Meet iTrip® Hollywood Beach

Dr. Sharon McKnight owns and manages iTrip Hollywood Beach in Florida. As a short-term rental property manager, she serves homeowners, investors and guests in Hollywood Beach, Hallandale Beach, Pembroke Pines, Miramar, North Miami Beach and Miami Gardens.

Sharon is often described as an ambitious, friendly, down-to-earth individual who enjoys any reason to laugh. She entered the hospitality industry in 1996, with Sandals Resorts International and later ended her corporate journey with First Service Residential Florida. In 2022, she decided to invest in iTrip. Sharon is confident this franchise will allow her to use her hospitable nature, hotel and property management experience, and education to create the winning sauce for her clients and community.

Sharon’s curiosity in high-rise properties led her to embarking on a career in property management. A stickler for excellence, she ensures clients receive unmatched customer service, while helping short-term rental owners generate more revenue and better guest reviews.

After migrating to the U.S., Sharon has lived in Broward County for approximately 20 years. She attended Florida International University where she attained a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and her first graduate degree in Adult Education and Human Resource Development (AEHRD). From there, she earned her Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Educational Leadership and Research Methodology, with a concentration in Adult and Community Education from Florida Atlantic University. Sharon is also a licensed Community Association Manager and a Realtor®. However, she does not sell real estate in Broward County.

When not managing vacation rentals in Hollywood Beach, Sharon serves advocacy groups and enjoys spending time with her miniature Aussiedoodle named Scout. In honor of her son, Sharon will continue her social responsibility through supporting at-risk teens and young adults. She also has a daughter who is a successful entrepreneur.
