This condo was awesome! Exactly as pictured and very spacious. The beds were very comfortable. The residents are all very friendly. The sounds of the waves were mesmerizing. My son even got one on one surfing lessons! There was an issue with the front door but maintenance was up to fix it promptly. The location is great too, the beach is quite and not crowded. My daughters loved walking up and down the beach searching for shells. The one thing that I was disappointed in was that the beach chairs were broke and there was no umbrella. My family plans on coming back next year. I highly recommend this place to everyone!!!

The condo was amazing, the views and the gulf right outside your door make this an excellent location. Quite and my kids and wife and I loved it. The kids loved the pool and being able to swim in the gulf. Will most definitely be back.

2nd trip to the same condo. Condo is steps off the beach with a nice quiet atmosphere. Clean & well taken care of. Great sunsets & 2 minute walk to beach bar!! Great for a quiet getaway or bring the family. No issues. Only recommendation would be to ask to replace the beach umbrella or shade tent!!

Thank you for your review. We can promise 2 beach chairs in great shape but regarding the shade we refer guests to beach service.

Our family of 4 (2 kids - 9 & 12) stayed here just 4 days. We felt this place had some pros and some cons. Pros: - right on the beach - great view of sunsets - beautiful and relatively quiet area - good shell collecting - plenty of sleeping space (and space in general) for our family of 4 - kids each had their own twin bed - the place was reasonably clean - Response for repairs was prompt* - things were mostly clean - The place is stocked with beach towels, chairs for the beach, 3 chairs for the balcony, lots of sand toys, books, etc. Cons: - The place is dated (but it's still quaint) - There was not enough places to hang towels and swim suits to dry in the master bath (didn't pay much attention to the kids bath) - The airflow in the master bedroom/bathroom was not great (but it was still comfortable in there as long as we left the doors open). - The fan in the bathroom, doesn't appear to suck out the steam and humidity, it only sucks the air through a filter and back into the room. - The air conditioner broke down on Easter Sunday* - The hair dryer only works on low - The kitchen sink has a smell when you run the water. - Screens are missing or have holes in them. - Windows don't open well - Windows don't lock!!! - The vertical blinds on the windows in the master bedroom, don't really provide adequate privacy, and one of the blinds kept falling off (we noticed the end where it was supposed to attach had broke previously, and someone had created a hole on the other end to hang it from). When we arrived (about an hour early), maintenance was fixing an issue with the screen door (which was resolved by later that evening or the next day - can't remember). The place was relatively clean, but just felt a bit dated and worn. There were some stains on the furniture. The kitchen sink drain smells when you run water. The one glass we pulled out to use was dirty. After that, we bought disposable plates, cups and plastic ware. The people around us all seemed very friendly. We did have one instance of a man yelling in the middle of the night to let him into the elevator. This condo is on the 5th floor, but he was loud enough (where ever he was) to wake us up. We just ignored him. We had been gone all afternoon to visit family on Easter. When we came back, the air conditioner had stopped cooling the air, so it was hot in the unit. It was evening. We called maintenance and someone came right over. Unfortunately, it needed a professional, and being Easter, we had to wait until the next day. Fortunately, it was cool enough in the evenings to open the windows and have it be a fairly comfortable temperature, but some of the windows wouldn't stay open, some didn't have any screens, and the screen in the kids room had big holes in it. We ended up having to close their window (which provided the cross-ventilation) due to noise from the places across the street from that room and bugs coming in through the holes. There were no ceiling fans, and maintenance didn't have any fans to provide to us. Someone did come the next day, and fixed the air conditioner. Fortunately, we happened to stick around our place that day because no one from the management company had come to let this maintenance person in, and I just happened to see him when I looked up from the beach. However, then we had to give up part of our last vacation day to stick around while it was being fixed. They did get it fixed though, so that is the good news. We didn't do any major meal prep. Just used the microwave a couple of times, and the fridge. The kitchen is pretty small, but seems fine (not a lot of counter space). We never all sat at the table at one time either. Not because we thought we couldn't, just because we didn't have any big meals there. The beds felt comfortable. One of the twin beds was very noisy when you moved on it though. All-in-all, it was a decent stay, but I feel like we were overcharged, especially given the issues we had.

Had a wonderful family vacation here. The owners were so nice and super quick to answer any questions we had. Nice and cozy condo and the beach was not crowded. Very pleased.

The condo was in a great location and I wasn't expecting a super nice place but was more interested in being right on the beach. The master bedroom gets barely any airflow from the a/c unit but the rest of the condo was very comfortable. I would stay again if the master bedroom wasn't a sauna, but everything else was fine.

We haven't had any issues with the AC unit in the past, but will get it checked out and make sure air flow is good. Thank you for letting us know!

Short walk to beach was nice. Beds & pillows were horrible. Shower mold was bad. They had to fix the leaky shower that kept me up the first night & replaced the horribly molded shower curtain. Master bedroom was hot & couldn't be fixed. Brought my own toiletries but didn't know to bring a hair dryer. Blinds in master wouldn't completely close which was awkward when it got dark. People were constantly walking past the room at night & in the morning when I was trying to sleep. After all the fees it came to $221 a night. Terrible value for the money except for proximity to beach. The manager told me he would discount the room because of all the problems we had but all we got was a $50 gift card. Will never come back & do not recommend at all. I do recommend the owners get rid of grandma's old blue recliner in the master. Would do wonders to update the place. Also, the beach isn't very kid friendly with the local older man in a g-string with a bikini top that comes by twice a day, among other things.

Thanks for the feedback, and we've addressed all the issues mentioned (except for the older man in a g-string on the beach). The furniture is continuously being updated, and we'll keep on improving to make our Guests more comfortable. If there are any cleaning or maintenance issues, we have a 24hr maintenance line available and will respond immediately.

512 Sunset Chateau was definitely dated with a very small kitchen and dining table that had to be moved each time four people wanted to sit down. The couch and futon were very uncomfortable for TV viewing or reading. Two beach chairs were rotting through. There isn't a private balcony. It's a walkway where you can put chairs, but people are walking past you. I would not stay here again even though the price was reasonable.

We stayed at 512 Sunset Chateau for 4 days with my family of five. The condo was clean, right on the beach, spacious, and we had no surprises. Beach was great, kids enjoyed riding the waves and the pool was refreshing after being in the ocean. The location is excellent, close to dining options, right on the beach, and the beach is not too crowded. The condo had a living area and two bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with two twins. The kitchen was a little small but there was a nice dining area with a table that the five of us used easily. The only negatives might be the shared balcony (would have preferred more privacy),and the elevator was slow and quirky (one elevator was broken), but neither of these things really bothered us. Had a great time and would come back.
