This beautiful, modern 2 bedroom, 2 bath top floor condo, literally in the middle of downtown Steamboat offers breath-taking, panoramic views from the living area, both bedrooms and the balconies of the slopes of Mt. Werner, the Yampa River, Emerald Mountain and downtown Steamboat.

Not only are you steps from some of Steamboat’s favorite restaurants, you also have access to the huge 2nd floor common area, which features a fire pit and outdoor furniture to lounge in while you take in the beautiful views of Emerald Mountain, Sleeping Giant, the Yampa River & Downtown Steamboat.

Downtown Howelsen also provides a great living space for your family and friends, with gorgeous interiors featuring granite countertops, beautiful wood cabinetry and flooring, stainless appliances, warm paint colors, comfortable furniture and a fantastic gas fireplace.

The open living area offers big windows and the amazing views from inside as well as the balconies. The cook's kitchen is immaculate, has stainless steel appliances, a ton of beautiful granite counter space and is stocked with everything you'll need to stay in a make a meal. There is a dining table and counter seating off of the kitchen, as well as an outdoor dining table on the main balcony, along with a gas grill.

Relax on the brand new sofa and recliner next to the gas fireplace and take in the views while you play a game, watch a movie or show on the large flat screen TV. The sofa pulls out with a very nice, brand new memory foam mattress.

Both bedrooms have doors to balconies and the incredible views, along with flat screen TVs. The master suite has a really comfortable king memory foam bed and beautiful full bathroom, with a double vanity and both a separate glass shower and open bath tub. The second bedroom has a very comfy queen bed. There is bathroom right outside in the hallway. There is also a stackable washer and dryer available for your convenience.

Howelsen conveniently offers an underground parking garage and an elevator that takes your directly to the top floor and your unit. You have one assigned parking space.

Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.

Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.

Tenant agrees to leave premises/contents in same condition as found upon move-in, normal wear/wear expected

Max number of occupants shall not be exceeded. Occupancy exceeding/using premises for illegal activity/causing damage to premises or neighboring properties and other acts which interferes with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises.

No open flames. Candle burning not permitted on balconies/in unit with exception of wood burning fireplace. Do not remove smoke detectors. Use stove fan when cooking to avoid smoke alarm activation.

There is no daily maid service but can be arranged for fee.

"No pets" policy must be observed (unless noted as pet friendly/fees have been paid). If evidence found you will be asked to vacate immediately with no refund of rent/deposit.

No smoking in unit. Damage deposit will be forfeited/you will incur charge of $1000 if you opted for damage insurance as smoking is not covered. You will incur additional charge for carpet cleaning and deodorizing if evidence of smoking.

Reservations are not made by or for a minor, defined as person under age of 25. We require one member of party to be 25. Violators will be evicted with forfeiture of all monies.

Owner/owners agents may enter premises in case of an emergency; to make any necessary repairs/alterations/improvements/supply necessary services/show premises to prospective purchasers/renters/contractors. Owner will provide at least 24 hrs notice of intent to enter (except in case of emergency)

Report maintenance needs, we will respond as quickly as possible. Refunds will not be made for maintenance issues including, but not limited to heating/air conditioning/appliances/televisions.

iTrip or Owner, do not assume liability for loss/damage/injury to persons/personal property nor accepts liability for inconveniences/damage/loss/injury arising from temporary defects/stoppage of water/gas/cable/wifi/electricity/plumbing, as well as due to weather conditions/natural disasters/acts of God/other reasons beyond its control.

Tenant acknowledges if premises reserved includes a community pool, the undersigned agrees and acknowledges pool/patio/deck can be dangerous, the deck/patio can be slippery when wet, and injury may occur if not careful. With full knowledge of above,Tenant accepts/assumes all risks involved to Tenant/Tenant's guests related to use of pool/patio areas.

Tenant fully releases/discharges Owner from all liabilities/claims/demands/causes of action by reason of any injury/loss of damage by whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any guests as result, or connection with occupancy of premises and agrees to hold Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover any reasonable attorneys fees and costs. Owner reserves right to terminate this Agreement upon their discretion at any time.

Any violation that incurs a fine will be tenant responsibility. Examples include improper trash disposal, smoking, excessive noise, parking violations.

We loved the condo location and having a locker to utilize close to the gondola at Steamboat. It made it so nice to not have to travel back and forth with our gear. The condo was close to so many good restaurants, we never had a bad meal. I would delicately rent here again, if we return to steamboat.

We had so much fun staying in our "downtown condo" this past weekend for Winter Carnival. We have been coming to Steamboat for the past 25 years and always stay on the mountain. This was our first experience staying downtown, and it did not disappoint! This was the perfect condo to have during Winter Carnival. We were just steps away from all the action, and could even hear the parade from our balcony. The condo was beautifully furnished and slept 6 of us comfortably. Would definitely stay here again!

The condo in Steamboat Springs was lovely. The view out the windows are of the ski slopes. The decor was wonderful--makes me want to learn to ski, so I could come again in the winter. We stayed in July to attend a wedding. The condo is equipped with everything you need ,except a chef. Many nearby restaurants are just a short walk away. Near to river and riverside trails to walk., run or bike. Steamboat had a lot going on the week we were there. Rodeo, art festival, hot air ballon festival, and Saturday farmers market--but the town never felt crowded (but glad we had underground parking with the condo). Hope to visit again--would love to stay in same condo if available.

Walk to anything in the downtown area within 5 minutes. Beautiful view of the Mountain and river off the balcony. Very clean and secure.

