CONSTRUCTION NOTICE:

- Swing stages have been installed on the rear of the building to access areas of balcony spalling on stacks 04, 05, 09. The pool will remain closed until April 6th. Dates subject to change.

San Carlos 809 is a three-bedroom, three-bath, beautifully decorated condo with an incredible Gulf-front view from the 8th floor.

• Access to the balcony is from the living room and the primary bedroom

• Kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you could need in your home away from home. Dining room table seats six, with four barstools for additional seating

• Full-size washer and dryer are inside the unit

• Living area has a sofa sleeper

• Primary bedroom has a king-size bed

• Second bedroom has a king-size bed

• Third bedroom features two twin-size beds with two twin trundles

• No waiting in long lines for check-in or check-out with keyless entry

• Maximum of two cars allowed. Parking passes must be purchased onsite at the front desk upon arrival (floor 3). Parking passes are $50 each plus tax

• San Carlos HOA Rule: The listed guest on any San Carlos unit rental reservation must be at least 25 years of age and physically present for the entire duration of the contracted stay. Violations of this rule will result in immediate eviction as mandated by the San Carlos Board of Directors

No Smoking property, including each unit's balcony. A designated smoking area is available at the BBQ area.

No Labor on Labor Day Weekend

Overall stay was good. The 809 San Carlos unit was exactly as advertised, clean, large and roomy, many amenities, with a very large deck overlooking the Gulf of Mexico with white sandy beaches. The check in and check out process was very easy. The only slight drawbacks to the property such as the following: 1. If parking is full at condo property you have to park across the East Beach Blvd. 2. If you are a big and tall person like me, the master bedroom bed is too soft and the mattress needs to be more firm. The other beds were about the same. 3. Other rentals we had in past included beach chairs and umbrellas for their guests. This one you have to rent them daily and they are taken up at 5 pm each day. We loved the pool right on beach and ease of beach access. The staff at San Carlos was excellent as well and very professional especially at check in desk. Thx for making a nice visit to Gulf Shores

We were very pleased! The condo was was very clean and beautifully decorated. The workout room and pool were very nice. The only things I would change would be the sliding door to the balcony In the master bedroom wouldn’t open and the mattresses were cheap and soft with a dip in the master one. We would definitely stay here again, especially if these items were fixed. The elevators were great too.

Our second Spring Break in 809- Love it!!! Very comfortable and spacious. My wife and I come with 2 of our Adult kids and their spouses. Everybody gets their own space. Love the large corner balcony, with the view of the beach, but also the sunset over Little Lagoon. The kitchen has everything you need. The San Carlos staff is always friendly and helpful. That being said, the price of a week's rental for next spring break 2025, looks like it is going to be nearly double what we paid in 2022-There have been some nice updates and improvements to the unit, but the cost is forcing us to look at other units in the building that are equally as nice and more than 2 grand less when renting directly from the host company...

Unit 809 is a beautiful and very clean condo. The kitchen was nicely stocked with service for a large group of 10-12. The condo was beautifully decorated and all beds were very comfortable. My group of six had a wonderful stay.

Wonderful trip! Beautiful condo in a perfect location. Balcony was amazing. Kitchen well stocked with dishware, cutlery, and pots and pans. Great appliances. Only minor issue was the air freshener that was hidden somewhere Was very strong. If you have scent issues, you may want to ask management how to unplug/remove/reduce it. Otherwise, perfect trip.

We thourghly enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed in our condo. Nice small appliances, utensils, pots & pans, washer & dryer, comfortable bed & living room furniture. Beautiful view since it is a corner unit. Enjoyed using the golf discount & video discount.

Great stay

We spent nearly 3 weeks at San Carlos in Gulf Shores. Two full days of rain but other than that, had a great time. The condo was beautiful. The only negatives is some mold in the grout in the master shower. But we all fight that kind of problem. The view from the roomy balcony was awesome. The nights were quiet. All we needed to bring was food. Lots of dinnerware. We ate several meals in the condo and it was like cooking at home. Plenty of towels. Ours was a three bedroom condo. Our grown daughter met us there for Christmas. So we only used two bedrooms but used the 3rd for storage. We will return next year. Not cheap but actually a bargain.

Awesome stay

Really enjoyed the stay and beaches were quite. Been 6 years since in Gulf Shores, but much better than Destin in my opinion. San Carlos is a nice building and our condo was great. Washer broke on 2nd day but management company did laundry service for us on day 4. Suggestions for unit: replace carpet in living room (beyond cleaning). Not a carpet fan so tile would be better but if new carpet perhaps a little darker color. Couches could use some steam cleaning. Front bedroom with twin beds warmer than other rooms (had box fan to supplement but not nearly enough). Overall, unit was very nice, very well decorated and more than comfortable; would not hesitate to stay in 809 again.

Our stay and location was good. Good that the condo provided carts to help carry luggage and supplies up. The only suggestion would be to clean carpets as they needed some spot cleaning and overall refreshing.

Condo had a great cozy beach vibe.. would definitely stay again! Guests dumping their trash down the trash chute at 3:00 am might wake you so having a rule of no trash dumping from midnight to 6 am would be great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Gulf Shores, AL - and part of the reason is because the San Carlos condo #809 that we stayed in was perfect for our families needs. Everybody had a bathroom (3 bd / 3 bath). The kitchen was fully stocked, and had an empty pantry for all the food we brought in! It was clean - it was spacious - great location. Loved the patio. Great beach just over the dunes. Couldn't ask for anything more :)

Unit was clean and large enough for 5 adults, 2 teens and 3 children. Plenty of room for everyone to sit. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and everything worked. Itrip contacted me with maintenance issue in condo, follow up with stay and again with tropical storm Cindy. Would recommend condo and itrip.

We stayed at San Carlos 809 May 31 through June 4. This condo is everything it was said to be , It was very nice. The only issue we had was the last night the AC went out on us. Got rather hot but we did notify maintenance the next morning and they assured us this would be taken care of. Had a very fun relaxing Time. Thank you
