Endless horizon
5/5 stars
We had a family Thanksgiving at endless horizons. The view from the top deck is amazing . We had a great time in the cabin. The children and the whole family loved the game room. It got a little noisy but that was part of the experience. Great open floor plan on the top floor for cooking, watching football and movies. Large table for eating and playing games. Fire pit for making s’mores and hot tub for relaxing. Memories to last a lifetime and fun experience for the family . We had family ranging from 73 to 7 and everyone was able to enjoy the experience.

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful experience at Endless Horizons! We’re thrilled to hear that you and your family had a fantastic Thanksgiving getaway and that the cabin met your needs for such a special occasion. It’s great to know that everyone, from the youngest children to the family members in their golden years, enjoyed the game room and the amazing view from the top deck. We’ve designed the open floor plan to facilitate family gatherings, and it sounds like it worked perfectly for cooking, watching football, and creating lasting memories together. We’re glad you enjoyed the fire pit for s'mores and the hot tub for relaxation. It’s those little moments that make a stay truly memorable! Thank you for choosing to spend your holiday with us, and we hope to welcome you back for more family adventures in the future.

Pros and Cons
4/5 stars
There were definite pros and cons. The view was breathtaking. Sunrise with coffee, and sunset with cocktails. You have a PERFECT view of the sunrise from the deck. As far as the sunset, you see it stretch across the mountains, and the "smoke" drifts through. Pictures don't do it justice. We traveled with a group of 12, six adults and six teenagers. The bedrooms and bathrooms worked out great to accommodate us. Some found their beds to be uncomfortable, but my husband, kids, and I didn't have any issues. There was plenty of space for privacy, as well as space for all of us to hang out together. The kids really enjoyed the first level with the pool table and large television. My son brought his PS5, and we all brought our Firesticks. The internet was hit or miss, so streaming live TV was difficult at times. The adults enjoyed time around the fire pit before calling it a night. As far as the kitchen, some things were there in abundance, while others were missing or didn't work. For example, there were plenty of frying pans and skillets, including two large, deep skillets. However, the pots are small. There are lots of glasses, silverware, mugs, and cooking utensils, but there is a service of 8 for plates. (We used paper, so it wasn't an issue for us. Could be for someone else, though.) There are 2 glass casserole dishes, decent size, but only one baking sheet, and it's round, not very large. There are 2 can openers, but neither works. There is one dish towel, and no pot holders. These things were an issue for us. The hot tub was fun, but it needs a thorough scrubbing. There were some things we noticed with cleanliness, but nothing over the top. Some found food remnants in their bedrooms, and we found some under the couches. We also found eyelash strips stuck to the main area floor, in plain sight. The food wasn't something we were looking for, but if the remote fell, and we bent down to get it, etc, that stuff was visible. The oven was pretty bad, particularly in the area where the pans are stored. Seems the bare minimum is being done by the cleaning service. Some had hot water for showers, while others didn't. To say the driveway is steep is an understatement. It's not just the driveway; it's the main road to the "neighborhood" road, as well as the "neighborhood" road, and the driveway. They are steep, winding roads with several very sharp turns. We almost brought my husband's work truck, and we ended up being so thankful we didn't because it wouldn't have ever made those turns. If you are prone to motion sickness, start a regimen of Dramamine before you arrive. I learned the hard way and spent our first full day feeling awful. On the same note, it takes a minimum of about 40 minutes one way to get anywhere. This impeded on our plans, as we didn't have enough time to do certain activities with others. There were several things broken upon our arrival, such as closet and shower doors and little miscellaneous decor items. The main thing we were concerned with was the refrigerator door. You have to maneuver the middle that seals it before closing, so you have to wiggle it into place, close the right door, then close the left door. We did contact the management company about all of the broken items, and they responded immediately offering to send someone out for repairs. Aside from the fridge, the other things weren't an issue. We just wanted them to be aware, so we weren't held responsible. The guts of the grill are shot. The flame only comes out in certain areas. We're glad we checked this before purchasing food to grill. (Which we had planned to do.) We had a bear visit at least twice, so follow the safety guidelines. We were very vigilant, keeping trash in the cages and making sure there wasn't anything left outside or in our vehicles. The bear still came...right to the door. I'm not saying this is a bad thing because this is their home, but it should be taken seriously, especially if there are children on site. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. The negative things I mentioned were an issue for us, but they may not be a concern for someone else. Also, they weren't enough of an issue to ruin the trip. That being said, we thought that information would be useful for future guests.

The Cabin was beautiful, lots of room for everyone to be comfortable and have fun. The only is issue we had was the drive way , it is very steep.

We're glad to hear that you found the cabin to be spacious and accommodating, providing ample room for everyone to be comfortable and have fun. We understand your concern about the steepness of the driveway, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Trip

House was ok, parking a big problem for 4 cars -- house that sleeps 20 should have parking. House has some problems too-- settling that refrigerator drawers open as you open frig, floors are slanted, doors do not shut unless you dead bolt them. We like the view but will find a different place next time for our big family.
- Michelle

Thank you for being a valued guest. It is typical that properties in the mountains are located at high elevations , which provide incredible views for visitors. Steep driveways and somewhat tight parking are expected with mountainside homes. The house settling you have conveyed has not been mentioned by any previous guests or the maintenance staff. Our team will be happy to investigate. This beautiful property maintains consistent 5 star reviews. The long range views from this property are breath taking. Again, thank you for your information , and we hope you visit the Smoky Mountains again!

Endless Horizons
5/5 stars
The house name is well named. The home was beautiful, very clean, and the views are incredible. Most people attending missed the first turn off the main road, as the GPS does not correctly identify the turns in the road, but we all got to the home safe and sound. I would not recommend making the drive in inclimate weather, as the turns on the road leading up to the house are sharp and steep. From the deck you can see for miles and miles and there are great views of the sunrise each morning. Absolutely incredible. The kitchen was well stocked with high-end utensils, glasses, coffee cups, etc. The bathrooms had nice towels and washcloths, and the bed linens we very nice. The quilts on the beds were very nice and the beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay again. If there is connection to cable on either TV, we couldn't find it. We had to sign into the web to watch our football games on Saturday. We saw local TV channels, but if there is cable for access to ESPN, there needs to be instructions on how to access it.
- JONATHAN

Thank you for your great review and feedback! The roads can be difficult but they do provide the best views. This cabin does only have local channels any special channels such as ESPN will have to be streamed. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us and the many amenities it has to offer! We hope you stay with us again soon!

Amazing Rental
5/5 stars
This renal home was a blast. It was very clean upon arrival. The view was beautiful, plenty of space at the top of the driveway (very steep) to accommodate 6 cars and two motorcycles, and lots of entertainment (pool table, hot tub, smart tvs, fire pit, etc). Would definitely stay here again.
- Leland

Thank you so much for the feedback and great review! We enjoyed having you and your family stay at our cabin and look forward to having you back again soon.

The house was amazing. Comfortable beds with luxury linens, plenty of towels except in the kitchen. Our family of 12 enjoyed everything about the house. We loved the decks, fire pit, pool table and the little ones enjoyed the video games. The best part was the house was at the top of the mountains with amazing sunrises but the worse part was it has an incredibly STEEP drive. Be warned! It was nerve racking every time we drove up and down. We had a variety of vehicles, a Truck, a SUV, and a car. The truck and SUV were fine but the car never made it all the way up. Plus, the parking area is not large enough to turn around the vehicles easily.
- Cathy

Thank you for the kind review! We look forward to hosting you again :)
