Barefoot Cove is a recently built, upscale townhome offering 2,171 square feet of beautifully designed living space, complete with stylish furnishings, a private elevator, access to a seasonal saltwater community pool and an ocean view. Located in The Cove, a newer neighborhood in the quiet southern end of Kure Beach, this home provides a relaxed coastal setting that still keeps you close to everything the area has to offer.

Fresh linens and towels are included in the cleaning fee, so you can arrive and settle in with ease. Inside, you’ll find modern finishes throughout, including ceramic tile showers, smart TVs in every bedroom, and a thoughtfully designed inverted floor plan that places the main living area on the top level to maximize space and comfort. The kitchen is brand new and well equipped with high-end appliances, sleek countertops, a large island, and everything you need to prepare meals and gather together.

With four spacious bedrooms and three full bathrooms, there’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Step outside to enjoy the large covered deck or rinse off in the outdoor shower after a beach day. Two parking spaces are included. -This is a NO SMOKING and NO PETS unit.

-Community pool is seasonal, not heated and opens/closes as weather permits. We do not guarantee the pool to be open during the time of your stay. Pool may open or close due to weather or construction at any time. There will be no refund or discount if the pool is closed.

-Please make yourself aware of our cancellation policy. Insurance is highly recommended.

-Maximum Occupancy: 9 Occupants - Children must be counted within the maximum occupancy unless they are under the age of two (2) and are sleeping in a crib.

-Tenant Requirements: Tenant stated on the Agreement/Booking must be at least twenty-five (25) years of age, and acknowledge that they will occupy the Property during the entire tenancy.

-Manager and owner of the rental property are not responsible for citations received while staying at the property.

-Be respectful of the house and contents - it is someone's home. Respect the neighbors and neighborhood.

-No events or parties. If it is determined that a party/event is taking place at property, management has the right to evict tenants and guests with no refund.

-If determined that a party took place on any of the nights reserved, reservation guest will be charged $500, no exceptions.

-No uninvited guests without permission.

iTrip NC Beaches Cancellation Policy

North Carolina Beaches

Cancellation 60 days or more before your stay will receive a refund less the cancellation fee of $350. Cancellation 60 days or less before your stay will not receive a refund unless the same dates are re-booked. If that occurs you will receive a refund less the cancellation fee of $350. Additional details with regards to cancellation policies and procedures may be found in Section #15 of the Rental Agreement as provided at checkout.

Maximum Occupancy: Each property’s maximum occupancy is stated within the Agreement and located in the Property Description; If at any given time, the maximum occupancy is exceeded, the tenant will be in material breach of the lease and grounds for expedited eviction will apply in addition to a fine.

We enjoyed our time staying here. Two families (8 people) had plenty of space! Really liked that everyone had a place to sit while eating and in the living area. Convenient walk to the beach (5-10 minutes). Partially shaded pool was great to have as an option after a beach day. Convenient to the aquarium and restaurants. Would stay again. 😀

We had a great visit, close to the beach and the house was equipped with everything we needed loved our stay my only suggestion would be to have one central dump or garbage area instead of cans left outside of the house to keep roaches (water bugs) to a minimum this may help!

First, let me say that the Itrip people we dealt with and talked with during our stay were very friendly, accommodating and responsive. We stayed at Barefoot Cove on Kure Beach. The property was very clean and well taken care of. The area pool was smaller than we had thought it would be. We did have a few issues come up during our stay and Itrip did take care of them. The property itself was as advertised and provided us with the family get away we were looking for. my advise is to look into and rent a golf cart for your travels while there.

This is a very spacious & beautiful condo. Very clean. Easy check in &out. Lots of kitchen utensils for cooking. Great response for questions. We were given lots of great information about the area of things to do. Pool was very nice. It was great for our family. Our grandchildren loved the bunk room. Definitely would stay here again if in the area.

We vacationed in Wilmington two years ago and loved our visit to Fort Fisher state park so this year we decided to return and be closer. This house has exceeded all our expectations and I’m beyond grateful to the person(s) who stocked this place so well. We’ve mostly cooked here. The kitchen is spacious and they have all the essential cooking tools and some extra amenities like spices (my south asian mother-in-law was impressed). We brought our own wagon and tent, but they had them here for use. Our toddler really enjoyed the beach toys. After a hot day at the beach, we were able to cool off at the pool which was very close to the house and perfect for young babies. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony to enjoy the breeze, enjoy a glimpse of the ocean, etc. The staff were responsive and took care of our needs right away when something came up. I could go on about all the wonderful things about this house and the location, but overall, it was a wonderful place and we hope to return!

