True ski in ski out* condo. Walk about 25 steps and click on your skis or board, its that simple and one of the best locations in Steamboat.

*Please note: There is no guarantee that there will be enough snow for this in early ski season (November 15-December 15) and also in late season (after Mid March). Snowfall levels vary from year to year.

Steps to community hot tub - *If you are booking a stay in April-May or September-November please check with us with to be sure the hot tub is operational during your stay if this is an important part of your vacation. They occasionally close for seasonal cleaning etc.

About a block or so to the free bus stop that takes you to and from gondola/base area skiing, town, restaurants, pubs, shopping & More

The Ski Trail Condominiums is one of only a few complexes in Steamboat that boasts tru ski in ski out* accommodations and makes for an amazing vacation rental location.

The condo itself is only steps from the community hot tub, grills and outdoor dining area. Enter the unit into the living area with offers ample, comfortable seating on a sofa and love seat. Kick back and relax by the fireplace and watch a show, move or game on the large flat screen TV. The dining table can seat six.

Right off the living area is the fully equipped kitchen that has everything you will need for staying in and cooking a meal.

Both bedrooms and bathrooms are in a hallway off of the living area.

The master bedroom features a comfy, king sized bed, a flat screen tv, a closet, dresser and a private full bathroom with a tub shower combo. There is also a small desk and combined with high speed Xfinity broadband WiFi, this makes the Ski Trail #102 perfect for your remote working needs.

The second bedroom has a full over full bunk bed, closet and dresser.

The second bathroom has a tub/shower combo.

Secured, private ski locker right outside the unit.

There is a coin operated laundry room in the building.

During the summer, you are right there on the biking and hiking trails, as well as other activities at the base of the mountain.

Most mountain residences, including this property, do not have air conditioning. Fans are provided for your comfort.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

** In March 2020 when the resort shut down, we gave refunds for any unused nights and would do that again.

Frequently Asked Questions

Tenant agrees to leave premises/contents in same condition as found upon move-in, normal wear/wear expected
Max number of occupants shall not be exceeded. Occupancy exceeding/using premises for illegal activity/causing damage to premises or neighboring properties and other acts which interferes with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises.
No open flames. Candle burning not permitted on balconies/in unit with exception of wood burning fireplace. Do not remove smoke detectors. Use stove fan when cooking to avoid smoke alarm activation.
There is no daily maid service but can be arranged for fee.
"No pets" policy must be observed (unless noted as pet friendly/fees have been paid). If evidence found you will be asked to vacate immediately with no refund of rent/deposit.
No smoking in unit. Damage deposit will be forfeited/you will incur charge of $1000 if you opted for damage insurance as smoking is not covered. You will incur additional charge for carpet cleaning and deodorizing if evidence of smoking.
Reservations are not made by or for a minor, defined as person under age of 25. We require one member of party to be 25. Violators will be evicted with forfeiture of all monies.
Owner/owners agents may enter premises in case of an emergency; to make any necessary repairs/alterations/improvements/supply necessary services/show premises to prospective purchasers/renters/contractors. Owner will provide at least 24 hrs notice of intent to enter (except in case of emergency)
Report maintenance needs, we will respond as quickly as possible. Refunds will not be made for maintenance issues including, but not limited to heating/air conditioning/appliances/televisions.
iTrip or Owner, do not assume liability for loss/damage/injury to persons/personal property nor accepts liability for inconveniences/damage/loss/injury arising from temporary defects/stoppage of water/gas/cable/wifi/electricity/plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions/natural disasters/acts of God/other reasons beyond its control.
Tenant acknowledges if premises reserved includes a community pool, the undersigned agrees and acknowledges pool/patio/deck can be dangerous, the deck/patio can be slippery when wet, and injury may occur if not careful. With full knowledge of above,Tenant accepts/assumes all risks involved to Tenant/Tenant's guests related to use of pool/patio areas.
Tenant fully releases/discharges Owner from all liabilities/claims/demands/causes of action by reason of any injury/loss of damage by whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any guests as result, or connection with occupancy of premises and agrees to hold Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover any reasonable attorneys fees and costs. Owner reserves right to terminate this Agreement upon their discretion at any time.
Any violation that incurs a fine will be tenant responsibility. Examples include improper trash disposal, smoking, excessive noise, parking violations.  


Nice condo, no surprises...

The best thing about this condo is there were no surprises. Nothing ruins a trip faster than something unexpected happening. The other good thing is that the price per night for the condo is set about right for the quality of the condo. Finally, I'm always cautious about how "ski-in/ski-out" a condo really is. This one requires about a 50 foot walk across a short parking lot. Not unreasonable. Overall, it was a good condo (and a good trip).

A perfect place for a ski get-away

My family and I came to Ski Trail 102 over Christmas. The location is perfect for true ski-in / ski-out. The unit is legitimately directly below the Gondola to Thunderhead. To get to the actual slope, you walk across a parking lot and click into your skis and head downhill. The base area is about 150 yds down the hill directly to the gondola. The unit is well maintained and outfitted. The management is responsive and we did not have any issues while on the mountain. If you are unfamiliar with Steamboat, you need to know that there is a world-class shuttle system that ferries people around town. This unit is on the "Green Line" and the stop is about a 2 minute walk from the unit. It's about a 2 minute ride to Gondola Square (so close that we'd probably just walk it in spring, summer or early fall). This was a perfect location for our family of 4 for a quick visit to Steamboat. I definitely recommend this unit for a ski trip to Steamboat.

Perfect location! Steps from skiing! Walking distance to the free bus. Condo was clean and perfect size for three adults. Great communication! The only issue we had was we asked to arrive an hour early and they agreed at no cost but this was not communicated to the onsite management who walked in the condo without being let in by us.
