209 I am not sure that I would stay at this condo again. Here are several reasons why. The pictures of the bedrooms are deceiving. They show windows in them with blinds, but to my surprise when we got there, they were fake windows and they were screwed shut. So that left the bedrooms very dark and dungeon like. I think of Florida open air breezy and bright. The LR windows however did let light in the room cause they faced the outdoors, but the same, screwed shut. My thought was fire hazard. The next thing was that they must of not check the lights for the lamps, because two of the lamps were burned out and one of the bedrooms had no other light, so arriving at night made it a little tricky. There are no celling lights in the bedroom or the LR all lamps. The bathrooms were adequate, however the second bathroom the shower drained very slow, any longer then a 10 minute shower you may have a flood. The kitchen sink leak all over, they did come to fix it and the maintenance man that came was very nice and did a great job . They do not leave you much, one dish towel, one dish cloth, 2 tablets for the dishwasher which we never ran. I tiny little bottle of dish soap. 2 garbage bags. So if you are there longer then the weekend you may have to go to the Publix next door, which that was nice. The condo was super facial cleaned, but it really needs a good deep cleaning, I found lots of dirty dishes in the cabinets, and there are no saucers, so for a light snack or a sandwich, so we bought paper plates. There are no spices, so extras of any kind. The toaster is the smallest thing you can find and not much more said about the coffee maker but at least they were there. The carpet could use a good cleaning and the furniture is not the most comfortable. The TV is small maybe a 32 inch. In this big room where the couch is a distance from it, so we never sat on the couch, we moved one of the chairs closer to the TV so we could see and hear it, it is the dame TV I have here at home in a extra bedroom for guests. Not that we watched TV a lot, but when we did it would of been nice to have a bigger TV, and furniture that was comfy. The place had a great dining table nice and big for a family, so that was a plus, and the kitchen was nice, but for me just dark, I like light and airy when I am in Florida. The pool, well they said it was heated, but it is not. Only the sun heats it and in November the suns intensity is not that strong to heat that size of the pool, so it was a little cool, but I went in it anyway to do my workout. The patio was very nice, but could of used some more comfy furniture. But it was nice to face the intercoastal water. Very pretty, but not a lot of wildlife due to the red tide. We did see dolphins one day. This condo was just alright. We based our decision on reviews that we read by other people, and thought that everybody really liked this unit and they did not mention half the things that I did. I understand that everyone's taste is different. I personally would not go back to this unit. Not sure we would go back to the Palms at all. The hallways really need some life added to them as well.

Very nice unit. Comfortable with ample room in living area. Could use some potholders and placemats. We enjoyed the pool and beach each day and having Pubix next door was a bonus. The pool could have used some attention...lots of trash left behind and broken chairs. Thanks for a wonderful week...we will be back!

Palms 209 was a pleasant surprise. It was just as pictured with a beautiful view of the water. We loved seeing the dolphins (almost every day) and the boats cruising by. The condo was very comfortable. If I had to make any suggestions, I would urge the owner to (1) purchase a larger TV for the living area, as the seating makes it difficult for older people to see the small screen well, and (2) consider providing a couple of decks of cards and some games (Scrabble?) for evenings and rainy/colder days. We had no issues while there and we commend the office personnel/maintenance guy, as they were so friendly and helpful. Thanks to the owner for allowing us to share his condo for the week. Although it was cold, we still had a great time.

This condo was very clean and spacious. The perfect location. Beach access is across the street for walking or riding bikes. I had a great time gathering sea shells. Having Publix next door was convenient and the people are so nice. Pool is great and my kids loved it. I had a 22 and an 11 year old with me and they did not get bored. John's pass has everything you need to keep everyone busy, paddle boarding, wave runners, kayaking, shopping, restaurants. This area has a cool key west type of vibe and we had such a fun vacation. I would definitely return and rent this condo again!

It was a very nice condo. It was spacious and had everything we needed. Beautiful view. Even seen dolphins in the intercostal way. I will say it was on the quite end of things. Location is close to the beach and walking distance to bars and restaurants. I had a teenage boy with me and he went to clear water where there was more action. I would stay in this condo again if it was just me and my husband and younger children. If taking teens I would not just because all of the teens seem to be in St. Pete or Clearwater. My son was pretty bored. but it was a very nice condo.

The Condo had wonderful views to the canal. Rooms were big enough for for people, however, the bedrooms were very dark, as there were no lamps in the ceiling. For our opinion, the temperature inside was too warm, and we were advised not to tamper with the termostats, Overall cleanliness was satisfactory, and we would recommend this unit with minor exceptions.

Thank you for the feedback. Guests certainly have control over the thermostat, so we're not sure what happened there. We'll make sure to evaluate the lighting to try to help improve. Thank you!
