We had a wonderful stay overall. The hosts were kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our visit. The condo was comfortable, and equipped with most of the amenities we needed. We did appreciate the starter supplies that were provided, including 2 trash bags, small dish soap and a sponge,1 package of laundry detergent, and 2 dishwasher pods. The area is beautiful and made for a very enjoyable stay. There were just a few maintenance issues we wanted to mention. The patio door did not have a way to lock, the hallway bathroom exhaust fan was not working, there was only 1 combo lock on the main door(no 2nd security lock), and the stove light was out. We notified the hosts, and they responded promptly, letting us know they would follow up with their maintenance team. Their quick response regarding the concerns was appreciated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this condo to others. With the maintenance repairs and possibly more kitchen essentials, it would be an even better experience.

We had a nice, relaxing time at the South Beach Condo. The apartment is very comfortable and has all the amenities of home. The views are amazing and beach was clean and warm. We were able to enjoy the pool and ping pong table during our stay, both very well kept. The beach was not the least bit crowded, even following 4th of July weekend... a great surprise! All in all it we really enjoyed our time in Treasure Island.

My first stay on the Gulf and it was beautiful. The condo had everything we needed. The lock box gave us a challenge, but we navigated through it. The condo is a bit dated in some areas, but it was very clean and comfortable. Much better than staying at a hotel.

Treasure Island #501

The bathrooms need updated. The kitchen is in need of more equipment so that cooking is easier especially for a two week stay. We had to ask for a new coffee maker and can opener which were both supplied in a timely fashion. Dishwasher is very cheap and loading the dishes was a real hassle as the bottom rack was always falling off the track. We were out of Internet service for about 3 days which was very annoying. This issue was reported repeatedly with no updates on the situation. The view was great and you were very accommodating with our early arrival.

We've stayed at South Beach multiple times and this was the 1st time we had to go buy silverware and multiple other things the room did not have. There was literally 2 forks, 1 spoon and so on. The floor was full of hair and sand, the coffee table had smeared food and sand all over it. Very much in need of some tlc all together. Itrip was totally awesome about everything, I think the owner needs to stop in and spruce things up a bit. I'm always happy to stay at South Beach Condos just maybe been spoiled in all the other units

Great location and beautiful views of the Gulf. The beds in the condo was not comfortable at all. Master was very hard and second bedroom bed was like sleeping on a cot. No batteries in the remote in bedroom 2 so check remotes if not working.The hallway closet with Beach items was a plus (chairs, umbrella,pool noodles,etc..) Overall there are some little things where this unit could use some TLC and updates,but would definitely stay here again for the location and easy access to attractions and dining.

Our family of 5 really enjoyed this condo and location. We loved being able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the ocean view. It is a short walk to the water. We enjoyed the ping pong table, pool, shuffleboard and hammocks. The condo was equipped with enough to get us started. It would be nice to have a little more supply of laundry detergent, toilet paper, trash bags, coffee and dishwasher soap since those items are hard to buy in small quantities and we flew so couldn’t pack in a ton. Some other helpful items that could be added…kitchen scissors, pizza pan, a few Tupperware containers with lids or plastic wrap for leftovers. We really appreciated the beach closet with chairs and also beach towels. We rented a car and found it helpful for getting to and from the airport as well as the short trips shopping and also enjoyed a TB Rays MLB game. We loved the enclosed air conditioned stadium! It was a short 20 minutes from the condo. This was wonderful place and wonderful location right on the beach and close to John’s Pass village for shopping and activities.

We have stayed at South Beach Condos three times in different units. We really like this property. It’s well maintained and the location relatively quiet. Like most rental units it could use some TLC, though you can tell it’s recently been painted and the sofa and chairs are new. The Customer Service is great. We had an issue with the dryer and they sent someone over the same day, a part was ordered overnight and it was fixed the next day. You can’t beat that. What you’re really paying for here is the view of the gulf, it’s incredible. We’ve already booked for next year and look forward to our stay.

