of beach walking and bike riding to do. Definitely recommend this unit.

We had a very happy stay in this condo. It is very clean, spacious and well maintained. The beach/ocean view from the balcony is fabulous. We didn't do much cooking, but the basic kitchen utensils are provided. It is very close to the John's Pass Village and Boardwalk (about 3-5 minutes walking), where you can find many good restaurants, boat rentals, and other small shops. Will definitely stay here again when we are back to the area.
