This Mountain Queen condo is located at the base of the Shadow Mountain chair lift and is one of a handful of ski-on/out properties to this world class ski area and just a quick 3 blocks away you will find Aspen's numerous shops, restaurants, bars and nightlife. As the property is tucked up against the mountain however you enjoy the quiet of a residential neighborhood with convenient access to skiing and to town. Take advantage of the free Downtowner Shuttle to get you anywhere you need to go in the Aspen Core!!

The open concept living and dining area is spacious with lots of comfortable options for relaxing and spending time with family and friends. Enjoy meals at the large dining table for 8 while you check out the ski conditions just outside your floor to ceiling windows. Play a game of cards or answer some emails at the card table. Relax on the living room sofa while enjoying the gas fireplace and your favorite show on the large flat screen TV. Year-round you can unwind out on the patio, where you will appreciate the view of Aspen Mountain. During the summer months you will love the outdoor pool area with great views of Aspen Mountain. It is a tranquil spot to enjoy some time relaxing, reading a great book or just soaking in the incredible views! The common area outdoor grill and tennis courts are also summer amenities you can enjoy. The new outdoor hot tub is a long awaited amenity at the Mountain Queen!

Our 3 bedroom Aspen condo offers all en-suite bathrooms. Two bedrooms have one king bed (master bedroom has portable A/C window unit) in each and the third bedroom has two twins, which can be bridged to become one king if your group prefers all bedrooms to have one king bed. The versatile bedding and private baths for all make this a great choice for many travelers.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Tenant agrees to leave the premises and its contents in the same condition as Tenant found the premises to be upon move-in, normal wear and tear expected. 
  • All dishes are to be washed and all garbage removed from the premises and placed in outside receptacles at check-out. If the home is left in an excessively unclean manner please note we will charge $50/hour for additional cleaning time needed after your departure.  
  • The maximum number of occupants shall not be exceeded. Occupancy exceeding the sleeping capacity, using the premises for any illegal activity, causing damage to the premises rented or to any of the neighboring properties and any other acts which interferes with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises are grounds for eviction.
  • Check-in time is after 4pm, may be as late as 5 or 6pm in peak winter and summer season.  Check-out time is 10am.
  • No open flames are permitted on balconies or in the unit with the exception of fire contained within a wood burning fireplace. Do not dismantle smoke detectors. Use the overhead stove fan when cooking to avoid accidental activation of smoke detector alarm.
  • There is no daily maid service.  Additional maid service can be arranged for a fee. Please contact us in advance for pricing.
  • "No pets or emotional support animals" policy must be observed. If evidence of a pet(s) is found in the unit or on the premises you will be asked to vacate immediately with no refund of rent or damage deposit.
  • Smoking (cigarette and marijuana) is strictly prohibited inside the unit and on any outdoor patio or balcony. Your damage deposit will be forfeited or you will be charged a $1000 fee if you opted for damage insurance as smoking is not covered under the insurance.  You will incur an additional charge for carpet cleaning and deodorizing if any evidence of smoking is found.  This is also grounds for eviction.
  • Quiet hours are 10pm - 8am.  Any violations will result in a fine of at least $150.  Repeated violations are grounds for eviction.
  • If your vacation rental requires a parking permit for a vehicle, this pass must be left or returned per your rental instructions, or there will be a fine of $200 per missing pass.
  • Reservations are not made by or for a minor, defined as any person under the age of twenty-five (25). We require at least one member of the party to be 25 (twenty-five) years of age! Any violators will be evicted with forfeiture of all monies.
  • Owner or owner's agents may enter the premises in case of an emergency; to make any necessary or agreed upon repairs, alterations, or improvements; supply necessary or agreed upon services or show the premises to prospective purchasers, renters or contractors. Owner will provide renter with at least 24 hours notice of Owners intent to enter (except in the case of an emergency).
  • Please report any maintenance needs for the premises to us and we will respond as quickly as possible. Refunds will not be made for maintenance issues including, but not limited to heating and air conditioning, appliances, televisions, and stereos.
  • iTrip or the Owner, does not assume any liability for loss, damage or injury to persons or their personal property. Neither does owner accept any liability for any inconveniences, damage, loss or injury arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, cable service, electricity or plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond its control.
  • Tenant hereby acknowledges that if the premises they have reserved includes a community pool and hot tub or private hot tub and the undersigned agrees and acknowledges that the community pool, hot tub and patio/deck can be dangerous areas, that the deck/patio can be slippery when wet, and that injury may occur to anyone who is not careful. With full knowledge of the above facts and warnings,Tenant accepts and assumes all risks involved to Tenant and all of Tenant's guests in or related to the use of the community pool, hot tub and patio areas.
  • Tenant, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, assignors, executors, and administrators, fully releases and discharges Owner from any and all liabilities, claims, demands, and causes of action by reason of any injury, loss of damage by whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any of his/her guests as a result, or in connection with the occupancy of the premises and agrees to hold Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising there from. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover any reasonable attorneys fees and costs. Owner reserves the right to terminate this Agreement upon their discretion at any time.
  • Any violation of posted rules at property that incur a fine will be the responsibility of the tenant. Examples include access outside of pool and hot tub hours, improper disposal of trash, smoking, excessive noise, parking violations.  
  • By signing this agreement you agree that your rental is transient in nature and does not provide you with tenant rights.  Transient accommodations or “short term rentals” are also subject to applicable Colorado Sales, county and city taxes which are added as a part of your total payment. Should the laws change regarding applicable taxes, we will adjust your booking accordingly.  We are required by law to collect all applicable sales taxes.


