The Steamboat Slope View Lodge is a hidden gem amongst the trees, and offers a peaceful, private setting with amazing panoramic views of Mt. Werner and the Yampa Valley. You feel like you are in the woods yet perfectly located near both the mountain base area (2 miles) and downtown (3 miles), making it the perfect Steamboat vacation retreat.
The spacious, 3144 sq. ft. cabin style property has all the creature comforts you need. The front door opens to the entry hallway which leads to the main level including a powder room, large living area, dining area, kitchen, and the main level deck that offers the hot tub, a grill and plenty of outdoor seating. The views from the decks are unforgettable. The dining area is highlighted by a beautiful stained glass window situated above the large windows, that offer fantastic views. The large, wooden dining room table seats 8. The fully equipped, professional kitchen features stainless appliances, including a wolf range, lots of counter space and everything you will need to cook a meal. The living area features a gas fireplace, large flat screen tv and ample, comfy seating, along with the views. Off the living area is a study, for those looking for some quiet time, which includes ia fantastic massage chair, perfect after a day on the slopes.
Upstairs is the master bedroom suite (no door) and the bunk room (door). Wake up to amazing mountain views in a comfy king bed. The master also has a wood-burning fireplace (dura flame type logs are provided), large flat screen tv, a balcony and a beautiful updated, large bathroom with both a separate glass shower and as well as a large bath tub. The bunk room has two twin beds. This level makes the perfect family suite where the parents have their own space and some privacy, but the kids can be right there.
The three other bedrooms and two full bathrooms are on the bottom level. The second master suite has a queen bed, full bathroom with a shower/tub combo, balcony access, flat screen tv and a great reading chair. There is also a king bedroom with access to the same patio and a flat screen tv. The third downstairs bedroom has two twin beds. There is a full bathroom with a shower/tub combo in the hallway for the king and twin bedrooms and a washer and dryer.
Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided for your comfort.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.
Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.
Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.
