The Mountain House at Indian Meadows is an amazing Steamboat vacation rental. Situated steps from the Yampa River and Yampa River core trail, its only 1.4 miles from the resort and 2.5 miles downtown. You are about 200 steps away from a bus stop, and the free bus that takes you to the resort, town, groceries and more. This two level townhome is perfect for multiple and extended families, couples or a boys or girls trip (it will comfortably sleep 8 adults).

The townhome itself lives more like a home and was recently renovated, including new flooring, furniture and paint throughout. The property is immaculate and literally just about everything in it is brand new. You will love being here and not want to leave.

The main floor features a sizable living area which has mountain views, plenty of comfortable seating, a large flat screen Smart TV and an electric fireplace. Kick back, take in the views, a show, movie or game and warm up by the fireplace. The living area also offers a dining table with 6 chairs and nice views.

Off the living area, you can access both the back deck and the kitchen. The back deck has incredible slope views, a grill and is on a wooded, open space and only steps to the river and core trail. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need to cook a meal including all of the appliances, big or small, pots and pans, dishes, utensils and more than you could think of. There is even a nice little nook for your pup, including a water bowl.

There is also a powder room and full size washer and dryer on this level.

The top floor has all three bedrooms. One with a queen bed, one with two twins (that can be converted to a king bed upon request) and the other has three twin beds (bunk bed and trundle). All bedrooms have Smart TV’s, plenty of storage with a closet and drawers and beautiful views. The Queen and bunk rooms have the great ski slope views. There is a full bathroom with tub shower combo on the top floor in the hallway.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

Tenant agrees to leave premises/contents in same condition as found upon move-in, normal wear/wear expected
Max number of occupants shall not be exceeded. Occupancy exceeding/using premises for illegal activity/causing damage to premises or neighboring properties and other acts which interferes with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises.
No open flames. Candle burning not permitted on balconies/in unit with exception of wood burning fireplace. Do not remove smoke detectors. Use stove fan when cooking to avoid smoke alarm activation.
There is no daily maid service but can be arranged for fee.
"No pets" policy must be observed (unless noted as pet friendly/fees have been paid). If evidence found you will be asked to vacate immediately with no refund of rent/deposit.
No smoking in unit. Damage deposit will be forfeited/you will incur charge of $1000 if you opted for damage insurance as smoking is not covered. You will incur additional charge for carpet cleaning and deodorizing if evidence of smoking.
Reservations are not made by or for a minor, defined as person under age of 25. We require one member of party to be 25. Violators will be evicted with forfeiture of all monies.
Owner/owners agents may enter premises in case of an emergency; to make any necessary repairs/alterations/improvements/supply necessary services/show premises to prospective purchasers/renters/contractors. Owner will provide at least 24 hrs notice of intent to enter (except in case of emergency)
Report maintenance needs, we will respond as quickly as possible. Refunds will not be made for maintenance issues including, but not limited to heating/air conditioning/appliances/televisions.
iTrip or Owner, do not assume liability for loss/damage/injury to persons/personal property nor accepts liability for inconveniences/damage/loss/injury arising from temporary defects/stoppage of water/gas/cable/wifi/electricity/plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions/natural disasters/acts of God/other reasons beyond its control.
Tenant acknowledges if premises reserved includes a community pool, the undersigned agrees and acknowledges pool/patio/deck can be dangerous, the deck/patio can be slippery when wet, and injury may occur if not careful. With full knowledge of above,Tenant accepts/assumes all risks involved to Tenant/Tenant's guests related to use of pool/patio areas.
Tenant fully releases/discharges Owner from all liabilities/claims/demands/causes of action by reason of any injury/loss of damage by whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any guests as result, or connection with occupancy of premises and agrees to hold Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover any reasonable attorneys fees and costs. Owner reserves right to terminate this Agreement upon their discretion at any time.
Any violation that incurs a fine will be tenant responsibility. Examples include improper trash disposal, smoking, excessive noise, parking violations.

This unit was exactly as presented. Clean, spacious, plenty of storage. Plenty of cooking/grilling tools. The area was quiet and right next to a walking/running/biking path. Our family had a great stay here.

Our family really lucked out timing our snowboard trip to Steamboat, and capitalized on the weather dumping snow the night before we arrived, and again the night before we departed. Steamboat lived up to it's nomenclature, champagne powder and awesome tree riding in late March!! We were happy to also find a reasonable spot, within five minutes drive to the resort and Main Street downtown. We would've rated it 5 stars, if we were offered a discounted service fee for the inoperable dishwasher, which we were advised of on our drive to the mountain. Having cable would've also been nice to have but aside from those two things, it was priced well for the accommodations provided.

Everything was fabulous with our trip! The house is well stocked and very comfortable. It is larger than it appears in the photos. Easy drive to multiple locations for skier drop off. Close to everything. Beautiful area to walk dogs - so dog friendly! Highly recommend.

Convenient location and a quiet condo.

This location and condo met the needs of guests aged 18 to 85. All bedrooms are upstairs, but the handrail and stairs were fine for my elderly parents. We also brought our old dog, who loved walking along the paved path behind the condo. The house is located just a few minutes by car from downtown.

We used this place for a group of friends. It was on the shuttle route which provided easy access to the mountain. Additionally the sleeping arrangements worked out well. Would stay again!

Great house just outside of town

Our stay at this property was great. The location is why we picked it. It is just outside of town so it stays quieter at night. There is a great Greenway right behind the house which you can use for walks/runs/biking which we used a lot. The house had everything we needed and if something was missing the owners were quick to respond if we needed it. You will enjoy your stay here.

Lovely stay in Steamboat

We had a lovely stay in Steamboat and enjoyed the spacious townhome! The back deck backs up to trees and behind that is a paved path...perfect for a morning walk with the dogs. There were plenty of towels and the water pressure was great. The location was ideal for us - close to the mountains and trails, easy parking outside the unit, and a quick drive or bike ride into town.

This townhome is quite well equipped with everything a family would need for a comfortable short or long stay in Steamboat. It is situated so close to the mountain that we easily hopped on a free bus to ski. It is also centrally located near downtown Steamboat, which is great for grocery/drug store/just for the heck of it shopping. We found nothing lacking in this unit - all kitchen essentials (we cooked our meals), full sized stove, microwave, diswasher and refrigerator, plenty of heat, extremely comfy beds, loads of closet space (not commonly found in vacation rentals), and a nicely sized main bathroom. We had plenty of space to park right in front of our unit. The complex is quiet. The views from the living room window were wonderful, and we know if we came in the summer we would enjoy the back deck/dining table. We felt like we had plenty of space to spread out, relax, and enjoy our rest time. The furnishings were bright, updated and cozy. We loved everything about this unit, and would definitely come again!
