Meet iTrip® Knoxville

iTrip Knoxville is owned and operated by Rock Hurst. A Knoxville native, Rock was named after his great, great grandfather, Standing Rock, who was a Cherokee Indian in Cherokee, North Carolina.

After a career in apparel sales, representing some of the most recognized athletic brands in sporting goods, Rock found his calling to short-term vacation rental management by way of a deep dive into franchise concepts as he searched for something sustainable that would inspire him.

Rock acquired a real estate license and invested in rental properties as a secondary income source. Over time, it became apparent that the iTrip rental model was a perfect fit for what he wanted to accomplish in a new career. The iTrip model made sense when he considered a business that would fit his lifestyle and create value and equity. Plus, he loves showcasing Knoxville and presenting it as one of the most popular vacation destinations in East Tennessee and the U.S.

Prior to his professional career, Rock played sports most of his life. He graduated from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina, with degrees in history and political science. In his leisure time, he enjoys cooking, hunting, fishing, film production, riding motorcycles, hiking, water sports, live music, acting, and coaching little league baseball and football.