Perfect Ski Week

We had such a great time at 13 Mountain Queen. My husband came out early to ski with his brother and they informed me I picked a great place. Perfect Location and close to the slopes. The rest of us met them out there for a long weekend. The accommodations were beautiful. Love the bench station for our shoes and helmets with plenty of places to hang our gear and coats and places for our shoes. The beds and pillow were comfortable. The showers all had great pressure and plenty of hot water. The kitchen was a decent size and enabled plenty of good cooking. The couches were super comfy for us all to hang out when the rest of the family got there and we tried some new games that were there too. I love a big table for family to eat and play games at. Super fun! The location was a quick walk to town. We certainly got our steps in coming back up the hill. The staff was super friendly and the bonus was the indoor parking garage! Super nice considering all the snow! Would definitely rent again. Two levels but not steep steps within the unit which was nice. It was a great layout and decor. All well thought out!

This is a great rental for location. Short 5-10 minute walk to restaurants and stores in downtown Aspen, slopeside (though does require carrying skis across the access road to the lift), and easy access to local supermarkets. Accurately represented in photos online.

We had an amazing stay at this gorgeous condo! The location is easily and quickly walkable to Aspen downtown - just a few blocks downhill and we were right in the middle of everything! The condo was well stocked with basics, impeccably clean, modern and comfortable. We really enjoyed the views of the hills and the action of watching the snow groomers and snow making machines. The condo was spacious and would definitely work for 2 families/couples, as the 2 level layout allows for good privacy. We plan to return without a doubt!

We found the unit to be pretty perfect for our needs. We cooked dinner several times and the kitchen was well stocked. The property management company was super responsive to any question or need. They checked in with us several times to be sure everything was going smoothly. Parking was super convenient in a heated garage. We enjoyed the outdoor area - just having the table and chairs overlooking the mountain was great! The location of the unit was very convenient to restaurants, shops and trails. Loved it!

We chose this property because of it's proximity to both the mountain and the town of Aspen. It's ski-in and a 1-minute walk out to Shadow Mountain lift. The town of Aspen is 5 minutes walk down the hill. Nothing feels hard to get to from this condo. Great views of skiers on the mountain throughout the day. We got a ton of skiing in while still being able to hang out with our kid and parents. Crib and stroller were delivered and picked up for a reasonable charge. Property manager and iTrip were super responsive. This is a great base for skiing families with young kids.

Ski in Ski Out Condo

Ski in ski out condo with great views from public areas and master bedroom. Short walk to downtown and the Silver Queen Gondola. Condo was as pictured and there were no issues. Beds were very firm. Great value for the price. The real 5 stares goes to the iTrip staff. They were always reachable and got back to us and resolved matters quickly. We were missing a lock for our ski locker and someone came that day to fix it and communicated via text with an update when done. If you have a package delivered to their office, they will notify you. Even post-stay they were responsive and helpful. Thank you.

Mountain Queen #13 was spacious and well equipped. Access to the condo was easy, just up a few steps, to unload groceries and skis etc. The gas fireplace was easy. Our only suggestion would be to upgrade the bedding (sheets, comforters) and replace the brown shag carpeting. iTrip was super responsive to any needs we had.

This is such a beautiful, cozy, spacious & spotless condo—and I am super picky! We enjoyed every moment of our week long stay and felt very much at home. The condo is a short walk down the hill into town. It has very comfortable beds & bedding that felt wonderful to slip into at the end of the day! The kitchen is well supplied and a nice size as are all 3 bathrooms. A big thank you to the owners for providing a Kuerig coffee ☕️maker for those of us who love to pack our pods! We will absolutely book this condo again & the iTrip team is the best in the business!

Great views! Wonderful location! Big bathrooms and closets and comfortable beds. Step outside the backdoor to the A1 lift on Ajax. Upstairs renter is noisy ~ fyi! We asked nicely to be aware of the downstairs “neighbor” and got no response. Everything else is great. Nice to have indoor parking. And lots of ski storage.
