1. Dishes in the cabinet were put up DIRTY with visible food on them. Glasses in the cabinet were also replaced with visible liquid stains and lipstick stains. We used paper plates & plastic cups from then on. 2. Bed in the back had sheets that had NOT been changed. They were covered with sand. 3. House not as described, as there were beds for 7, not 8. Also, 2 bikes were stated as available, but there was only 1 bike, and it was LOCKED with no combination given. 4. Broken glass on front door letting in hot air and bugs. 5. Construction 2 doors down caused entire house to visibly shake and caused all the knick-knacks on the wall to shake. 6. The fact that we paid a $165 CLEANING FEE was absurd, as the house had obviously not been cleaned.

We are sorry that the guest was not happy with their stay at our beach home. We never received a call during the guests stay to address any issues. The cleaners have been cleaning this home since before we took over management years ago, and are hand picked by the owner. They leave a calling card for guests with their contact information, should guests need anything during their stay. Guest never reached out to cleaners. Bikes are not advertised with the property. We will inspect for broken glass. This was not brought to our attention, so we could not address before receiving the review. We are unable to predict construction and it can take place anywhere at any given time. We are sorry if it was an inconvenience. We have to disagree with this guest review, just because we were never contacted during stay. We feel that guest should have contacted us - we would have gladly relocated them or addressed any issues to insure that they were enjoying their visit to our beach home.

My grandchildren, my daughter and I loved the charming cottage Seaview very much: Everyone found a comfortable place to sleep, play, sit down to read a book or all the other things we liked to do. And the main thing: One could very easily reach the marvellous beach just dressed in swimsuits. Kitchen and bathrooms are properly and appropriately equiped. We were a little bit sad, that we could not really see the sea from the cottage - even not from the terasse on the little tower nearby - trees around were too high. And the other floors of the tower were not open for us - a pitty for the girls. The pet-friendly equipment lead to some places where dog-hair could be found - even on the beds in the wintergarden. We would have appreciated if we could have used these beds at one or the other opportunity. All together. We had great days in a wonderful surrounding, both the nice cottage and the wonderful city of Seaside with the great beaches.

I have rented this house many times, because the owner is very dog friendly! Even dog bed and sheets to cover the sofas provided. Otherwise, I would stay at a less cluttered, less buggy place. Upside: your dogs can come with you on vacation, very shady with big trees on property, big glassed-in porch, has wifi, great shower in master bedroom, sleeps 8, AC worked great, fans in every room, lots of cool folk art on walls, well equipped kitchen, nice deck and outdoor shower. Downside: bugs! - roaches, other bugs that bite (not bedbugs, fleas or mosquitoes - I don't know what the bites on the people were from - dogs didn't get them), too many little things on every possible surface - every table, ledge, dresser is full of cute little things - but that means no room to put your own stuff. Also, I did not realize that we needed to bring our own toilet tissue (two small rolls per toilet for 7 days for 8 people? really?), paper towels and sink detergent. Fortunately there is a Publix a few miles up the road. The beach was beautiful. Good walking distance to Seaside. After initial complaint a pest control person came and sprayed outside the house, no noticeable difference inside but maybe the next generation of bugs will be diminished.

This 3 bedroom cottage was perfect for us. Unique folk art decor but also very casual and comfortable. We had two families with teenaged boys and our two dogs. The large screened in porch was perfect and where we spent a lot of time (kitchen table, porch swing). Only complaint was that there were only 4 kitchen chairs, so we could not all fit at the table. One end of the porch had two twin beds (in addition to the 2 in the 3rd bedroom) which was a bonus for us. Property manager was very responsive -before we arrived, I specifically asked whether there was a grill and they said there was, but when we got there it was not there. Apparently another property had borrowed it and there was some confusion, but by the second day we had a brand new gas grill to use! House has a washer and dryer which came in handy. Second bathroom has shower outside, which the boys didn't mind at all. Master bedroom had a new multi-nozzle shower for those who preferred showering inside. There is no dishwasher though. We used a lot of paper plates and also put the boys on kitchen duty, so it worked out. Overall, it was a great week. Dogs were welcome and the kids could run back and forth to the beach easily. Would go back.
