“Owls Nest” is the perfect place to perch while enjoying all historic Idaho Springs and its nearby attractions have to offer. This rental has been lovingly updated in a classic, cozy-chic style! Large Master Suite with jetted bath tub, custom bunk beds, kitchenette and second bathroom.
As a recent guest wrote in her review, "Walk up the flight of stair in this Victorian house and you feel like you've walked into a curated shop. Everything from the pillows, to the wallpaper, to the art work is boutique - making the price point on this rental hard to beat."
Built in 1905, this beautiful, lovingly updated rental is the private upstairs of a converted Victorian home. The Owls Nest is up one flight of internal stairs. Parking is free on the street in front of our home. (Main-level “Bonanza” has a separate alley-side entrance. Contact us if you would like to inquire about "Bonanza" accommodations (sleeps 4 as well) and availability.)
This home is located in Idaho Springs, where gold was first discovered in CO in 1859. Downtown retains much of its old, wild west charm, honoring its rich mining heritage with carefully preserved museums and historic sites, including Argo Gold Mine and Mill. Miner Street, lined with fabulous local restaurants / breweries, locally-owned boutiques. This home is located a block away from the Miner Street! Idaho Springs is a small town with big personality, including mine tours, rafting trips, zip lining, hiking, Indian Hot Springs, family parks and more…
