Reviews

Great stay!
4/5 stars
Great location with plenty of space. Easy morning coffee on the deck listening to the gentle waves and feeling the sea breeze. Easy walk over to the beach, as well as walking to restaurants, stores and grocery. Bring your own pillows. All in house are very flat. The one concern was with the linens provided. Beds were made and towels laid out. Based on check out instructions to leave linens on floor only for beds used, I did not have a comfort level that beds were freshly made. The shrunk wrapped linens delivered for renters to make beds give more confidence.

Thank you for your review and feedback! I will pass this along to the owner and cleaner. We do take our linens to a commercial laundromat to get them professionally cleaned after each use! It was a pleasure to host you during your stay!

LOVED IT!!
5/5 stars
A beautiful condo, with so much space in it! Loved the 2 and half baths, the kids room had 2 bunk beds that could’ve fit at least 6 kids and then the other 2 bedrooms each had a king bed. Not too far of a walk to the beach at all! It was clean when we got there! Plenty of dishes!! We even got detergent for the dishwasher and the washer machine! Beautiful view of the ocean for not being beach/ocean front! And the pool was never too crowded! Great location as far as being on the island! It really was a 10/10 trip altogether. We will be booking here again!

Perfect weather, great host, and amazing view!
5/5 stars
The "Crowes Nest" condo unit was perfect for our two small families. The view was amazing even being 3rd row we had a perfect view of the ocean for our mornings on the balcony. Everything was as described in the unit and we were blown away by all the accessories in the kitchen. The walk was not bad to the beach and as always the beach itself was never overly crowded. The pool was large to accommodate a number of different families staying in the different units. James was amazing to work with even when we had minor issues with the AC unit he was always there to find fixes and respond back at all hours of the week. Drains ran a little slow and the washer unit had a little hiccup when it would not latch but we were able to work around all of that to get them working. We love our time at the beach, the unit, and iTrip for communicating all week with us. We will be back to the island in the near future!

Well maintained, clean condo
4/5 stars
Very well appointed condo just a short walk to the beach, local shops, & ice cream. Condo had a well stocked kitchen with everything you need. Only two minor drawbacks - 1) be prepared to wake up with the sun as the flimsy blinds do little to block the sun lights; 2) bunk beds in the kids rooms squeak terribly with any tiny movement. Otherwise, great condo and would visit again.

Perfect location!
5/5 stars
We enjoyed a 3 night stay at the Crowe's Nest condo. It's located one block off the ocean which was perfect. We were walking distance to everything. Check in process was clearly communicated and a breeze. There were 6 of us and plenty of space. The kitchen has ample dishes, pots, etc for cooking in. Do bring your own spices and herbs if you plan to cook. There's both bar seating and a table for eating. The place is nicely decorated and the living room furniture comfortable and cozy. The bedrooms are spacious and it was nice having so much bed space. Two cons: 1) we did find the bunk beds to be noisy when turning over/moving and 2) in addition to the blinds, would have like the option to pull darkening curtains to sleep past sunrise. Overall, great place to stay, would again and recommend to others!

The accommodations were superb. The property manager was extremely professional and reflects most favorably on the organization. Professional in every sense of the word. .If 5 stars is the best than he is a six.

Oak Island Family Fun
5/5 stars
Our family enjoyed our time at Crowe's Nest. It has all of the amenities needed in a condo at the beach. With teenagers, the short walk to the beach was no problem at all. The smart TVs in each room was perfect on rainy days. Everyone could watch whatever they wanted, with no argument. My only advice is...Provide (or guests should bring) kitchen towels. Overall, a great vacation!!!
- Angela C

Thanks for your review. We appreciate the feedback about the kitchen towels and will definitely act on it. And we are glad that your whole family had a good time.
