3-bedroom, 2.5-bath peaceful lakeside retreat. Designed to comfortably sleep up to 8 guests, the home offers something especially valuable for families and groups traveling together: two distinct living areas and two kitchens. The main level serves as the heart of the home, with a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable gathering spaces, two lake-facing bedrooms, and a wonderful screened-in porch overlooking the peaceful surroundings. Downstairs, the lower level feels almost like a retreat of its own, with a second kitchen, living room, full bathroom, patio access, and a private bedroom.

Outside, follow the walkway down toward the lake, grab a canoe and life jacket, or settle into an Adirondack chair by the water and enjoy the quiet.

Whether you're planning a family getaway, traveling with multiple generations, visiting friends or relatives in Fairfield County, or simply looking for a peaceful escape, Canoe Brook Cottage gives everyone room to gather and room to spread out.

THE SPACE

Canoe Brook Cottage offers two levels of living space, making it especially comfortable for families, couples, and multigenerational stays.

MAIN LEVEL

- Screened-in porch with seating and dining areas

- Dining room open to bright living space

- Primary bedroom w/ king bed, lake views, and dedicated desk/workspace

- Second bedroom w/ queen bed and lake views

- Full bathroom w/ tub/shower combination

- Powder room

The screened porch is one of our favorite spaces in the home, perfect for morning coffee, casual meals, afternoon reading or lingering conversations while enjoying the fresh air and lake setting.

LOWER LEVEL

The lower level offers additional privacy and functions much like a self-contained living space while remaining part of the home.- Second kitchen

- Private Queen Bedroom, w/ trundle bed, walk out to patio.

- Full bathroom w/ walk-in shower

- Direct access to outdoor living areas

Comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests in 3 private bedrooms.

Main Level

Primary Bedroom: King bed, lake views and dedicated workspace

Guest Bedroom: Queen bed and lake views

Lower Level

Guest Bedroom: Queen bed plus trundle bed, hidden bookshelf entrance and walk-out patio access

Crisp cotton bed linens, bath towels and separate lake towels are provided.

BATHROOMS

- Main level full bathroom w/ tub/shower combination

- Main level powder room

- Lower-level full bathroom, walk-in shower

Shampoo, conditioner and body wash are provided.

TWO KITCHENS

Having two fully equipped kitchens gives larger and multigenerational groups added flexibility throughout their stay.

The main kitchen serves as the heart of the home, while the lower-level kitchen provides a second place to prepare meals, snacks and morning coffee. The lower kitchen includes a mini refrigerator.

Both kitchens include:

- Keurig coffee maker

- Drip coffee maker

- Microwave

- Cookware and kitchen essentials

- Dishes, glassware and utensils

SCREENED PORCH & OUTDOOR LIVING

From the screened porch to the lakeside Adirondack chairs, Canoe Brook Cottage gives you plenty of ways to enjoy the outdoors.

The lower-level patio offers:

- Walkway leading toward the lake

- Lakeside Adirondack chairs

Gather for dinner outside, relax around the fire table, or head down toward the water as the sun begins to set.

LAKESIDE LIVING

At Canoe Brook Cottage, the lake isn't just the view. It's part of your stay.

Follow the walkway down to the water, settle into an Adirondack chair, or grab a canoe and explore peaceful, motor-free Canoe Brook Lake.

Canoes are provided for guest use along with adult and children's life jackets.

Spend the morning paddling, try your hand at fishing, relax by the water, or simply enjoy having nowhere you need to be.

LOCATION

Conveniently located in Trumbull in the heart of Fairfield County, Canoe Brook Cottage offers the peaceful feeling of a lake getaway without putting you far from restaurants, shopping, parks and surrounding communities.

It's an ideal home base for a dedicated Connecticut getaway, visiting family and friends, college visits, business travel or simply enjoying a few quieter days by the water.

PETS CONSIDERED (Max 1 pet)

PRIOR APPROVAL REQUIRED before booking.

- Approved pets incur a $25/night pet accommodation fee, charged after booking

- Unauthorized pets are subject to a minimum $500 fee.

- Pets are not permitted on furniture

- Pets must be crated if left unattended.

- Please clean up after pets & report any “accidents” prior to departure.

PLEASE NOTE:

- A ramp and walkway lead from the house toward the lake. The ramp is not ADA compliant or designated as handicap accessible

- Children must be supervised around the lake and waterfront areas

- Life jackets should be worn when using the canoes

- Canoe Brook Cottage is located in a peaceful residential lake community. Please be respectful of our neighbors and observe quiet hours

IMPORTANT BEFORE BOOKING

- Primary guest must be 25+ years of age

- Family-friendly rental only. No parties, events, or gatherings permitted

- Maximum occupancy must be respected. Only registered guests allowed on the property

Verification & Booking Policy

- Guests may be required to complete ID verification prior to check-in

- Access will not be provided until verification is complete

- Reservations made under false or misleading information may be canceled without refund

Respect for Property & Neighbors

- This home is located in a quiet residential area. Guests are expected to respect the property, follow house rules, and be considerate of neighbors at all times