We had a lovely time in our condo on the fifth floor! We needed two beds in one bedroom and this condo had that. The photos are accurate which is always a plus - it was as advertised. we enjoyed the TV - lots of channels and the balcony was lovely. We used the refrigerator and the microwave to heat water - no cooking! The seating in the living room was comfortable but very, very low to the ground (hard to get out of). There was a sand sculpture competition down the beach a month ago and the entries still looked great. John's Pass (shopping area) was within walking distance and the other three in our party went there for coffee every morning. Yes, there's everything you need to make coffee here but they like to go out for coffee. There were some nice restaurants very close to our condo.

We stayed at South Beach Condo Hotel almost 10 years ago (through a different rental company) and it is nearly identical to how we remembered it. The beach is semi-private, as public access is about a mile away. There are several hundred yards between the condo and the hotel, but that’s not a bad thing. The buffer makes the beach much more pleasant. The view from the condo is spectacular (we were in room 501). Our condo also had all the convenience of home and we used the washer and dryer throughout the stay. The condo itself is like most Florida condo rentals in that it goes through its share of wear and tear, especially when not-so-thoughtful guests occupy it. There were a few cracked floor tiles, the foldout bed in the living room had a couple of broken springs, the dishwasher had some rust on it, and the paint was chipping in places. Again, not anything out of the usual for this type of condo and it didn’t detract from our experience, especially at this price point and with this fabulous view. Also, the company/owners were very responsive and offered to come out to fix any issues. We were pleased with our stay.

We have visited Treasure Island several times and have stayed at South Beach before in a different unit that was a little bit more updated than this one. This unit was ok and seemed clean enough, but could definitely use some TLC. We had requested two floor fans but they weren't there on our arrival. I sent a text and the fans were delivered to us very quickly. We received quick responses to our inquiries and were appreciative of that. Check in instructions were clear and we had no problems getting our key to the room out of the lockbox when we first arrived. The king bed was not the most comfortable and took a couple of nights to get used to, it seemed very firm to me but I prefer a little more plush mattress. The twin beds didn't seem like very good quality and also could have been more comfortable. Tracks for the closet doors and for the door out to the balcony were really gross looking. Not sure if it was rust or dirt though. One of the closet doors in the twin bedroom was missing. Bathroom fans made a lot of noise as did the king bedroom ceiling fan. Showers didn't have very good water pressure. The lining under the king box spring was hanging to the floor on one side and looked really dirty. Just some small cosmetic improvements would make the place more appealing. We chose this rental mainly due to the price being right and the fact that it is right on the beach. We didn't spend a lot of time in the condo and it served its purpose but while we will most likely stay at South Beach again, we will probably choose another more updated unit next time.

Pulling up to the condo at 11pm it looked a little beat up. Not because of the building itself but the sign had some lights out and it was dark. My hubby and I were nervous like aww crap what did we get ourselves into. We got our keys (easily accessible in a designated after hours area) headed up, again I was nervous because I thought it was ground level and then it wasn't. We get up to the condo and EVERYTHING was BEAUTIFUL! fully furnished, clean, gorgeous view! gorgeous view! In the morning i saw NONE OF THE UNITS ARE GROUND LEVEL. Which for the 6 days we were there I realized is a much better option because everyone had ocean fromt views! There was a pool on property, beach, shopping within walking distance, oh and grills!!!!! It was absolutely the most perfect experience! And because it was a condo and not a hotel room, our friends and family were able to come over and visit. We will definitely be staying there again!

We rent property pretty much on every vacation we take. This was the worst property I have ever stayed in. The condo was not clean, old, everything inside needs to be replaced or gutted. It has a million dollar view out the patio doors (the side windows needs the nasty messed up screen removed so you can actually see out of them) but the unit is horrible.

