Papakea E-304 is tastefully renovated and is a place you will remember forever. The ocean view lanai is great for dining, reading, or just taking in the view - perfect for enjoying the sounds of the surf and the palm leaves swaying in Maui's cool tropical breezes. Papakea resort is beautiful. Very nice grounds and pool areas. Condo E304 was very nice. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. A great lanai with ocean and pool view. The carpet was badly stained in a few spots, and we did bring it to the attention of the condo manager. She was excellent to deal with and stated that they are working with the owners to change out the carpet. The condo could also use a few more dishes, but not a deal breaker. The air conditioning was great to have, It kept the condo very cool. Also having a washer/dryer in the unit was fantastic. All in all it was a great stay and we would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at Papakea and the entire place was immaculate! The service people were cleaning the grounds everyday, including grills, pool, hottub, and trees! Our condo was also very clean. Great view of the ocean. We really have no complaints.

Papakea Resort - E-304

This was our home for a 1 month and we loved it so much and will be planning for another trip soon! We’ve stayed at Papakea a few times before (various units) and this ocean view studio unit has everything you need for your stay including THE extras: beach towels, beach chairs,umbrellas, cooler bag, boogie board, and now snorkels (we left that to pay it forward with some additional condiments to really spice up your cooking). In addition, while we didnt leverage it- there were books, puzzles, playing cards, binoculars etc that added. The location is on the 3rd and easy access to the two pools at the resort. It is also walking distance to many restaurants- you can also walk to Whalers Village (~2.5 miles each way) and one of my favorite spot for turtle watching is PoHaku park (~1.5 miles each way) Overall, great value for this unit. The grounds are well kept. We are so grateful that we found Maui iTrip to help us. Mahalo!

Amazing time spent here at a very unique time in our history! The condo was just right for the two of us. Beautiful view. One pool was closed temporarily during pandemic. We came a couple of weeks after travel opened, to see our son and family. Grounds crew are amazing. The open pool felt safe and even closed pool was maintained daily to be ready to reopen. Our grandkids came over to play in the pool and were welcomed. We barbecued at pool on very well kept equipment and the chairs, etc. we’re cleaned immediately after vacated. We also had beach chairs and towels available in unit, when we went to the beach. We had a car, but grocery store and food trucks were very close for walking. Also did a lot of cooking in the condo with ease. The only improvement needed In condo would be a new hide a bed sofa. We didn’t use it while open, but as a sofa, it was very uncomfortable! We would definitely return, and hope to see a new one then☺️.

A great location and unit layout, very clean but missing some of the essentials. There was no salt and pepper or any spices in the unit (except Chili powder), no sugar or coffee for the first day and no bar of soap in the shower (A hotel size would be great). The unit would also benefit from having a beach umbrella available for use. There were a couple of beach chairs and noodles available for use. The patio furniture was great and enabled seeing above the railing. On checkout at 11am we stayed by the pool given our flight wasn't leaving until midnight. There were no towels available for use that day, we asked the front desk and they suggested we buy one at the ABC store. Really! This place could easily be a 5 Star if the above suggestions were addressed.

I wanted to start by saying how much we loved staying at Papakea E304. The location of the condo and the property itself was the best PROS: Great location Very Clean Very well kept Had quiet hours, so sleeping listening to the waves with the doors open was possible. People were friendly Had an issue where the checkout date was not correct and it was taken care of swiftly with a phone call to iTrip. (Great to have the card with the number in the condo) Beach towels, beach chairs and noodles were available for use. Close to grocery store and many takeout food trucks and restaurants. Balcony furniture was comfortable, loved the high chairs and table. There is no beach which means the resort is not as busy as other places. Kitchen had very type of dish and utensils you would need. Consider adding a vase for flowers. CONS: I put these in as they would help with improving the already great experience. Add a sun umbrella (24.99 at Costco) and a boogie board to the beach toys. Beach chairs were a little rusted and not that comfortable- consider replacing with higher backed ones. We checked out at 11 but didn’t have a flight until midnight so we stayed by the pool for a few hours.It would be nice if the front desk offered towels to use for the day. Their suggestion was we buy one at the ABC store, with a 17$ a day resort fee they could have some available that you can borrow with a deposit. The condo did not have any coffee for the first morning. I would suggest having basics such as sugar, and a few spices available for use. Having everyone buy these when staying at the condo for a few days is not ideal. The salt and pepper shakers were empty. The body wash small sample size was empty and there was no bar of soap for the shower, having a hotel size bar in the shower would have been ideal rather than everyone buying a big bar. I would have brought my own hotel size had I known. Add some battery operated candles for the balcony. The condo furniture while very nice and in good shape is too bulky for the condo. The legs of the bed stick out from the frame and we were always banging our legs on them. We ended up placing bright coloured clothing on the ends to make sure to avoid it. I would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Maui, the biggest issue for most would be no beach but then you are not paying the price of a place with a beach and there are many very nice beaches within a 10 minute drive.

I loved this resort! So pretty and well maintained. The staff was very friendly. The grounds were super clean. The condo itself was also very clean and well maintained. All the appliances were up to date, and the condo provided everything my family required. I will most definitely stay here in the future.

We had a beautiful stay (8/24-9/4/2019). The grounds are well kept and quiet, which is what we were looking for. Our room was better than imagined, including the view of ocean from our 3rd floor balcony. Snorkeling was only a few feet away, pools which we used often, and numerous great restaurants and Lahaina shopping a short drive away. We hated to leave and are already planning our return trip there.
