The property was in a great location in the Lincolnville area. Since parking is very difficult in downtown, it was so nice to leave the car at the rooming house and walk everywhere. For the money the accommodations were a good value. The rooms were clean and spacious for two people. The large kitchen was wasted space. My only complaints would be the towels, sheets, and TV. The towels were old, mismatched, scratchy, and had bleach stains on them. The sheets also had stains and both the towels and sheets looked like something a college kid would use. We were unable to work the confusing remote to the TV and it was too late to text someone to ask. A card with directions on how to use it would be very helpful. I did like how you arranged a fluffy gray kitty to greet me on the porch to have coffee with every morning LOL. Overall our experience was very good. Thank you, Sharon Butler, Arlington, TX

Hi Sharon- We are glad you had a very good experience at Casita II, enjoyed the clean and spacious accommodations and its close proximity to downtown. We apologies for the difficulties you had with the television and appreciate the idea of a card with specific instructions. Your feedback about the towels and sheets has been forwarded to the owner for consideration. It was a pleasure to host you and we hope to host you again in the future.

Check in was super easy and even though we arrived about 15 minutes prior to 3 pm we contacted the host and was let in right away. The apartment was small yet cozy and had all the necessities. We even had a nice welcome basket with snacks and water and a little note from David. There were only 2 of us so we shared the bed as the couch/sofa thing didn't look to be too comfy. It was close enough to one of the trolley stops #10 (Highly recommend using the trolley during your stay) that we didn't have to walk all the way into down town area. If you missed the trolley in the late afternoons the walk back to the apartment wasn't too bad either. It is about a 15 minute walk to the South end of St. George Street. The only down side was the parking. It is street parking and once you find a good spot you do whatever you can to not move your vehicle until you are ready to leave. I had to text David one night to help with parking as I wasn't sure how far down the street you could park and he was very responsive and very helpful. Just be prepared for street parking.

The unit was clean and had very basic necessities provided. There was also a little welcome basket which was nice. We were able to take advantage of the discounts provided for tours as well. What we were not prepared for was the street parking in a larger truck. We had to drive the block many times to find a place that would fit our truck that was legal to park at. Had to walk a good distance with our stuff, and google where it was legal to park. The ad clearly stated it was street parking, we just neglected to really factor that in. This building also has other people living in other units, my husband had a problem with the noise. It was mostly the sound of people coming up/down the stairs and out the front doors. Not terrible at all, we're just not used to apartment buildings, etc. For us I think we'll probably try to stay in an single dwelling next time. Again, just personal preference. Good location. Not as close to the historic area as I imagined, but we got some extra exercise so that's not a bad thing I suppose. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Hi Lea- So glad you found the property welcoming, clean and convenient. We understand the street parking with a large vehicle was difficult for you. The narrow street parking in old town can take some patience. We are pleased you were able to locate a space. Thank you for highlighting the fact that this property hosts other guests and if you are not familiar with hearing others roaming about, as in apartment living, it can take some getting use to. It was a pleasure to host you and hope to host you again, perhaps in one of our single dwelling properties. Thank you for your review!

This is a fantastic place to stay in. The apartment was sparkling clean, very comfortable, and in a great location! Everything is within walking distance, and despite it being a holiday weekend, the neighborhood was very quiet. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone coming to St. Augustine.

We love the apartment it was close to everything we thought it was a really good deal for the money. The tenets upstairs were so sweet and helpful & kind. I met the cleaning staff they were very helpful very kind. I needed fresh towels and the property manager got them to me very quickly. We loved the deals from the Itrip vacations where he bought 1 ticket and got a 2nd ticket to the attraction for free. There were a few downsides of the stay. The TV was run through the Internet and there was really no explanation of how to get the TV to work so we didnt have TV well we were there. Also the coffee pot was very small and only be 2 cups at a time. But overall it was a great stay we had a great time and I would definitely use my trip vacations again.

My boyfriend and I spend a weekend in St Augustine and this place was the best decision. We loved it! It’s is super central, right in the downtown area, just a couple of minutes (walking) from all the main attractions. It was clean and well prepared. It should be noted that that the bed is right next to a window that’s right behind some rocking chairs on the porch. However, there are blinds on the window and curtains in the closet that you can put up for additional privacy, but people could potentially hear you and vice versa. We stayed in 2 nights during our trip, it was raining one night and then we were just tired the next day, and a couple people sat in the chairs but they didn’t stay long/weren’t loud at all so it wasn’t a bother. If you plan to be out most of the time then this is a real non-issue. There was a note from the owners that during some weekends and holidays there could be a fair bit of noise from the street. We could hear the comings and goings of other residents in the shared front foyer but nothing outrageous by any means and we didn’t hear anything from the street. Also the place was a little humid, but that’s something normal, due to the age of the construction so it’s not going to be perfect. Overall, we loved the place. We liked the fact that we could walk everywhere, and the neighborhood seems very safe and peaceful. We had a lot of fun! It was a nice little trip. Great experience!

We arrived at the Casita ll and were able to get in without any issues. It was pretty much as described. Small but very clean. Construction is being done next-door, but a bag of foam earplugs have been left next to the bed. The owners had left some coffee and a little sugar, which is very nice as that is the most important part of vacation to me… Coffee. There was no place to put away clothes, except a closet with a few hangers. I would like to of seen at least a small chest just to put some things away. Otherwise I thought the place was nice, it wasn't luxurious but we did not pay for luxury. The bed was very comfortable . if I were to come back to this area I would certainly consider staying here again

For the amount of money we paid, I thought it would be a little nicer. It looks better in pictures. When you walk in the building, it wreaks of weed I’m guessing from the other tenants that seem to live there. Neighborhood is kind of scetchy. For the 3 nights we stayed, it was alright. I probably won’t ever stay again though. I thought it was priced too high for what it was. The hosts were friendly though.

Plastic ( pollster) sheets should be banned. I went to the store and bought 100% cotton for my stay. Kitchen flatware looks like the least expensive from the dollar store. Rachael was very helpful in getting tv tuned.