The two-bedroom condo was roomy enough for five adults and a child...even though one adult had to use the couch...Lol The walk to the beach was pretty much what I thought it would be from the pictures. Condo was quiet, except for a few chairs moving around above. Pool was never crowded. There were always pool toys at the pool so we didn't have to drag ours down to the pool. I did not see a hot tub, which I do believe was advertised. Looks like it may have been there at one point, but is no longer there. The mural that I seen in pictures at the pool was also not there. But it did look like the outside of the condo had been repainted, which looked really nice! The purple and yellow was always EASY to find!! Don't forget to purchase laundry soap as there was no laundry soap for even one load... (not a criticism...because I'm not sure if there was supposed to be or not). We stopped at Walmart on the way to the condo to pick up some things we thought we might need (ex. food, condiments, water, soda, etc.) The kitchen was stocked with enough cups, plates, pots and pans for what we needed. We made breakfast every day and ate out for dinner every night. Wanted to use the grill to grill out but did not get around to it. Loved the ping pong table! Closet was filled with pool toys, beach toys, beach chair and umbrella (even though we chose to use the cabanas). Nice quiet area of the beach, not real crowded. Always found a place without feeling crowded. Had a wonderful family vacation!

I Loved my stay at 501. Is centrally located ,can walk anywhere or take the sun trolly. The condo view of the ocean was magnificent. The condo it self had everything you would need, clean with comfy beds . I would go back there anytime !

Loved this location! Clean, well kept condo with great beach access. Spectacular view of the gulf! Easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Would highly recommend!

We loved the condo and facilities. The location is ideal. There is a lot to do in walking or short driving distance from shopping, dining to live music. The unit itself needs a deep clean and a few new mattresses but overall we loved it!

Fantastic Winter Retreat

The weather was fantastic! But that's not why we gave a 5 star rating!! The condo exceeded all expectation!! Photos were right on, the condo was well equipped for eat ins, the furniture was very comfortable, the bedrooms and linens were perfect. We had a minor problem with a chirping smoke detector and maint was there within an hour with a replacement. We checked out numerous restaurants but Middle Ground and Foxy's were our favorites. We would recommend this condo to our friends and family anytime... J&P

South Beach Condos

Our family of 4 (older kids aged 19/14) have just returned from South beach. The Condo is pleasant, spacious and in a great location on the beach. It does however need upgrading, especially the bathrooms, which aren't shown in pictures. Generally all was good but we have a major concern with the cleaning of the property prior to our arrival which was really poor and more like a mid-week tidy-up than a deep clean. For an expensive location I would have expected really high standards which weren't there. When this was brought to the attention of the iTrip agent he was very polite, seemed surprised and said he would find out what had happened - have never heard any more of it. Things like: Old chewing gum stuck to kitchen bin on the outside of the bin - so it wasn't cleaned, Dirty doors and handles (ACTUAL SMEARS NOT JUST FINGER MARKS), Dirty kitchen cupboard doors (dried egg/splatter marks), Dirty crockery and used plastic type dishes still smelling of old food, dirty place mats & oven gloves. The list goes on but needless to say I wasn't impressed at spending the first couple of hours if my stay here cleaning what should have been done. Would also have helped to have a clothes airer available for towels/small items not to be tumble dried. The immediate area was really quiet as the end of the season - too quiet for us but probably great for couples. easy to drive to slightly more lively locations.

Vacationed in South Beach Condos, 501 the week of September 13, 2015. Fantastic views from this corner unit balcony. The unit is very clean and updated, with convenient & ample parking. We accidentally locked ourselves out of the room & someone from iTrip came to help us within 10 minutes. You are not renting from the folks that man the front desk, so after you get your key, you won't have further contact with them. My only complaint is that the beds are uncomfortable & need replace, as well as the sheets & mattress pad for the king bed ... they kept popping off the corners every night. Other than that? A fabulous place to stay & see sunsets, with all the comforts of home.
