Professionally cleaned and sanitized per CDC guidelines between each guest stay. PLEASE NOTE- For extended stays of 60 days or more we require a mid-stay clean be done by our cleaners. A member of our team will reach out upon your booking to coordinate the fee and scheduling.

Welcome to the NEST!!

The lovely newly renovated and decorated home is located in a quiet neighborhood in North Sarasota, near Seagate, The Powel Crosley Estate. This large beautifully decorated home has lots of room and an outdoor space that truly makes it feel that you are living in a large lush peaceful garden. The outdoor area has a fire pit with seating, loungers, a pond with a waterfall, and a separate "she/man" shed for even more privacy. As dusk turns into night, the backyard really comes alive with ambient string lighting in the garden area and inside the screened-in Lanai that is connected to the house. The backyard abounds with wildlife and birds chirping which can make a great place to sit, relax, have a drink and let the stresses of life melt away.

The living room is spacious and with a leather sectional that is perfect for watching your favorite TV shows or movies. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower stall, and a large closet with plenty of space to unpack. The second bedroom has two twin beds and access to a hallway bathroom with a tub/shower combination. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed, wall-mounted TV, and access to a separate bathroom with a walk-n shower stall near the kitchen. The office/Den combination is perfect for remote workers to get away and have some privacy. It also has a queen sleeper sofa which can be used as a fourth bedroom.

There is a large open kitchen that is fully stocked with dishes, glasses, and basic appliances to enjoy meals made at home. There is a dining table in the kitchen and another adjacent gaming table that can be used for playing games or extra seating for eating inside. The screened lanai connected to the home has a large table with seating for six or more, an outside TV, and a comfortable seating area. This a great place to have an alfresco meal outside with ambient string lights listening to the waterfall in the backyard. Outside of the lanai is a vegetable garden that you are free to use to pick fresh tomatoes or herbs for your home-cooked meals.

This comfortable private home is located next to the Powel Crosley Estate and USF campus, just 8.5 miles from the University Town Center Mall which is great for shopping and upscale restaurants. The Sarasota/Bradenton airport is only 5 minutes away (1.2 miles) and downtown Sarasota is 11 minutes (4.5 miles). There is a Publix grocery store at Bayshore Gardens on Tamiami Trail that is 8 minutes away (3.5 miles) to stock up on snacks, drinks, and food items or last-minute items you forgot to pack for the trip. Ringling Museum and Jungle Gardens are also in close proximity. No trip to Sarasota would be complete without going to one of the world-class beaches nearby. Lido Key Beach is 21 minutes (8 miles) and Siesta Key Beach is a 32-minute drive (12.9 miles). Check out St Armand's Circle near Lido Key Beach for additional shopping and great restaurant choices.

There are many great restaurants within a short car ride such as the Sunnyside Café which among other things has the best lobster roll sandwich in town!! Downtown Sarasota is a short 13-minute drive and abounds with restaurants, rooftop bars, and shopping. Tarpon Bay Grill in the Ramada Inn, just north of US41 is a fun place to sit and have a beverage on the Marina. Other restaurant selections are Mirna's Cuban, Mama G's Coffee shop for German baked goods, and Jo-To Japanese restaurant all within a 3-mile radius of the home.

Frequently Asked Questions

1—Please no parties, we want you to enjoy each other and have a great time but disruptive parties are not permitted.  This is a residential neighborhood and the authorities will be called if you cause a disturbance.  
2—Treat this home as if it were your own.
3—Report any damage to the home to your host immediately.
4—At the end of your stay place garbage and recycling in the bins on the outside of the house.
5—Tenant agrees to leave the premises and its contents in the same condition, neat and tidy, as Tenant found the premises to be upon move-in, normal wear and tear expected. Beds should be stripped of linens and placed in a pile in each bedroom for housekeeping.
6—Furnishings are not to be removed from the premises for use outside or in other properties.
7—Smoking is not allowed in the home. 
8—Reservations are not made by or for a minor, defined as any person under the age of twenty-five (25).
9—Tenant and any guest of Tenant shall obey all laws of the state of Florida, as well as local laws, at all times while they are on the premises. Failure to abide by the laws of Florida or the above rules may cause tenant to be asked to vacate the premises and forfeit all rents and security/damage deposits.
10—Please observe quiet time after 10:00 pm.  Loud music and outdoor entertainment is prohibited.
11- Amazon firesticks on all TV's in home, please do not remove or try and reconfigure.   If missing, upon departure each one is 30.00 and you agree to replacement cost.
