Reviews

Wonderful weekend with family
5/5 stars
Upon arrival we had some issues but they were quickly addressed by Jennifer and Dennis. The home is very nice for large groups and you don't feel like you are in a tuna can. They offer plenty of things to do to keep your group happy. We didn't use the hot tub, grill or theater, but it's available. We were planning to use the fire pit but were having so much fun playing pool and chess and then it started raining so it didn't matter at that point lol. The view is absolutely beautiful! The only negative, which is not a deal breaker is the deck need to be redone to reflect the picture and replacing the weathered deck furniture. Be cautious and brave (lol) when driving up the driveway.First time up is like 😳 lol but after that , you got it!. All in all my family is already requesting to return to this home and at the end of the day, it's all about what you make out of stay. We had a blast! Jennifer and Dennis were wonderful, they can't help you fix things if you don't let them know what's wrong. They checked in with us to make sure we were doing well and it made our stay enjoyable. GIVE IT A STAY, MAKE SOME MEMORIES AND ENJOY THE BEAUTIFUL VIEW!!!! 🌲( just don't book our days 🤣)

Wonderful family experience
5/5 stars
50 Mile View is an incredible place to spend time with the family. The view is breath taking, and the house accommodates more than a dozen people. The multiple decks allow everyone the best view. Taylor at ITrip was so nice and helpful and made sure all of my questions were answered. I will suggest that this property is better suited for enjoying the amenities and charm of the house. We went to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg daily which was a lot of driving and missed out on the full experience staying at this property. If your a driving enthusiast, your gonna love the winding hair pin curves and steep incline/drops to and from the property. Lastly, we saw the biggest bear of the trip up close and personal walk through the property the morning before we left. Talk about getting connected with nature. Thanks again Taylor, will definitely be contacting you for our next adventure.
- Debra

This makes our day here at iTrip! We are so, so happy you enjoyed your time here with us and all that the cabin offers and seeing the bear is just plain neat! It was wonderful to work with you and can't wait to help you on your other visits to the area! Thank you for your wonderful review and feedback! We appreciate it!

Wonderful weekend in the Smokies
5/5 stars
We had a blast at 50 Mile View. My family does an annual reunion/whitewater rafting trip. This year we did the Pigeon Forge River, and 50 Mile View was an excellent base for us. Our first day, there was a bit of rain, and it was so cool to see the Smoky Mountains live up to their name! With three levels of living, 50 Mile View allowed us to spread out to have fun, and get together to have fun. We enjoyed the pool table, the Scrabble board, and made some minimal use of the TV Theatre room. We cooked all our meals at the house, and found the kitchen well stocked and the grill worked well. We really enjoyed sitting by the fire pit at night, making S'Mores and playing with sparklers. The precautions around the garbage cans were well warranted, as we had a bear visit us during our visit!

YAY! This makes our day here at iTrip! Our goal is to provide the best experience for our guests. We are happy to hear that this cabin met your expectations! Thank you so much for the great review and feedback. We hope to host your next adventure to the Smoky Mountains soon!

Beautiful House and great weekend
4/5 stars
House was amazing and we had a wonderful trip. House was mostly clean and had everything we could need. A few minor details were lacking but nothing that affected the overall experience. I would absolutely recommend it!
- Brandon
View was great, but lacking details
3/5 stars
The view from the cabin was outstanding! However, please pay attention to the details. The driveway was very steep and if raining, you will need to get a running start if you don't have 4 wheel drive. We swept the leaves off the driveway and this helped. No xbox or DVD player in the theater room and the wifi was too slow to stream a movie, also the surround sound system was not operating at that time. Housekeeping needs to pay attention to details as there were wet towels in the dryer, the bed sheets on the bunk beds were folded underneath the pillows, cobwebs above the sink in the downstairs master bedroom. Apparently the bug man sprayed before we arrived, so there were lots of dead flies in the large window that could be seen when playing pool. It was the small details that housekeeping overlooked that kept our review low. You pay the higher price for an experience and this cabin is not worth the holiday/winter price.
- Michael

Thank you for your review and feedback. We are sorry to hear your stay was anything short of perfect. Lawn care is regularly maintained at the property and leaves are always difficult during this time of year. We do not advertise an Xbox or DVD player as an amenity and have had no complaints regarding the WiFi at the property. We have shared your concerns with our housekeeping manager to ensure this will not be an issue in the future. We hope you visit the Smoky Mountains again.
