We really enjoyed our stay at Happy Fiddler! Centrally located between St Pete and Clearwater, we had the best of both worlds! Quiet, less crowded beaches in Indian Rocks and when we wanted more, we went to St Pete or Clearwater. Condo was very comfortable but a little dated. Needed painting as there we a couple of holes in the wall. Didn’t bother us.

What a great place to spend our vacation. All amenities where like being at home without the snow and the views are out of this world. Excellent location to stores, pubs and entertainment. We will be back for sure if bookings allow. Very happy with the place and service!

Beautiful location. A bit dated and could use some small touches to make the place better. Springy pull out mattress. Dirty carpet. Dishwasher not pinned so leaned forward when loaded. Drapes look like they are going to fall in the living room. Little things that could make this an 4 star to an 5 star rating. Otherwise very clean. Linens smelled fresh. Kitchen was fully stocked. We will return for sure!

We loved the location of 402, Happy Fiddler. We loved watching the sunset every evening. However we had a few issues with the condo itself. The beach chairs provided were all broken and flimsy, poor quality. There was no cooler, we ended up purchasing one from wal mart and left it at the condo for the next guests. The lighting in the condo was minimal and dim. The carpets were dirty, there were no extra sheets provided for the sofa bed, which was horrible. The laminate flooring was coming apart on several areas, if you weren’t careful you could trip easily. The master bathroom had a tension rod, which fell down. (This issue was resolved quick during our stay). The other master bathroom had mold on the ceiling vent and shower was not clean and bathroom needs major updates. Overall the place needed updating and some TLC and would be a much better experience.

My family and I loved this condo. It’s convenient to the beach, local eateries and some local shopping. It’s quiet and offers everything that one would need, especially amazing views of the beach. We will definitely return!

We love this unit. This is the 3rd time we have booked it over the last 6 years. 2 years ago, it was a little disappointing because it needed some sprucing up and repairs. But this year there are definitely some improvements and we have fallen in love with it all over again. It's so convenient to anything or anywhere you would like to see or do. Walking distance Crabbt Bills and the famous ice cream parlor. Minutes from Clearwater Beach and St Pete Beach.

The Happy Fiddler did not disappoint! First the cons…. The bedroom furniture and fixtures are dated and could use updating. There’s no ice maker in the refrigerator which would be a big plus and this unit has no balcony. Now the pros…. The location is perfect! Just steps away to the beach from the pool deck. Several restaurants are just a short walk away. This two bedroom unit has a very spacious living room and an updated well equipped kitchen. From the washer and dryer to beach chairs/ toys, the host has thought of just about everything to ensure a worry free stay. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend the Happy Fiddler 402 !

The condo was very spacious & clean but very outdated. No balcony to sit outside either. The elevator was out of order the first few days so carrying luggage and groceries up 4 flights of stairs was unacceptable! It did get fixed mid week which made it much better. Pool area was very nice! I’d stay there again but in a different unit.

This was a very spacious, airy condo with great views and access to the beach. The 1/2 bath was a nice feature. It was also very quiet over the 3 weeks that I was there. It does need just a little tlc to improve it and possibly even raise the rates but most importantly, retain the repeat guest. The master bedroom bed simply has to go because of its deteriorating frame. The damaged lampshades have to be replaced along with some touch-up paint and carpet treatment (suggest replacing with hard "wood"). Imagine that those very tiny bugs are throughout the complex. The elevator absolutely has to be replaced since it broke down multiple times which caused a stressful physical and mental state from the 4th floor (including loading the car for an airport flight).

Our stay was very enjoyable! The views were spectacular. Everything we needed was there and so much information on things to do. I wish we had more time to do it all. The only problem we had was the elevator was down once and we had to take the stairs. It was fixed quickly and it sure didn't hurt for us to get a little exercise after all the great local food. I really hope to return there on another vac!

Views were great!! Condo was in bad shape. Had to call maintenance man several times which was a inconvenience to us. Should not have that on your vacation!! Was not for older people!!

Had to call because of sewer gas smell in bathroom, your staff poured bleach down the drain. Seemed to take care of the problem. Had trouble with the heating and air conditioning system, seemed not to work very well. The elevator worked intermittingly. At times needed to take the stairs. Our son and his family stayed in the unit. I probably would not rent the unit again.

Had a great time at a very roomy condo. All was as advertised. Pool was easy to get to and beach area just beyond. Everything was fine except the sofas need replaced. Any problem we had was immediately handled by the ITrip team. The biggest problem was the elevator which was not always operable. There was continuous work being done to keep it going. All in all a great location. Some wonderful nearby restaurants.

This is our third stay at the Happy Fiddler. Each has provided enjoyable memories. However, as we get older it has become hard to climb in and out of the shower in in the master suite. With the steps and no hand rails there is a fear of falling. Thank you.

We have stayed in this unit several times. It is quiet, spacious and has a great location on the beach. The mattresses are worn and need to be replaced. The guest mattress especially is uncomfortable. You can feel the springs.

My husband and I and my daughter and son in law whith my two grandkids, stayed in this unit (April 2019) and absolutely loved it. It eased very large and had all of the ante mirrors needed to make a great vacation. Scenery is beautiful, pool was excellent, we would definitely stay again.

This was our second year in this unit. Like most Indian Rocks Beach condos it is a bit worn. One elevator. Nice pool. No hot tub.2 1/2 baths is a nice perk. Good sized rooms big closets (fit a pack-and-play). A bit skimpy on plates and matched glasses.The two beds need replacing. Large living room great for kids to play in. It could be so much a better unit if beds were replaced and a trip to Costco to get plates and glasses.We will stay there again despite our complaints.

The management team within the complex were helpful your manager Kathy was extremely helpful with our issues regarding the smoke detectors with low batteries beeping constantly also the detector blasting away at 2:30 A.M. while I tried to stop the noise,Kathy got these replaced later in the day also getting lights that were broken fixed also getting the kitchen floor repaired that had been damaged before we got here. We were not happy with the cleaning of the condo it was not cleaned properly after window replacement. We feel all of these things could have been reported to Kathy earlier in the summer so she, could deal with them before we got here. Overall as you can gather we are far from happy with such a poor start to our vacation. Again I repeat Kathy got the ptoblems fixed very quickly once we contacted her we think she was great.

Beautiful SPACIOUS and clean condo right on the sand. Easily slept our group. Great pool, great kitchen, I am so happy with it. Coded entry so no keys to worry about! Washer and dryer right in condo. I can't say enough about it. Wonderful.

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. The photos do not do justice to the true size of the condo. It was huge! The kitchen was well-stocked & had everything we needed. There were several beach chairs in the unit for our use. The view was incredible. We saw dolphins on more than one occasion. The proximity to the beach from the condo was excellent. It made things really easy with two small kids & all their gear. There are several good places to eat nearby. Can't wait to return!
