Shipwatch 310 is back on the rental market after extensive renovations to the entire condominium complex. Shipwatch Condos is a gated development right on the beach with a large pool, grill & picnic area, private beach access, and covered parking. This unit is located on the top floor and is right beside the elevator and stairs. For convenience, Unit 310 has a large storage closet located on the ground level. A beach wagon, umbrella, and plenty of chairs are available for your use, but there is still lots of extra room for any of your personal items. The condo also has a fold-away twin size cot perfect for a small child.

Peaceful, Well-Equipped Condo with Ocean Access and Pool

We stayed at Shipwatch #310 from Sunday, June 1 through Monday, June 9, 2025, and had a wonderful nine-day experience on St. Simons Island. This two-bedroom, two-bath unit was everything we hoped for — and more. My wife and I have been visiting St. Simons Island for nearly 30 years, staying in a wide variety of rentals and hotels. Based on that experience, we can confidently say Shipwatch #310 stands out. The condo was super quiet (even being near the elevator, we heard no noise); the kitchen was very well-equipped; and the large flat-screen TV allowed us to easily stream our Netflix and Prime Video accounts. The water pressure in both showers was excellent, and we loved the view of the “sea of green” tree canopy from the living room. While you can stand by the edge of the patio to see the ocean, the peaceful tree view from the ocean and patio is a lovely alternative. The entire unit was incredibly clean — right down to the shower grout and the dishes in the cabinet. It felt spotless and fresh when we arrived. The air conditioner also cooled the unit quickly and kept it very comfortable during our stay. The unit was outfitted with high-end, very quiet washer, dryer, and dishwasher appliances, as well as incredibly comfortable bath towels. The sheets on the beds were noticeably super-comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a great night's sleep. Thoughtful touches included plenty of hangers in the closet and a ground-floor storage locker stocked with fishing poles, a beach umbrella, beach chairs, and a beach wagon. Check-in was seamless thanks to the very detailed email from the property management company. As a bonus, there was a small surprise waiting for us at check-in, which was a really nice welcome. The iTrip Golden Isles property management company also responded quickly to my parking pass question. We appreciated the informative guest book and the nice touch of board games (chess, checkers, Monopoly, Scrabble) even though we didn’t use them. Parking was plentiful, and just past the pool, there is a walking path to the ocean. The tasteful and calm decor — complete with rocking chairs on the patio and swivel chairs in the living room — made it feel like home. As a Fora Certified Travel Advisor, I notice the little things that make a stay truly memorable, and Shipwatch #310 exceeded expectations in every way. If we had to suggest anything, it would be minor: a table on the patio for outdoor meals, and a larger colander would make an already well-stocked kitchen even better. Overall, Shipwatch #310 was a five-star experience. We would happily stay here again and recommend it without hesitation!

Absolutely loved our unit and can’t wait to return. The rooms were extremely clean and filled with sunshine. The furniture lovely and the beds were so comfy. The short walk to the beach enjoyable. The view of the ocean from the third floor walkway is breathtaking and I have many pictures to remind me of the wonderful vacation. I love telling everyone about St. Simons Island and the wonderful Shipwatch unit !!!!

We very much enjoyed staying at Shipwatch 310. We have stayed at the Shipwatch condos before and have always loved it. The location is perfect because there is no road noise, the neighbors are quiet, and the pool is private. We definitely recommend this rental and will be staying here again.