We enjoyed our stay at Barefoot Cove. Everything one could want was at the townhome. Also the community pool was very nice, very clean and well maintained. Our 3 generation family enjoyed our week there. There is parking for only 2 cars, as stated in the description so we had to get creative for our additional cars. Kure Beach has some parking issues that visitors must deal with.. certainly not a deal breaker. Try to have just 2 cars to simplify your stay.

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay at Barefoot Cove! Communication was exceptional by the company. I loved the text system they utilized. They provided thorough check in and check out instructions which were very helpful to ensure we did our due diligence on our end! There were so many great amenities in this home - towels, dishes and cookware galore, KitchenAid appliances, soaps, and even laundry soap. The home felt warm and inviting, and was perfectly close to the beach and pool. We absolutely loved our short stay and all wished we could have stayed for much longer. House was great. Clean, modern amenities. Great kitchen with everything you need. Beds are very comfortable. Plenty of room for our two families beach trip. Beach access is an easy walk just one block away. House is on a quiet street and pool was great to cool off in after a day on the beach.

Love the entire small community of Barefoot Cove. The units are all within 2-3 years old and are immaculate. Perfect spot for a large family to unwind and enjoy the beach which is just a short 3min walk away to closest public beach access and the unit is equipped with a large rolling wagon for your chairs and such. The community pool is also great to refresh in after the beach. Itrip was accommodating of any need via a quick text message during our stay, great and timely hospitality.

This was an excellent place to stay with everything we needed and more! iTrip really went above and beyond to make our stay really pleasant. Everything was clean and new and nice and comfortable. The best part was how well stocked everything was; they provided more than just the minimum toilet paper, laundry pods, dishwashing soap, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook, even had sugar, flour, and spices. The bathrooms ALL had hand soap. All fixtures, appliances, etc worked well. The elevator was so nice to have, and the pool was great! There were beach chairs, a beach wagon, some sand toys and a small cooler— it made the walk to the beach access with kids very helpful! Thanks again for a great, relaxing stay!

We absolutely loved this townhouse! We stayed here for a week in early June. The place itself is beautiful - decorated and furnished amazingly. We have two little ones and had friends that joined us half way through the week with another two (all aged between 1-3 years old). The bunk bed room is great for little kids, as it has no windows and don’t need to worry about black out blinds. All the beds were comfortable and the place came with a bunch of little extras that really showed they go above and beyond with their rentals (hand soap, dish soap, plastic baggies, olive oil, large beach towels, wagon, beach chairs, and I could keep going..) they make it comfortable so you don’t have to bring (or buy) the whole world with you when you travel! (Id suggest asking what’s there before you pack your car, as we brought way more stuff than needed since they have the place well stocked!) The pool is great, one side is 5 inches deep and it goes to 4’ deep, so perfect for little kids! We were the only ones at the pool most of the week, not sure if that’s typical but it was nice not to have a ton of people there. The walk to the beach is a little far with little ones that need to be carried, but we had people offer to let us use their beach access that were right across the street. I think for most though, it wouldn’t be an issue. Would definitely recommend the place!

Wow! The Barefoot Cove is absolutely beautiful! It is in a great location and just minutes from The Pier, Aquarium at Fort Fisher, Battery Buchanan, and my personal favorite…Britts Donuts located on the updated Boardwalk at Carolina Beach. Everything in the rental was so fresh and new. The kitchen is gorgeous and FULLY stocked with everything you could possibly need (I bake and cook a lot so I really appreciated not needing to bring anything). I really enjoyed my morning coffee on the balcony listening to and looking at the ocean. My young boys loved walking to the beach and playing in the neighborhood pool! The pool has a great shallow area for my babies/toddlers to move around and play in and they loved the small fountains. Great memories were made! I was pleasantly surprised that you could view the ocean while drinking coffee on the front deck and also enjoy a beautiful view of it while making coffee on the the other side of the home in the kitchen! This home is beautifully decorated and fully equipped. The elevator is very smooth and we felt very safe and secure in it. The beach is just a short walk and you are right next to historic Fort Fisher! I highly recommend this home!

We had such a great weekend staying at this house! It’s tucked away in a cute little neighborhood right across from the beach. The beach is a very short walk from the house. They also have everything you could need for the beach- towels, chairs, a beach wagon! The house looks brand new and fully equipped! The kitchen has everything you could possibly need, plus a grill for grilling! There is also a pool you have access too that is perfect for taking a break from the beach. This is the best place I’ve ever stayed! As a bonus, there is even a nice ocean view out the kitchen window. You can’t go wrong staying here!

Awesome townhome in a beautiful area. The townhome had everything we needed, we were very pleased with the kitchen amenities they had that we normally don't see in other places we stay.
