Take it easy in this "Old Florida" cottage located just one block from beach access! Walk over to Surfside Park, a local “best kept secret” beachfront park with a picnic pavilion and restrooms, and enjoy swimming, surfing, and sunbathing. Cool off in the Key-West style cottage and cook up dinner in the fully equipped kitchen. The cottage has two separate units, each with its own private front porch and entry. This unit (A) features a living and dining area, kitchen, and a separate bedroom. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck in the lush backyard while listening to the birds singing, and soak in the hot tub in the evenings. The fully fenced backyard also has a patio with grill and a table for el fresco dining.

After a short 1 mile walk through the neighborhood streets and across the Vilano river boardwalk to Vilano Town Center, you can stroll down palm tree-lined Vilano Road (Vilano's "Main Street") along sea-colored sidewalk pavers to the Vilano Pier which offers beautiful sunset views across the river to Historic St. Augustine. You can also fish off the Pier. On your way back through the Art Deco/Florida Vernacular-styled Vilano Beach Town Center, stop in for a great meal at one of five local restaurants ranging from pizza to Chinese to Italian to seafood. Or pick up picnic/snack items at the Publix Grocery, which includes a deli, liquor store and a pharmacy. Back at the beach enjoy swimming, sunning, surfing, fishing and skim-boarding. For a special evening, several oceanfront and riverfront restaurants are within 1/2 mile-3 miles of Vilano Cottage.

25 year age requirement to book and stay: Tenant must be at least twenty-five (25) years of age (an "adult") and will be an occupant of the unit during the entire reserved dates.

Noise Ordinance: The city of St. Augustine has a noise ordinance that prohibits noise between the hours of 10:00pm-6:00am Sunday-Thursday, and 11:00pm-7:00am Friday-Saturday. Violations can result in a $500 fee. Please keep this in mind, thank you!
