Located downtown on Yampa St above the iconic Double Z Barbecue Restaurant, the Downtown Double Z Bunkhouse on Yampa is a warm and cozy, 2 bedroom, 1 bath condo in one of Steamboat’s most desirable locations with unforgettable views. Not only are you steps from some of Steamboat’s favorite restaurants and bars you are across the street from the Yampa River, Yampa River Core Trail, and Little Toots Park. Not much farther and around the corner is Emerald Mountain, Howelsen Hill, the Rodeo grounds, and all of the activities that take place year-round. No less outstanding are the incredible views. Enjoy fantastic Howelsen Hill views from the deck and living area, including the fireworks shows on New Years, Winter Carnival in February and July 4th!
The condo itself provides a warm and cozy home base for your Steamboat vacation. The living area features comfortable seating with the amazing aforementioned views and a large flat screen TV that is streaming ready. Off the living area is a dining area with a table and four chairs as well as the kitchen. It has everything you will need to stay in and cook a meal.
The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the condo. One features a Queen bed and flat screen TV. The other bedroom has a bunk bed with a trundle bed for a total of three twin beds, as well as a futon.
Outside the second bedroom is a full bathroom with a walk in shower.
Street parking is available but note overnight parking on the street is not allowed in the winter. There is an overnight lot a few blocks away for overnight parking in the winter.

Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.
Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.
