A new parking area features covered waiting areas and complimentary shuttle service that stops at both the parking lot and the Grand Hyatt before dropping skiers at the new East Village skier services facility.

The facility offers equipment rentals, lift tickets, overnight ski storage and private lesson meet-ups just steps from the new high-speed Keetley Express chairlift.
For those arriving via US 40, we are thrilled to announce that there are now a couple of options for parking. One option, with limited parking spots is the Jordanelle Gondola. Parking usually fills here by 8:30 a.m. on most days.

Additionally, a significant upgrade to your Deer Valley experience this season: 500 new day skier parking spots have been added at the new Deer Valley East Village, a new resort gateway off of US 40. 


These new spots are free and conveniently located to enhance accessibility and streamline your day on the mountain.

The parking is located a short shuttle ride from the base terminals of the new Hoodoo Express and Keetley Express chairlifts.

 

To return to the East Village, guests can ski down from Silver Lake via McHenry run, a two-mile green trail that provides direct access back to the base area.

For end-of-day access, the Aurora lift operates until 4:15 p.m., allowing skiers to return to the East Village base area.

The East Village expansion includes the new Keetley Express, a state-of-the-art chairlift featuring heated seats and an automatic bubble shield. Additional terrain expansion is expected to open MLK weekend 2025, with the new Hoodoo lift scheduled to begin operations in the coming weeks, providing beginner-friendly terrain similar to Snow Park.

A permanent day lodge at East Village is planned for the 2027-28 season.

Skiers can check real-time parking updates and lift status online, and through the Deer Valley app. Those with ski school drop-offs should continue to use Snow Park as their access point

For everyone's safety, do not exceed the listed max occupancy of the home and amenities.

Unless otherwise listed, quiet hours are from 10 pm to 7 am. Please observe them and be respectful of the home and neighbors. 

All properties and homes are non-smoking. 

Parking rules must be followed. The city is very generous with its parking tickets and towing. 

Violations are subject to immediate eviction without refund.

After a little snafu with the home that we booked, the management company very quickly took care of us and allowed us to use this home which was a huge upgrade from what we booked. It’s brand new, well-appointed, and has sweeping views of the Jordanelle - I kept saying it’s the most beautiful place on earth. Management kept checking in on us and addressed any issues that came up. Great trip!

Such a Lovely Place

This townhome is as lovely as one could hope for. The view of the Jordanelle Reservoir is spectacular. The home is clean, the main floor master bedroom king size bed is comfortable (on the soft side), and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook there instead of eating out if desired. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs that are very nice. The neighborhood surrounding this townhome is also very nice. Be advised that there is no direct access to the reservoir from this unit. The entire Mayflower Lakeside development is growing and seems to be quite impressive. I wouldn't hesitate to book this home again.

Wonderful location and unit

First time trying to stay on the Jordanelle side of Deer Valley and we were not disappointed at all with this unit. Great views of the reservoir, nice front side views of the new expansion area at Deer Valley, and very easy and quick ride over to the gondola. Very spacious floorplan with essentially two masters and two guest rooms, all of which are roomy and comfortable. Kitchen has great appliances and is connected to the main family room. Hot tub is great and a few visits from a bald eagle made the time out in the tub really special. Only small hiccups were some things like no extra trash bags and a little light on the "extras" that are often with a five star unit of this quality. Loved the place and the location... could easily call this home.