This is a lovely, expansive unit, tastefully decorated, super clean and convenient. Highly recommend staying here, but suggest a few small improvements, considering the price. Better lighting in smaller bathroom, higher quality bed pillows and a blanket, in addition to very lightweight comforter (it’s February!).

Suite 301 is absolutely amazing! We have three small children and the suite was more than enough room for all of us and my wife. Beautiful upgrades and views. Not all the suites in this building have great views but 301 does. Location-wise, you are the center of everything. Didn’t use our car the whole time and we were walking distance to everything: lots of restaurants, hot springs pool, coffee shop, theatre, farmers market, the Yampa, etc. We will definitely be back!

We are finishing up a week in the Howelsen unit and it has been a great experience. The location, just off main street, makes it easy to walk to restaurants and activities. We also enjoyed easy access to the biking trail along the Yampa River. The condo is beautiful on the inside, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen has plenty of dishes. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the evening with a great view of the ski resort. There was construction during the day that started a little earlier than we hoped, but iTrip did a great job informing us of the construction before and after we booked the reservation. We also had a small maintenance issue during our stay, which they addressed the same day that we called about it. Based on my interactions with Jason from iTrip, I would definitely book through iTrip again. We were surprised by how quiet the unit was at night given it is just a 1/2 block off of the main street. We never heard any neighbors and the street noise was minimal.

I love this condo! I’ve stayed here many times. It is well appointed, clean and extremely comfortable. It is so convenient to everything in town and it’s nice to have underground parking and be able to walk everywhere. I would highly recommend staying at this condo. Howelson #301

We have loved every minute of this spot in the heart of downtown. Mountain Views from every angle. Saturday farmers market 1/2 block away, as is Yampa river entrance for floating or Mountian bike rentals and trails. Communication has been excellent. Note that road construction is being completed along 7th street and although almost complete, this week was directly beneath condo - so from 8:30-4pm (weekdays) there have been some noisy hours. It hasn’t disrupted happy hour or evenings and with everything to do we’ve been out most of the time. Also, due to Covid many of the local pubs are closed so the off hours have been very peaceful. The condo amenities are excellent and location is heart of town. We would absolutely recommend to friends and we’d stay here again.

After a rough start we had a great stay at the Howelsen condo. The building air conditioning was being repaired a few days before we arrived and it was hot the day we got there so the unit was 81 degrees when we arrived. It took a couple of days to get it to cool down. However I felt like Jason from iTrip was extremely responsive and willing to go above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We were glad we stuck it out because you can’t beat the location of this property. It was close to everything. This unit has two balconies one was pretty small but the other had a table and chairs. It was nice to sit out there in the evenings and people watch. We rented bikes and they were very safe in the garage area. The beds were comfortable and the sheets super soft. Great showers and appliances. We pretty much had everything we needed. Would stay here again for sure and use iTrip for our next stay!

Condo is in a great location. Easy walking distance to anywhere in town. Check in was very easy thru email, did not have to meet anyone, all directions were very clear. We had asked for a pack n play and was in unit as promised. Everything was clean and beds were very comfortable!! Would definitely stay here again.

I loved our stay here! I think the best part was the ski locker in a heated room in Gondola Square. It is so convenient! We dropped our gear off the night we arrived and the next morning we took the free bus to the ski area. It comes every 20 minutes and the stop is half a block away. On our last day of skiing, we took the car and loaded up our equipment. There are a few free 15 minute parking spaces in the garage and it was so easy. I'm spoiled and my never get a condo without a locker again! The condo itself is very well appointed and the view of the ski mountain is spectacular. The kitchen has everything and I even grilled steaks on the patio grill one night. We went out a few nights also and because the condo is downtown, walking to bars and restaurants was a matter of a few blocks. I'm already thinking of coming back in the summer. The condo is a block from the Yampa River and I think I'll try tubing next!

Fantastic top floor condo in the heart of Steamboat Springs. Fully stocked kitchen with high end appliances, very comfortable bedrooms and fantastic living room with mountain views. Very close to shops and restaurants, with the bus station stop half a block away. And, three days of powder completed our perfect stay. Yes, i will be back and i highly recommend this place.

Our condo in downtown Steamboat was lovely. We have stayed at Howelson Place many times, but not in this particular unit, or with itrip. The staff was very attentive. Answering any questions that arose with in minutes. The unit was clean and orderly.

This condo is fantastic! The view of the ski slopes and town take your breath away as you walk into the condo! The kitchen and condo are very well appointed and there is nothing that you need to take besides your clothes and toothbrush!! The kitchen has everything you need to make great meals. The furniture is all beautiful and in perfect condition. You can tell that the Owner spared no expense in equipping this condo! The beds... I didn't want to get up in the mornings! The beds are the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The mattresses are fabulous & the sheets weren't those scratchy hotel sheets, they were soft and luxurious! The bathrooms are spotless! It was so nice to know that the place was absolutely clean!! We didn't have to move the car all weekend because we could walk to everything we wanted to do. The free bus is an added bonus to wherever you want to go! I will definitely stay here again, it was the best I've stayed in in Steamboat!

Condo is in a great location in walking distance to almost everything downtown. Great place to base out of for hikes, gondola ride, hot springs. I’m super picky about accommodations and this place was fantastic. Super clean with high end furnishings and comfortable beds. Perfect for two adult couples. Fire pit on the second floor patio door as lovely at night and a great place to watch the sunset. I highly recommend this place.
